Nariman Point Attractions Tour: Nariman Point is Mumbai's premier business district and country's first central business district, which was named after Khursheed Framji Nariman, a Parsi visionary.   • The central dome is 15 meters in diameter and reaches to a height of 26 meters above ground.

  • The statues of Chhatrapati Shivaji and Swami Vivekananda were installed later at the Gateway.

  • The cost of the construction was a sum of Rs. 21 lakh, borne mainly by the Government of India.

Boat cruise from Gateway of India

There is the presence of the sea steps behind this beautiful monument from where there is the view of sea front and a number of boats are present over there. Nominal charges are levied for the normal boats as well as paddle boats. Visitors can also visit the Elephanta Islands from this point.

Charges and Timing

Ferry ride on the Gateway of India each and every day. The charges for this Ferry ride ranges from Rs.55 to Rs.120 per person and that is at the time of holidays, Festival seasons and weekends.
