Start the tour from Mumbai Airport / Railway station and drive to Mahabaleshwar. It is around 270km and take 5-6 hours to arrive. The Journey is too long so we will break journey at Aman Resturant. Have lunch and some rest there. Upon arrival visit some local sightseeing of Mahabaleshwar like Lingmala Waterfalls, Old Mahabaleshwar Temple and Aurther’s Seat. After that check into hotel, rest of the day is for your leisure and overnight stay at Hotel.  

Lingmala Waterfalls: Mahabaleshwar is home to some extremely charming waterfalls. The Lingmala Falls atop the Venna Valley is extremely picturesque as the water cascades down almost 600 ft.

Mahabaleshwar Temple: Mahabaleshwar Temple is one of the famous Hindu temples devoted to Lord Shiva. Girdled by a five feet tall stone wall on its sides, the temple is divided into two sections i.e. a central hall and a God chamber. A lingam (black stone) is worshiped in the temple, which is regarded as the sign of the Divinity. The town is said to derive its name from Lord Mahabali or Shiva, who is shown here as a self-made lingam in the shape of a rudraksha seed. It is also believed that a spring flows below the shivling.

Wilson Point: It is the most famous verdure surroundings out of 30 major lookout points of Mahabaleshwar, which offer scenic view of the whole landscape. Situated at an altitude of 1438 m (4710 ft), Wilson point also known as the Sunrise Point is the highest point of the place. Table Land: This is flatland adorned with a carpet of grass spread over the vast area of around 100 acres. Early winters are a good season to visit Table Land since the monsoon grass is still there and the land is not slippery, the way it is in rainy season. There is also enough entertainment in the form of horse riding, merry go rounds, mini trains etc. for kids.

Kate's Point: Around 15 km outside Panchgani, on the way to Mahabaleshwar, you see a huge rock overlooking the Krishna valley - that is Kate's point. The point gives a great view of the valley and waters of Dhom Dam and Balakwadi.

Arthur's seat: Aurther’s seat or Suicide point is also known as the Queen of all points. It offers the most mesmerizing and fascinating view of the dense valleys of Brahma-Arayana and the Savitri river. The point is a huge table that stands on a natural pillar. On the way up, one can also see window point and Tiger's spring.

From the respective airports one can hire a taxi or avail the bus service to get to Mahabaleshwar.

By Rail: You can reach Mahabaleshwar via rail too. The nearest railhead is Satara, at a distance of 47km. There is another railhead located at Wathar (60 kms). One can reach Mahabaleshwar via Pune (120 kms) as it boasts of an efficient rail network. Get off at the railway station and catch a taxi for Mahabaleshwar.
