Nagarahole Tiger Reserve

Karnataka has been declared as No.1 State in Tiger Population in the country. Places to visit in Nagarhole

Rameshwara Temple: Rameshwara Temple is located on the banks of the Lakshmana Tirtha River, near Nagarhole. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and remains crowded during the Maha Shivaratri celebrations. It is considered to be a very sacred place. A prominent shrine of Lord Shiva, recognized as the Rameshwara Temple, is located on the reservoirs of Lakshman Tirtha tributary. There is another shrine devoted to Sri Ram.

The Irpu Falls: The Irupu Falls are located in the Brahmagiri Range n the Kodagu district of Karnataka, India. The Falls are also known as the Lakshmana Tirtha Falls, derived from the name of the tributary of Cauvery which starts from these falls, the Lakshmana Tirtha River. it is to be found in the Bhramagiri Range and is almost 60 m tall. Irupu falls is a foremost tourist draw as well as a pilgrimage location because of the Lakshmana-tirtha Falls.Monsoons are ideal to visit Iruppu Falls as it provides a great view of the gushing waters. Brahmagiri Wildlife Sanctuary: Brahmagiri Wildlife Sanctuary The Brahmagiri wildlife sanctuary is located in the Kodagu. Brahmagiri, at 1608 m above sea level, is a hill range on the Western Ghats bordering Kerala and Karnataka. It is situated on the border between Wyanad District of Kerala state on the south and Kodagu District in Karnataka on the north side.
