Rajim ( 45 Kms) Tour - The Prayag of Chhatisgarh

Situated on the right bank of the river Mahanadi was one of the important urban centres in the Mahakoshal region. It is famous for its fine group of temples. 

Rajiva lochana temple :- Visit the world famoud main temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu known as Rajivalochana Temple. The twelve pillars of the temple have tall single figures sculptured on the face like Durga with eight arms, the Ganga and Yamuna and exquisitely carved incarnation of Vishnu, Rama, Varaha (boar) and Narasimha (Man-cum-Lion) etc.The temple is an important religious construct visited by devotees from all over the globe who arrive to offer their prayers to the Lord Vishnu. Other temples dedicated to the various incarnations of Lord Vishnu like the Vamana and the Narasimha are in close proximity of the Rajiv Lochan Mandir.

Budha Under Bodhi Tree :- Visit the black stone statue of the Budha meditating under the Bodhi tree. There are other temples around the main temple of Rajivalochana dedicated to different incarnations of lord Vishnu such as Vamana (dwart) Narasimha (Man-cum-Lion) Badrinath and Jagannath. 

Prayag of Chhatisgarh :- Rajim is also known as the "Prayag" of the Chhattisgarh. Visit The holy confluence of three rivers Mahanadi (Chitrotpala), Pairi and Sondur, called Triveni Sangam is at Rajim.

Champaran (15 kms) Tour - Birthplace of the Saint Mahaprabhu Vallabhacharya

From Rajim, proceed to Champaran, formerly known as Champajhar, further 15 km from Rajim, The village is birthplace of the Saint Mahaprabhu Vallabhacharya, the reformer and founder of the Vallabh sect also known as Pushtimarg. A temple has been constructed in his honour. Near this is a temple of Champakeshwara Mahadeva. There are 2 Baithakji's of lord Vallabhacharya Chaurasi Bethak.

There are two temples dedicated to Shri Mahaprabhuji in Champaran. The first one is known as Prakatya Baithakji Mandir, where seva is performed by Param Pujya Goswami shri Vrajjivanlalji and his 2 sons Goswami Shri Dwarkeshlalji and Shri Purshottamlalji. 

The second Baithakji is Mool Prakatya that is normally known as Chhatti Baithak. In this temple seva is done by Goswami shri Vallabhlalji and Shri Raghunathlalji (Shri Pinky Bawa) of 5th house of Kamvan.

Apart from this there is a Haveli temple dedicated to Shree Girirajji and Shree Balkrishnalalji. 

A small stream of Mahanadi River flows near the temple which is believed to be from Yamuna river and worshipped. Mahaprabhuji's Prakatya Utsav is celebrated every year on eleventh day of Baisakh and many of followers of the sect gather at the temple to pay homage.

After Breakfast, Departure for Dongargarh via Bhilai and Durg. Brief Stop at Bhilai Attractions. Reach Dongargarh by afternoon.

Bamleshwari Temple - Tour

Bambleshwari Temple is at Dongargarh in Rajnandgaon district, Chhattisgarh, India. It is on a hilltop of 1600 feet approachable by Roap way. The rope-way in the hill on which the temple is located, is another attraction to the tourists in the city. It is very popular to the tourists as it is the only rope-way  in Chhattisgarh state.

This temple is referred as Badi Bambleshwari. Another temple at ground level, the Chhotti Bambleshwari is situated about 1/2 km from the main temple complex. These temples are revered by lakhs of people of Chhattisgarh who flock around the shrine during the Navratris of Kavar (during Dashera) and Chaitra (during Ram Navami). There is tradition of lighting Jyoti Kalash during Navaratris here.

Dongar means mountains while Garh means fort. Legend goes that around 2200 years ago, Raja Veersen, a local king, was childless and upon the suggestions of his royal priests performed puja to the gods. Within a year, the queen gave birth to a son whom they named Madansen. Raja Veersen considered this a blessing of Lord Shiva and Parvati and constructed a temple here. 

In the Late Afternoon - Proceed to Bhoramdeo approx 5 hour Journey

Once reach Bhoramdeo, Dinner and night stay at Nagmori Tourist Cottage, Bhoramdeo. (Total road travel of approx 275 km in 8 hrs) 

Today we will have full day site seeing to Bhoramdev temples, Visit to Bhoramdeo Temples during first half of the day, Explore the Erotic Temples like Main temple and Madwa Mahal.

Later proceed to see Saroda-Dadar Reservior just 26 kms away, later half of the day.

Departure for Raipur via Somnath Temple. Ban jari Temple, Back to Raipur in late Night.
