Beas Kund: Beas Kund is one of the most beautiful short trek in Himachal Pradesh. From Solang Nallah, the route winds through the famous Solang Valley. The meadows of Dhundi & Bakarthach are spectacular in its beauty. As you climb higher you reach the origin of River Beas. A small glacial lake is feeded by the melting snow of the higher peaks of the region. It is an ideal base camp for climbing nearby peaks Shitidhar and Ladakhi peak. The West side of Beas Kund is magnificent peak of Hanuman Tibba at an altitude of 5990 m, which access through tiny pass of above this lake.
Hadimba Temple: Hadimba Temple Manali is an ancient cave temple dedicated to Hadimba Devi, who was a character in the Indian epic, Mahabharata. The temple is surrounded by a cedar forest at the foot of the Himalayas.
Rahalla Falls: Rahalla waterfalls are an aftereffect of the dribbling of water from precipitous rocks and imposing glaciers. It exhibits the exceptional beauty of the environment around. The entire area is bounded with the thick deodar forest, and lofty birch trees, which creates an unspoiled and pungent atmosphere. The amazing spectacle of a cascade in the backdrop of magnificent snow clad mountain peaks is really worthy for a watch and offers a wonderful experience that one cannot forget for a lifetime.

Tibetan Monasteries Manali: Manali is known for its shiny gompas or Buddhist monasteries. It is maintained by donations from the local community and by sale of hand-woven carpets in the temple workshop.
Gompa: Gelukpa Cultural Society Gompa: This Gompa has a prayer room crammed with statues of bodhisattvas, revered lamas and Buddhist deities. There’s also a small workshop producing Tibetan carpets.
Vashisht Temple Manali: Vashisht village is a green patch of steep hill hanging at the base on a cliff. The village is 6 km from Manali at the banks of the Beas River opposite Old Manali. The village of Vashisht was named after Rishi Vashisht one of the seven sages of Hindu. According to the legend, Rishi Vashisht was left depressed on finding out that his children had been killed by Vishwamitra. The water from this spring is believed to have great healing powers, which can cure many skin diseases and other infections. There are Turkish-style bath houses available here that contain the hot water from the springs, which are used to take bath and enjoy the warmth of the place in privacy.
Manu temple: This magnificent temple is dedicated to the sage Manu, who is said to be the creator of the world and the writer of Manusmriti. The Manu Temple is located in old Manali, at a distance of three kilometers from the main market. The temple is one of the prime attractions in Manali and is believed to be the same place where sage Manu meditated after stepping on earth.

Day 03: Manali- Rohtang Pass Snow Point (Gulaba) - Solang valley
After breakfast visit to explore some important spot of Manali where tourist specially wants to visit for fun and adventure activities. Half day excursion to Snow point (51 Km and at 3979 mtrs altitude) - the gateway to "Lahaul-Spiti valley. It affords a wide panoramic view of the mountains. Solang Valley: Solang Valley is a beautiful valley with enchanting views of snow capped mountains, thick conifer forest, lush green meadows and a meandering river. It is host to a spectrum of adventure activities. The valley is also blessed with a natural ice Shivling which forms in winter and remains till late summer at Anjani Mahadev. The winter skiing festival is organized here as well as training in skiing is imparted at this place. Solang Valley is also known as Snow Point is 13 km northwest of Manali and famous for its 300-meter ski lift. The Ski Lift ticket is Rs. 400 per head. It is a picturesque spot and offers splendid views of glaciers and the snow-capped mountains.
Rohtang Pass: One of the prime attractions for tourists is Rohtang la (pass).Rohtang Pass is located at an altitude of 13,054 ft, 53 kms away from Manali on Manali -Leh highway in Northern India. It serves as the gateway to Lahaul and Spiti valleys in Himachal Pradesh. The Rohtang Pass is situated on the Pir Panjal Mountain Range of the Himalayas.Besides Lahaul and Spiti, Rohtang Pass also serves as the gateway to Pangi and Ladakh region. Like the Zojila Pass, Rohtang also serves as the gateway to Ladakh.

Jakhu Hanumna Temple: This temple of Lord Hanuman, the most faithful aide to Lord Rama is located in the thick forests of Jakhu hills. The devotees need to cover a steep hill trek of around 2 kms to reach the temple which is 2.5 km from the Ridge and offers beautiful views of the Shivalik Mountains and the nearby town of Sanjauli. It is the highest peak in Shimla and gives shelter to countless playful monkeys which can be found waiting to be fed by visitor
Shimla church: Christ Church Shimla is the second oldest church in North India, after St John's Church in Meerut. It was consecrated on 10th January 1857 by Bishop Wilson of Calcutta. Built in Neo-Gothic style of architecture, other impressive features of the Church include paintings that portray scenes from Jesus Christ’s life. As it is located at the most prominent road of Shimla, The Ridge, it has become an important landmark in the city.

Places to visit in Shimla
Shimla Ridge: the town spills downwards, with winding roads linking up settlements and stone steps connecting each layer. The Cart Road encircles the base of the main settlement, and is the highest motor able road of Shimla. The Mall is open only to pedestrians. There is a lift run by the Himachal Tourist Department that connects the railway stations and Cart Road to the Mall.
The Mall Shimla: The Mall Shimla is the main attraction in Shimla, lined with shops selling woolen garments and shawls, handicrafts, departmental stores, eateries and old colonial timber houses. There is a palpable change of character from the times when the Mall was strictly out of bounds for all natives except royalty, to the Indian crowds that walk down it today.
Christ Church: At the eastern edge of the Ridge is the famous Christ Church, which was consecrated in 1857. It is a prominent yellow painted building with a Victorian-Gothic spire. In the church some of the finest stained glass windows in India depict faith, hope, charity, fortitude, patience, and humility.
Tudor Library: Nearby to the church is the mock- Tudor Library, which was built in 1910.
Scandal Point: On the other extreme of the Ridge is the Scandal Point. A statue of the Lala Lajpat Rai dominates the place and groups of local people gather here in the afternoon for some casual chit-a-chat. The temple of Kali Bari is nearby to the Scandal Point enshrines the idol of Shyamla Devi, the presiding deity of Shimla. Town Hall reminds of the colonial past of Shimla, the timber lined General Post Office and the old Gaiety Theatre remind of teh British Era. This popular hall was home to the Shimla Amateur Dramatic Society, complete with a gentlemen’s club where the discussion veered around the noble pursuit of cricket and horse racing.
St. Michael’s Cathedral/ Shimla church: The other important church, St. Michael’s Cathedral, which is built like a cruciform, is just off the Mall. Vice Regal Lodge, now known as the Rashtrapati Niwas (President’s House) is the most impressive colonial edifice of Shimla, located on the top of Observatory Hill, this Elizabethan mansion was built in 1888 for Lord Differing. It now houses the Institute of Advanced Studies, and is open only in some parts to the public.
Chandigarh to Shimla Taxi
Chandigarh to Shimla distance by car is about 113 km and it takes 4.5 Hours to reach. The Chandigarh Shimla route is a national highway number 22 and well maintained, so don’t worry about road. In between the Chandigarh Shimla route visitors comes across Pinjore, Kalka, Parwanoo, Koti, Jabli, Sanwara, Dharampur, Kumarhatti, and then to bypass solan, Chambaghat, Kandaghat, Shogi, Taradevi, and then the final destination, the hill Queen Shimla.

It serves as the gateway to Lahaul and Spiti valleys in Himachal Pradesh. The name Rohtang is derived from Tibetan language meaning ‘a heap of dead bodies’ due to the number of people who lost their lives trying to cross it in the past.
The Rohtang Pass is situated on the Pir Panjal Mountain Range of the Himalayas. Besides Lahaul and Spiti, Rohtang Pass also serves as the gateway to Pangi and Ladakh region. Like the Zojila Pass, Rohtang also serves as the gateway to Ladakh.

Tibetan Monasteries Manali: Manali is known for its shiny gompas or Buddhist monasteries. It is maintained by donations from the local community and by sale of hand-woven carpets in the temple workshop.
Gompa: Gelukpa Cultural Society Gompa: This Gompa has a prayer room crammed with statues of bodhisattvas, revered lamas and Buddhist deities. There’s also a small workshop producing Tibetan carpets.
Vashisht Temple Manali: Vashisht village is a green patch of steep hill hanging at the base on a cliff. The village is 6 km from Manali at the banks of the Beas River opposite Old Manali. The village of Vashisht was named after Rishi Vashisht one of the seven sages of Hindu. According to the legend, Rishi Vashisht was left depressed on finding out that his children had been killed by Vishwamitra. The water from this spring is believed to have great healing powers, which can cure many skin diseases and other infections. There are Turkish-style bath houses available here that contain the hot water from the springs, which are used to take bath and enjoy the warmth of the place in privacy.
Manu temple: This magnificent temple is dedicated to the sage Manu, who is said to be the creator of the world and the writer of Manusmriti. The Manu Temple is located in old Manali, at a distance of three kilometers from the main market. The temple is one of the prime attractions in Manali and is believed to be the same place where sage Manu meditated after stepping on earth.
Solang Valley: Solang Valley is a beautiful valley with enchanting views of snow capped mountains, thick conifer forest, lush green meadows and a meandering river. It is host to a spectrum of adventure activities. The valley is also blessed with a natural ice Shivling which forms in winter and remains till late summer at Anjani Mahadev. The winter skiing festival is organized here as well as training in skiing is imparted at this place. Solang Valley is also known as Snow Point is 13 km northwest of Manali and famous for its 300-meter ski lift. The Ski Lift ticket is Rs. 400 per head. It is a picturesque spot and offers splendid views of glaciers and the snow-capped mountains.
Rohtang Pass: One of the prime attraction for tourists is Rohtang la ( pass).Rohtang Pass is located at an altitude of 13,054 ft, 53 kms away from Manali on Manali -Leh highway in Northern India.It serves as the gateway to Lahaul and Spiti valleys in Himachal Pradesh. The Rohtang Pass is situated on the Pir Panjal Mountain Range of the Himalayas. Besides Lahaul and Spiti, Rohtang Pass also serves as the gateway to Pangi and Ladakh region. Like the Zojila Pass, Rohtang also serves as the gateway to Ladakh.

Day 2: Parwanoo to Shimla & Local Seeing & Kufri Visit
After breakfast at Parwanoo Heights hotel, proceed to Shimla which approx 4 hours drive. Enroute visit Timber Trail. Reach Shimla by Late Afternoon. Check into the hotel & evening at your leisure. Visit Mall Road in the eveneing & also Ridge to enjoy the shimla view & crowd.
Day 3: Shimla Local Seeing & Kufri Visit
Today proceed for half day excursion to Kufri (2500mts). Visit Indira Bungalow & the Himalayan Zoo (closed on Monday). Incase, a Monday falls on this day, guests would be taken to Naldhera Golf course instead of Kufri. (Pony ride charges to be paid directly)
In the Afternoon, Visit Scandal Point & Shimla Church.

Day 4: Shimla to Manali Drive (approx 280 Kms |6-7 hrs)
