Day 01: Delhi to Dharamshala (474km/10.5 Hour)
Welcome to the land of natural beauty, snow-capped mountains and deep valleys.
On arrival at Delhi airport or railway station, you will drive and proceed towards Dharamshala.
It is one of the most captivating hill station set in the upper hilly terrains of Kangra Valley in Himachal Pradesh.

Day 02: Full Day tour to Dharamshala

Day 04: Dalhousie local sightseeing

Chamera Lake: Chamera Lake is a mystic lake located in the Chamba district in Dalhousie, in the northern state of Himachal Pradesh. Located at a distance of 25 km from Dalhousie, the exquisite Chamera Lake is actually a reservoir formed by the Chamera Dam, which is positioned at an altitude of 1700 meters. It is a major source of water supply for the villagers and is continuously fed by the Ravi River.

Dense forests, a vast spread of green meadows and vistas of imposing snow-clad Himalayan peaks make Khajjiar a famous destination among tourists.
Trekking is the most popular way to explore Khajjiar. Zorbing is another popular recreational activity in this area which involves rolling downhill from within a plastic ‘zorb’.
Visit the Khajjiar Kalatop wildlife sanctuary. Home to a wide variety of flora and fauna, countless beautiful birds, leopard, deer, bear, langur, jackal, barking goral and Himalayan black marten can be spotted here.
Lastly, behold the magnanimous 85 ft. statue of Lord Shiva in Khajjiar. It is one of the tallest statues in Himachal Pradesh. This glistening statue is polished in Bronze and is a sight to behold.

Khajjiar Lake: Khajjiar Lake is situated in Khajjiar, in Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh, India. It is situated at a height of around 1,920 m above sea level between Dalhousie and Chamba Town. The small water streams of the Himalaya act as a source for the Khajjiar Lake. One can also visit the Khajinag temple which features fine wood carvings and a gold dome. Paragliding here is a must, for it's a unique chance to capture the Himachali terrain from an altogether new height.
Khajji Nag Temple: Khajji Nag Temple s a 12th century AD temple dedicated to Naga. the lord of serpents and you will find some snake idols here. It is mainly a wooden structure and has images hanging from the roof of the circumambulatory path. This temple has a perfect blend of Mughal and Hindu styles of architecture as reflected in the wooden carvings on the ceilings and wooden posts. The temple’s chambers are carved out of wood and its architecture exhibits a fusion of Muslim and Hindu style. The age-old practice of goat sacrifice is still practiced at the temple.
Kailash View: Kailash View Khajjiar ground glimpses of Mount Kailash are available on a clear day. It is believed that Mount Kailash is the home to Lord Shiva, the main deity of the Himachal region.
Khajjiar Villages: Khajjiar is also popular for its beautiful & small Villages like Rota, ladi etc which are situated near the slopes. These small villages are quite popular in this area for Apple Orchards. These villages are located at slopes nearby. Within the boundaries of the khajjiar area, these villages are quite near to the ground of Khajjiar not far from each other around the tall deodar forests of Khajjiar. Khajjiar also offers numerous trekking opportunities with excellent views and beautiful camp-sites. Golden Devi Temple: The temple derives its name from the golden dome it houses, This temple is also known as the Golden Devi temple situated on Khajjiar Lake. This temple was constructed in the 12th century. The temple got the name as Golden Devi because it has a golden dome. It has a wooden shrine with intricate sculpture. The scenic beauty of this place attracts a lot of people, devotees and tourists from different parts of Chamba as well as rest of India.
Panch Pandav Tree: The Panch Pandav Tree is a very popular tree located on the ground of Khajjiar and famous for its shoots. This tree is located near a rest house while moving towards Khajjiar School. The main root of the tree is static and there are five shoots branching out from the tree.
Kalatop Wildlife Sanctuary: This is one of the famous places of attraction in Dalhousie is Kalatop wildlife sanctuary. Kala top is a pleasant getaway, with a panoramic view and a forest rest house. Day 06: Dalhousie to Manali (343km/10.5 Hours)

Day 07: Full Day Manali Tour
After breakfast, start your day exploring Manali by visiting Beas Kund, Hadimba Temple and the Rahalla Falls.
If you love trekking or are a beginner wanting to experience its thrill, trekking to Beas Kund is the perfect opportunity. The Kund is the origin of the River Beas.
Experience a high-altitude glacial lake and camp adjacent to the Himalayan peaks concealed with snow.
The surrounding meadows of Dhundi and Bakarthach are remarkable in its beauty.
On visiting the Hidimba Temple, you will come across an ancient cave temple that is dedicated to Hidimba Devi. It is a scenic temple that is surrounded by a cedar forest at the foot of the Himalayas.
Then, visit the Club House, one of the major tourist places in Manali for indoor games and adventure activities. Indulge in table tennis, carom, skating, boating, river-crossing and go-karting here.

Beas Kund: Beas Kund is one of the most beautiful short treks in Himachal Pradesh. From Solang Nallah, the route winds through the famous Solang Valley. The meadows of Dhundi & Bakarthach are spectacular in its beauty. As you climb higher you reach the origin of River Beas. A small glacial lake is feeded by the melting snow of the higher peaks of the region. It is an ideal base camp for climbing nearby peaks Shitidhar and Ladakhi peak. The West side of Beas Kund is magnificent peak of Hanuman Tibba at an altitude of 5990 m, which access through tiny pass of above this lake.
Hadimba Temple: Hidimba Temple Manali is an ancient cave temple dedicated to Hidimba Devi, who was a character in the Indian epic, Mahabharata. The temple is surrounded by a cedar forest at the foot of the Himalayas.
Rahalla Falls: Rahala waterfalls are an after effect of the dribbling of water from precipitous rocks and imposing glaciers. It exhibits the exceptional beauty of the environment around. The entire area is bounded with the thick deodar forest, and lofty birch trees, which creates an unspoiled and pungent atmosphere. Tibetan Monasteries Manali: Manali is known for its shiny gompas or Buddhist monasteries. It is maintained by donations from the local community and by sale of hand-woven carpets in the temple workshop.
Gompa: Gelukpa Cultural Society Gompa: This Gompa has a prayer room crammed with statues of bodhisattvas, revered lamas and Buddhist deities. There’s also a small workshop producing Tibetan carpets.
Vashisht Temple Manali: Vashisht village is a green patch of steep hill hanging at the base on a cliff. The village is 6 km from Manali at the banks of the Beas River opposite Old Manali. The village of Vashisht was named after Rishi Vashisht one of the seven sages of Hindu. According to the legend, Rishi Vashisht was left depressed on finding out that his children had been killed by Vishwamitra. The water from this spring is believed to have great healing powers, which can cure many skin diseases and other infections. There are Turkish-style bath houses available here that contain the hot water from the springs, which are used to take bath and enjoy the warmth of the place in privacy.
Manu temple: This magnificent temple is dedicated to the sage Manu, who is said to be the creator of the world and the writer of Manusmriti. The Manu Temple is located in old Manali, at a distance of three kilometers from the main market. The temple is one of the prime attractions in Manali and is believed to be the same place where sage Manu meditated after stepping on earth.
Day 08: Manali- Rohtang Pass Snow Point (Gulaba) - Solang valley

Next, visit the Indian Institute of Advanced Studies. Also famous as the Viceregal Lodge or Rashtrapati Niwas, this ancient British masterpiece surrounded by manicured lawns and gardens, ringed by beautiful pine trees and rose plants.
Then, go ahead to behold the beautiful sight of the Shimla State Museum. It houses a massive collection of ancient historical sculptures, coins, paintings, handicrafts, pre historic objects, wood carvings etc.
Lastly, visit the Christ Church. It is one the oldest churches in North India. It was built by the British in 1857. Indian Institute of Advanced Studies: The Indian Institute of Advanced Study is housed in the famous Viceregal Lodge situated on top of the Observatory Hill. Jakhu Hanumna Temple: This temple of Lord Hanuman, the most faithful aide to Lord Rama is located in the thick forests of Jakhu hills. The devotees need to cover a steep hill trek of around 2 kms to reach the temple which is 2.5 km from the Ridge and offers beautiful views of the Shivalik Mountains and the nearby town of Sanjauli. It is the highest peak in Shimla and gives shelter to countless playful monkeys which can be found waiting to be fed by visitors
Shimla church: Christ Church Shimla is the second oldest church in North India, after St John's Church in Meerut. It was consecrated on 10th January 1857 by Bishop Wilson of Calcutta. Built in Neo-Gothic style of architecture, other impressive features of the Church include paintings that portray scenes from Jesus Christ’s life. As it is located at the most prominent road of Shimla, The Ridge, it has become an important landmark in the city.
State Museum: The State Museum Shimla is housed in an old Victorian mansion carefully altered to adapt it to the museum. There are many colonial structures and heritage sites in Shimla that are of great historical importance. The museum also has a doll gallery which has several bride and groom dolls among many others which are admired by all visitors. Some archeological artifacts are also found here which include stone images from the 8th century.
Chadwick Waterfalls: Chadwick Falls is located at about 7 kilometers from Shimla, just beyond the summer hill. The waterfalls cascades down in to a deep gorge, from a height of 67 meters. Chadwick Falls is best seen just after the monsoon. September would be the best time to see and enjoy the Chadwick waterfalls.
Day 11: Shimla – Kufri (16km/60 min)
After breakfast, head for a day excursion to Kufri today.
If snow is what stirs excitement in you, Kufri is quite a retreat for your eyes.
The temples and bird’s eye view of the snow-capped mountains are absolutely worth your time. Visit the fun world at Kufri which serves its visitors with fun filled adventure activities. It is a must go to place in Shimla, especially if you are travelling with kids. It is most popular for being one of the highest amusement parks and has the highest go kart track in the world.
Next, take a horse ride up to the Mahasu Peak. The only way to reach the peak is by riding on a horse or mule. It is the highest peak in Kufri and the muddy path and no vehicles can ride up to the top.
Yak rides are also an additional tourist attraction in Kufri.
Later, return to the hotel in Shimla for a delightful meal and to spend the night.
