Zabeel Palaces Tour

The Traditional old dubai tour starts with a tour around the Zabeel Palace, The place is reachable from the shaikh Zayed Road & zabeel us the palace where royal family has lived. There are plenty of peacocks venturing peacefully around the Zabeel palace. You can have ample photo opportunities here.

Zabeel palace is the nostalic place for old dubai travellers, It was designed by Ing. Bullardm who also designed Dubai's Clock Tower. In 1965 Zabeel Palace stood alone in the desert. Sheikh Rashid took up residence in his new Palace around 1965. He lived there for the rest of his life. He became UAE's Prime Minister, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, current Ruler of Dubai, has also called his modern palace Zabeel Palace. This is a different palace from Sheikh Rashid's Zabeel Palace but also located in the same area.


Zabeel place is located opposite to Zabeel Park. You watch out for the sign that says ‘Private Access’ and the place is just on the right & you’ll see the zabeel palace gates. You will many peacocks and peahens surrounding the palace, It is very surprising to see so many large peacocks in the vicinity of palace and surprising part is that they never leave the access road.

You are allowed to get down here and do photography, but area is heavily guarded, it is a must place with out any entrace fees.
