Start the tour from Chandigarh and proceed for Manali. It is around 310 km and take 7-8 Hours to Complete Journey. The journey is too long so we will break journey at Mandi. Have lunch and some rest there, proceed to Manali. After arrival check into hotel and overnight stay.

Day 01: Food

After breakfast visit some local sightseeing of Manali like Hadimba Devi temple, Rahalla Falls, Monastries , Gompa, Vashisht Temple, Manu temple and Solang Valley. In Between your visit have lunch at casa Bella Vista and some rest there. After that came back to hotel and overnight stay at hotel.

Hadimba Devi Temple: Manali has many attractions but the main centre of interest, historically and archeologically, is undoubtedly the Hadimba Temple. This temple dedicated to goddess Hadimba or Hadimba Devi with a finely wrought four - tiered pagoda roof, dating back to 1553, is built around a natural cave, which enshrines the footprints of the goddess Hadimba. Hadimba was the wife of Bhima, one of the five great Pandava brothers of the Mahabharata, and later became the patron goddess of the Kullu. This four story wooden temple is located in the middle of a forest called the Dhungiri Van Vihar.

Monastries: Manali also houses three Tibetan monasteries, that have been built recently. There are three recently built Tibetan monasteries at Manali. The Tibetans living around these Monasteries in Manali offer a vide range of Tibetan Handicrafts and Carpets to the visitors to buy. Two of these Monasteries are located in the main down-town of Manali and one Monastery in Aleo. Aleo is located on the Left Bank of River Beas in Manali.

Khardang Gompa: The Khardang Monastery or Khardang Gompa reflects the traditional culture and art of the region. Located at an altitude of 3500m, the monastery gives a picturesque view of the natural surrounding region. The building also has a library where one can find Buddhist literature, as well as Kangyur and Tangyur scriptures. Thankas and musical instruments like drums, horns as well as huge statues of the Lord Buddha are considered as the main attractions of the monastery.

Shasur Gompa: Shashur Gompa monastery is dedicated to a Zanskari Lama. Chortens, bells, conventional paintings and flags make the monastery appear even more beautiful. Devil dance is performed by the colorfully dressed monks during the month of June-July.

Ancient Fort at Gondla: This is an eight storied Fort built in 1700 AD built on the banks of River 
Chandra. The Thakur of Gondla resides in this magnificent fort.The village is populated with Lamas and they have an annual fair in the village in July every year.The foert is located 18 kms. from Keylong. The Gompas in the village have historical significance.

Tayul Monastery: The oldest monastery in the valley is 6 kms. away from Keylong. There is a huge library and a big statue of Guru Padmasambhava. The English equivalent of the word’ Ta-yul’  is’ the chosen place

Likir: Monastry: The Likir monastery stand 6 km north of the main Leh -Srinagar highway, a little before the village of Saspol. The monastery was enclosed by the bodies of the two great serpent spirits or the naga- rajas, Nanda and Taksako. Because of this, the name of the monastery became Likir or the Naga encircled. Initially, the monastery was associated with the Kadampa sect, however, the year 1470 saw a conversion by a central Tibetan monk Lawang Lotos.

Lamayuru Monastery:  It is Also known as Yung-Drung, this monastery is home to more than 150 monks and houses a rich collection of artifacts, wall paintings, thangas, statues, carpets and an impressive 11-headed, 1000 eyed image of Chenzing. Apart from the monastery, Lamayuru also attracts tourists for its beautiful landscape which is quite similar to the lunar territory.

Alchi Monastery: Alchi Choskor monastery is located approximately 69 kms towards the Western side of the main city of Leh. It is popular in the form of largest of all the gompas built that were built by Lotsava Rinchen Zangpo. He had ordered four families to take care of Choskor, as there was no monastic communities present during the 15th century. The monastery complex consists of comprises of Assembly Hall (Dukhang), Sumtsek Lhakhang, 3-storied temple, the Lhakhang Soma (New Temple), the Munjushri Temple (Jamyang Lhakhang), Translator Temple (Lotsava Lhakhang) and Kangur Lhakhang.
Hall of The Fame: The Hall of Fame, located near the Leh Airfiled, is a museum constructed as well as maintained by the Indian Army in the memory of the soldiers who had lost their lives during the Indo-Pak wars. It is also termed as a memorial for the war heros. It explores the information about brave soliders.

Pongong Lake: Pangong Tso, Tibetan for "high grassland lake", also referred to as Pangong Lake, is an endorheic lake in the Himalayas situated at a height of about 4,350 m. It is 134 km long and extends from India to China. The journey begins at Thiksey village, which is famous for its huge monasteries covering an entire mountain.

To the northwest of Nubra valley, lies The Sasser Pass and the famous Karakoram Pass of the 'Silk Route' fame which connect Nubra with Xinjiang. Khardungla Pass:  ‘Khardung La’ is located on the Ladakh range which is 40 km from Leh.  It is positioned at an altitude of 18,379 ft. and is also known as the ‘Pass of Lower Castle’. The place offers amazing picturesque and attractive views of valleys. In addition, Tibetan prayer flags add numerous colors to the scenic beauty.

Deskit Monastry: Deskit Gompa is located 150 km north of Leh city, the capital city of Ladakh on a hill, just above the flood plains of the Shayok River in Diskit village more than 10000 ft above sea level. Khalsar is a small town agead of Khardung La from where a left turn would take you to Diskit while the right turn leads to Panamik. The monastery founded by Changzem Tserab Zangpo, a disciple of Tsong Khapa, founder of Gelugpa (Yellow Hat) sect of Tibetan Buddhism. This is the oldest and the second largest Buddhist monastery in Ladakh after Thiksey monastery.

Vashist, a small village 3 kms from Manali located on the Left Bank of River Beas in Manali towards Rohtang pass is worth a visit, which is renowned for its Hot Water Springs and Temple. The village is also the site of some old temples, dedicated to the great sage Vashisht, and to Lord Rama. The Himachal Tourism sulphur baths are just beyond these shrines. Natural Hot Sulphur Water Springs with two separate bathing tanks for Gents and Ladies, which are always full of tourists. Turkish Style Showers fitted baths have also been built nearby. Hot water from the nearby Spring is provided for bathing.

The one time capital of Kullu. Here are old temples dedicated to Lord Shiva and to Sandhya Gayatri. The Arjun caves are just ahead.

 It is 51 kms from Manali. Located at a height of 3980 m, the Pass once served as a crucial trade route, and still remains the gateway to the districts of Lahaul and Spiti.The Pass is open from June to November each year, and provides wonderful views of the entire surroundings. Just beyond the Pass is the Sonapani Glacier and the twin peak of Gaypan. The Beas Kund, the source of the Beas river, a holy site for Hindus, as the sage Vyas is said to have meditated at this spot, is also accessible from the Rohtang Pass.

Solang Valley in Manali is located at a distance of 13 kms in a side valley at the top of the Kullu valley is a splendid valley between Solang village and Beas Kund. Solang valley offers the view of glaciers and snow capped mountains and peaks. Solang Valley has fine ski slopes. The Mountaineering Institute of Manali has installed a ski lift for training purpose. Located here is a hut and guest house of the Mountaineering and Allied sports Institute, Manali. Now a few hotels have also come up. The winter skiing festival is organised in Solang Valley. Sking and Paragliding are two main activities are organised here. Apart from this many other adventure sports are available like Zorbing, Horse riding & Snow Motor Bikes riding etc.

Situated at an altitude of 3360 metres, this is a camping ground for trekkers. It is 24 kms. from Keylong on the Leh road.

The another famous and religious place in Leh Is Pathat Sahib Gurudwara. It is very beautiful and it was created in memory of the founder of Sikh religion and the first guru , Guru Nanak Dev ji. Gurudwara Pathar Sahib is also worshipped by Buddhists. Tibetan Buddhists venerate Guru Nanak as Guru Gompka Maharaj and as Nanak Lama.
