Start the tour from Pathankot and proceed to Chamba. It is arround 125 km and take3-4 hours to arrive Chamba. After arrival arrival visit local sightseeing of Chamba like Kailsah Manimahesh, Bhuri Singh Museum, Chamba Chaugan,Laxmi Narayam Temple, Chamunda Devi Temple and Hari Rai Temple. In Between your visit have lunch and some rest at Shining star Resort. After that check into hotel and overnight stay at Hotel.

Kailash Manimahesh: Manimahesh  is one of the famous place in Chamba .  This lake is supposed to be blessed by goddess Kali and protected by Lord Shiva. Thousands of pilgrims journey here to bathe in its sacred water, on the fifteenth day, following the festival of Janamashtami. A fair is held every year at this lake during the month of August or September.

Bhuri Singh Museum: Bhuri Singh Museumis one of the oldest museums in India. It was set up in September 1908 by the Raja Bhuri Singh under the guidance and inspiration of venerable historian of Indian Art Professor John Philip Vogel. It is on the world art map because of its finest collection of Pahari miniature paiting chieflu Chamba and guler Kangra styles. Apart from the paintings, the museum houses a large collection of epigraphs, copper plates, historical documents, manuscripts, sculptures in stone, metal and wood, Chamba rumals, coins, murals, wood carvings, armour and other decorative arts.

After breakfast check out from hotel and proceed to Tissa. It is arround 160 km and take 5-6 Hours to arrive.  Tissa is situated in Tissa Valley.  It falls on the way to Pangi Valley by road and is rich in agriculture and horticulture. The population of the Tissa is very low with very few option of accommodation. It is a snow bound region in winters though the amount of annual snow fall has decreased in the past two decades or so, most probably as a consequence of global warming. After arrival check into Guest house and overnight stay at Guest House. 

Day 2: Food

After breakfast check out from guest houyse and proceed to Killar. It is arround 100 km and take 4-5 hours. Satrundi is the base camp below the sach pass that connects Pangi valley to Chamba The road from Bairagarh to Saturndi passes thorough one the thickest forest in the area dominated by deodar, the forest is known as Kalaban (black forest). Four kilometers ascent to Sach pass is undertaken early morning from Satrundi. Normally, pass is not crossed into the afternoon. Beyond Satrundi, the region remains under snow almost throughout the year though the path is clear of snow in post- monsoon months. There is small temple at the top of the pass. After spending some time here move to Bagotu (3600 m).The descent of eight kilometer to Bagotu is tough.Killar is at about twenty kilometers from Bagotu. Reach Killar early evening & enjoy the Pangi Valley and overnight stay at Guest House. 

Day 3: Food

After breakfast Full day excursion to Killar. Killar is located along the Chenab river. Mahlu nallah is the gateway to Killar. Killar is the sub-divisional headquarter of Pangi Valley. Killar the headquarters of this area has a helipad. Pangi is also known as Trekkers Paradise. From Killar, trekkers can go west to Badarwah, J & K and east to Lahaul Spiti .

Day 4: Food

After breakfast check out from guest house and proceed to Udaipur. It is arround80 km andtake 1-2 hours to arrive Udaipur. After arrival visit local sightseeing of Udaipur like Triloknath temple and Markula devi temple.Spend some time there and proceed to keylong. In between your visit have lunch and some rest at Hotel Triveni, proceed to Keylong. It is 55 km from Udaipur and take 2 hours. After arrival check into hotel and overnight stay at hotel.

After breakfast visit some local sightseeing of Keylong like Khardang Gompa, Shasur Gompa, tayul Monastry, Darcha, Keylong Wazir Temple. In Between your Visit have lunch and some rest at hotel Neelkanth Nalwa. After that came back to hotel and overnight stay at hotel.


Khardang Gompa: The Khardang Monastery or Khardang Gompa reflects the traditional culture and art of the region. Located at an altitude of 3500m, the monastery gives a picturesque view of the natural surrounding region. The building also has a library where one can find Buddhist literature, as well as Kangyur and Tangyur scriptures. Thankas and musical instruments like drums, horns as well as huge statues of the Lord Buddha are considered as the main attractions of the monastery.
Shasur Gompa: Shashur Gompa monastery is dedicated to a Zanskari Lama. Chortens, bells, conventional paintings and flags make the monastery appear even more beautiful. Devil dance is performed by the colorfully dressed monks during the month of June-July.

Ancient Fort at Gondla: This is an eight storied Fort built in 1700 AD built on the banks of River 
Chandra. The Thakur of Gondla resides in this magnificent fort.The village is populated with Lamas and they have an annual fair in the village in July every year.The foert is located 18 kms. from Keylong. The Gompas in the village have historical significance.

Tayul Monastery: The oldest monastery in the valley is 6 kms. away from Keylong. There is a huge library and a big statue of Guru Padmasambhava. The English equivalent of the word’ Ta-yul’  is’ the chosen place

Hadimba Devi Temple: Manali has many attractions but the main centre of interest, historically and archeologically, is undoubtedly the Hadimba Temple. This temple dedicated to goddess Hadimba or Hadimba Devi with a finely wrought four - tiered pagoda roof, dating back to 1553, is built around a natural cave, which enshrines the footprints of the goddess Hadimba. Hadimba was the wife of Bhima, one of the five great Pandava brothers of the Mahabharata, and later became the patron goddess of the Kullu. This four story wooden temple is located in the middle of a forest called the Dhungiri Van Vihar.

Monastries: Manali also houses three Tibetan monasteries, that have been built recently. There are three recently built Tibetan monasteries at Manali. The Tibetans living around these Monasteries in Manali offer a vide range of Tibetan Handicrafts and Carpets to the visitors to buy. Two of these Monasteries are located in the main down-town of Manali and one Monastery in Aleo. Aleo is located on the Left Bank of River Beas in Manali.

Solang Valley: Solang Valley in Manali is located at a distance of 13 kms in a side valley at the top of the Kullu valley is a splendid valley between Solang village and Beas Kund. Solang valley offers the view of glaciers and snow capped mountains and peaks. Solang Valley has fine ski slopes. The Mountaineering Institute of Manali has installed a ski lift for training purpose. Located here is a hut and guest house of the Mountaineering and Allied sports Institute, Manali. Now a few hotels have also come up. The winter skiing festival is organised in Solang Valley. Sking and Paragliding are two main activities are organised here. Apart from this many other adventure sports are available like Zorbing, Horse riding & Snow Motor Bikes riding etc.

Rohtang Pass: Rohtang Pass is 51 kms from Manali. Located at a height of 3980 Mtrs, on highway to Keylong/Leh. The Pass offers a panorama and spectacular mountain view. once served as a crucial trade route, and still remains the gateway to the districts of Lahaul and Spiti.The Pass is open from mid April to November each year, and provides wonderful views of the entire surroundings. Just beyond the Pass is the Sonapani Glacier and the twin peak of Gaypan. The Beas Kund, the source of the Beas river, a holy site for Hindus, as the sage Vyas is said to have meditated at this spot, is also accessible from the Rohtang Pass.

Situated at an altitude of 3360 metres, this is a camping ground for trekkers. It is 24 kms. from Keylong on the Leh road.

The one of famous place place in Keylong.This is in a house owned by Shri. Nawang Dorje. Permission is required to visit the temple.

It is situated in the Pin Valley at an altitude of 12000 feet and the home of endangered species, Himalayan Ibex, Snow leopard, Blue sheep and Lynx.

 Vashist, a small village 3 kms from Manali located on the Left Bank of River Beas in Manali towards Rohtang pass is worth a visit, which is renowned for its Hot Water Springs and Temple. The village is also the site of some old temples, dedicated to the great sage Vashisht, and to Lord Rama. The Himachal Tourism sulphur baths are just beyond these shrines. Natural Hot Sulphur Water Springs with two separate bathing tanks for Gents and Ladies, which are always full of tourists. Turkish Style Showers fitted baths have also been built nearby. Hot water from the nearby Spring is provided for bathing.

The one time capital of Kullu. Here are old temples dedicated to Lord Shiva and to Sandhya Gayatri. The Arjun caves are just ahead.
