Day 1: Arrive at Manali
Arrive at the Bhuntar airport in Kullu and head towards Manali. The distance between Bhuntar airport and Manali is 51 km. and it takes around 2 hours to reach. Manali is one of the most beautiful hill station in India. It is located at an altitude of around 1,900 meters. The entire drive from the airport to Manali is breath taking. Marvel at the snow-capped mountains along with beautiful surrounding nature during the route.
On arriving Manali, check in to the hotel. Relax for a while and later head to explore the popular attractions in Manali.
Visit hot water spring at Vashisht Kund. It is a common belief that the sulphur springs have natural healing properties. You may choose to take a dip in the kund for medicinal value. Later, visit the Handicraft Centre to pick souvenirs for your loved ones.
If you are an adventure soul, you must try out river rafting and river crossing in Manali. During summers the melting snow on Himalayas fill the rivers in Manali with water. Day 2: Manali to Kaza via Kunzum Pass
Begin the 2nd day of the Kaza holidays with hot breakfast in Manali. Then you check out of the hotel and proceed towards Kaza. The total distance is 202 km. and it takes around 7 hours of drive to reach the destination. Kaza is located on the floodplains of Spiti River. The crystal clear rivers, snowy high mountains and greenery are the main highlights of the Kaza Tourism.
On the way to Kaza, visit Kunzum Pass. The total distance from Manali to Kuzum Pass is 128 km. and it takes around 4 hours to reach. Kunzum Pass is an apt place for you if you love exploring the nature. The 9 km. of trek towards Moon Lake of the Chandratal keeps the adrenaline rush high. The Kunzum range of Himalayas can be seen clearly from here. The Kunzum Pass is situated at a higher altitude than the Rohtang Pass.
After Kunzum Pass, continue the journey towards Kaza. On reaching Kaza, check in to the hotel and take mouth-watering dinner. Prepare for an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3: Explore Kaza
The 3rd day of your Kaza holidays begins with lip-smacking breakfast. Today you explore the Kaza town that is situated in Lahaul Valley and Spiti Valley. The places you explore today includes Chandratal Lake, Ki Monastery and Kibber.
Chandratal Lake is an ideal place to visit for nature lovers. The reflection of Himalayan peaks in the clear waters of the river makes the view surreal. The majestic view makes it an unforgettable experience for visitors. The lake got its name “Chandra” as its shape is like that of the moon.
Ki Monastery is located at a height of 4,300 metres above the sea level. The 1000-year-old monastery is the oldest training centre of Lamas. The architect of the monastery makes it incredible. The construction of the gompa gives it the look of a monastery as well as a fort.
Kibber located at the height of above 4,200 metres above the sea level is the world’s highest motorable village. The landscapes of Kibber are very similar to that of Ladakh. The amazing weather and open blue sky makes it an ideal place for photography. For the best experience, visit Kibber at night to view the beautiful sky.
Later head back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Ki Monastery: Kye Gompa monastery located on top of a hill at an altitude of 4,166 meters (13,668 ft) above sea level, close to the Spiti River, in the Spiti Valley of Himachal Pradesh. Key Monastery is over 1000-year-old. It is the oldest training centre for Lamas. It is a collection of rooms and a labyrinth of corridors that do not follow any defined plan, but seem to have grown over the years. No definite data can be ascribed to the construction of the gompa that acted both as a monastery and as a fort, in the architectural definitions given to various monasteries.
Chandratal Lake: Chandratal Lake is a high altitude lake located in Lahaul & Spiti region of Himachal Pradesh. At an altitude of 4,300 meters, this lake is the source of Chandra River and its name “Chandra” is believed to be derived from its moon like shape. Lake is also quite famous for its majestic reflections of surrounding Himalayan peaks in its deep blue waters, which once you witness, will never forget in you entire life.
Kibber: Kibber which is located in Spiti Valley and at a height of 4205 meters above sea level holds the distinction of being the highest Motor able village in the world. The landscape of Kibber is similar to that of Ladakh and Tibet and the Tibetan Buddhism is the predominant religion here. This is the reason the Spiti Valley is also known as Little Tibet. The high altitude and stunning & pollution free atmosphere of Kibber is a boon for sky gazers and photographers, who get the most amazing pictures of the natural wonders here. High altitude and pollution free surroundings make Kibber a great destination for sky gazers as well as nature and adventure lovers. Watching the night sky from Kibber is indeed one of the best experiences in India.
After that you may have lunch at any nearest restaurant, after that you will continue your tour by visit Komic Village of Kaza.
Komic Village: Komic Village is lesser known village of Himachal Pradesh. Komic monastery also known as the Tnagyud Monastery has the honor of being one of the world’s highest motor able monasteries at 4587 mts overlooking the Komic village and mountain peaks. Komic in Spiti Valley is placed at an altitude of 5150 m above the sea level. The village has around a dozen houses, one monastery and a population of around 150, including the monks.

Day 4: Kaza Local Sightseeing
Start the 4th day of Kaza Manali tour with hot breakfast. Today you will indulge in local sightseeing in Kaza.
Visit Pin Valley National Park, which is spread over 675 square km and extends up to 1150 square km. If you love exploring the flora and fauna then no other place is better than Pin Valley National Park. You can witness the wide variety of birds, animals and variety of plant species. Make sure you have a valid permit to enter the park.
Later head to Dhankar Lake. It is located in the village of Dhankar. The beautiful lake is located at a height of 4,136 meters above the sea level. What makes this lake visit thrilling is its location between the hills. Enjoy the spectacular sight of the lake. You can also indulge in 2 hours trekking during the Dhankar Lake visit.
In the night, you can also explore the market of Kaza and do some shopping.
Later head back to the hotel and relish the delicious hot dinner. Prepare for an overnight stay at the hotel.
Pin Valley: Pin Valley is the only cold desert National Park located in Himachal Pradesh. The park lies in the valley of the Pin River, from where it derives its name. The park’s core zone is stretched over 675 sq km and the buffer zone extends over 1150 sq km. Foreign nationals are not allowed inside the park. Indians have to take permit to enter the park. Pin Valley National Park is part of this beautiful land and showcases the best of floral and faunal species that these high hills of Himalayas can offer. Apart from them, other species that are available in this park are fox, wolf, bharal and Himalayan marmot etc. Rare birds like Himalayan Snowcock, Chukor, Snow Partridge and the Tibet Snow Finch are also seen in the Pin Valley National Park
Dhankar Lake: Dhankar Lake is situated above the Village of Dhankar at the height of 4136 meters (13570 feet) in the middle of hills. Dhankar Lake Trek in Spiti is only about an hour or two long yet it is very treacherous as you climb more than 1000 feet in less than 2 hours on foot. As we were leaving the Dhankar Village behind I found this prayer wheel installed in a spring so. The loose pebbles and the crisp mountain air make you breathless within a few seconds.
Day 5: Kaza to Manali (202km/5 Hours)
Enjoy lip-smacking breakfast and prepare to checkout from the hotel. Proceed to Manali. The distance from Kaza to Manali is 202 km. and it takes around 5 hours to reach the destination.
Upon arrival in Manali, check in the hotel and relax for some time. Later you can indulge in local sightseeing at Manali.
Tibetan Monasteries Manali: Manali is known for its shiny gompas or Buddhist monasteries. It is maintained by donations from the local community and by sale of hand-woven carpets in the temple workshop.
Manu temple: This magnificent temple is dedicated to the sage Manu, who is said to be the creator of the world and the writer of Manusmriti. The Manu Temple is located in old Manali, at a distance of three kilometers from the main market. The temple is one of the prime attractions in Manali and is believed to be the same place where sage Manu meditated after stepping on earth.
Day 6: Full day Manali Tour
The 6th day of your Manali Kaza holiday package starts with morning breakfast. Then you proceed with Manali exploration.
Hadimba Temple is one of the must visit places in Manali. The 16th-century construction will take you back to the age-old times. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Hadimba who was the wife of Pandava Brothers, Bhima.
Rahalla Falls is located at a distance of 16 km. from Manali. If you are a nature lover then this place will take you closer to it. The water falls from the height of 8,500 feet, providing you a majestic view. The water of falls is extremely cold because it is the result of melting glacier. This place will definitely help you gather your mental peace.
Visit Beas Kund and try out adrenaline pumping adventures. You can choose to trek on the valley. Beas Kund trek gives you the chance to cross mountains and travel to the source of the Beas River. The meadows of Dhundi and Bakarthach makes the trekking journey an unforgettable experience. Apart from the adventure activities, you will enjoy beautiful nature as well.

Beas Kund: Beas Kund is one of the most beautiful short trek in Himachal Pradesh. From Solang Nallah, the route winds through the famous Solang Valley. The meadows of Dhundi & Bakarthach are spectacular in its beauty. As you climb higher you reach the origin of River Beas. A small glacial lake is feeded by the melting snow of the higher peaks of the region. It is an ideal base camp for climbing nearby peaks Shitidhar and Ladakhi peak. The West side of Beas Kund is magnificent peak of Hanuman Tibba at an altitude of 5990 m, which access through tiny pass of above this lake.
Hadimba Temple: Hidimba Temple Manali is an ancient cave temple dedicated to Hidimba Devi, who was a character in the Indian epic, Mahabharata. The temple is surrounded by a cedar forest at the foot of the Himalayas.
Rahalla Falls: Rahala waterfalls are an aftereffect of the dribbling of water from precipitous rocks and imposing glaciers. It exhibits the exceptional beauty of the environment around. The entire area is bounded with the thick deodar forest, and lofty birch trees, which creates an unspoiled and pungent atmosphere. The amazing spectacle of a cascade in the backdrop of magnificent snow clad mountain peaks is really worthy for a watch and offers a wonderful experience that one cannot forget for a lifetime.
Gompa: Gelukpa Cultural Society Gompa: This Gompa has a prayer room crammed with statues of bodhisattvas, revered lamas and Buddhist deities. There’s also a small workshop producing Tibetan carpets.
Vashisht Temple Manali: Vashisht village is a green patch of steep hill hanging at the base on a cliff. The village is 6 km from Manali at the banks of the Beas River opposite Old Manali. The village of Vashisht was named after Rishi Vashisht one of the seven sages of Hindu. According to the legend, Rishi Vashisht was left depressed on finding out that his children had been killed by Vishwamitra. The water from this spring is believed to have great healing powers, which can cure many skin diseases and other infections. There are Turkish-style bath houses available here that contain the hot water from the springs, which are used to take bath and enjoy the warmth of the place in privacy.
Day 7: Day Excursion to Solang Valley and Rohtang Pass
Have breakfast and on this day of Manali Kaza tour you will enjoy adventure activities at Solang Valley and experience snow like never before at Rohtang Pass Snow Point (Gulaba).
Solang Valley is located at a height of 2,560 metres above the sea level. The place is famous for hosting winter adventure sports. You will definitely feel thrilled while trying out the adventure sports here which include trekking, paragliding, skiing, parachuting and mountaineering. Make sure you take your camera with you to capture all the fun.
Rohtang Pass is 51 km. from Manali. For adventure, enthusiasts there are a plethora of snow activities ranging from snow biking to sledging, skiing, etc. Apart from the adrenaline pumping activities, it offers a panoramic view of snow clad mountains and Himalayan Peaks. Note that the Pass remains closed on every Tuesday and from November to March.

Day 8: Manali to Kullu and Departure

How to Reach Manali
By Flight: The nearest airport is at Bhuntar, located approximately 50 kilometres away from Manali. Domestic flights connect Bhuntar with Delhi and Chandigarh. Once at the airport, you can take a pre-paid taxi to Manali. However, owing to weather conditions, flights are not the most reliable option for getting to or out of Manali.
By Bus: Manali is very well-connected to important tourist destinations like Leh, Shimla, Kullu, Dharamshala and New Delhi by means of a network of state-run as well as private buses. The bus journey from Delhi to Manali is 550 kilometres, and it is advisable to book your tickets in the air-conditioned Volvo coaches, as the buses are more comfortable than ordinary ones, keeping in mind the long distance of the journey.
By Self: The drive up to Manali is simply breathtaking! You can catch scenic glimpses of the adjoining mountains and valleys from almost every turn that the twisty uphill road throws you in. Though a lot of tourists prefer a self-drive up to Manali, it is advisable to hire a taxi in case you are not comfortable with driving in mountainous regions.

Temperature in Manali
