Upon your arrival at Jabalpur railway station/airport our representative will meet you & assists your tour plan at the railway station/airport and then drive straight to Kanha National Park. On arrival at Kanha check-in to the Kanha Earth Lodge. After taking some rest, take hot lunch at the restaurant. Evening Nature walk & Tribal village visit of Kanha National park. Dinner & stay overnight at resort.

Your will get awake with an early morning wake call at 4:30 AM. Time to leave for the Gypsy Safari by 5:30 AM with a target to reach the gates by 6:00 AM. You will be served with a cup of tea before departure for your first jungle safari to the Kanha national park. The morning safari has a unique charm and ensures goof sittings of animals as well as fresh jungle life flora and fauna. Breakfast will be served at 9:00 AM in the Jungle Camp, followed by another round of tour till 11:00 AM. After morning safari return to the resort for rest and Lunch..

After lunch we will again depart on Afternoon Gypsy Safari to Kanha National Park for wildlife viewing. Afternoon safari starts from the gate at 03:00 PM and continues till sunset. Afternoon safari has a distinct charm as most of the animals come to water holes for water, Afternoon safari can make up if you lost ant chances in morning safari.

During both safari's Forest Guide cum spotter also joins from the entru gate.

Return to the resort by late evening.

In the evening, Wildlife Documentary show on kanha and its Tigers as well as flora, Fauna. Also discussion on sustainable tourism in Kanha. Spend time in the library.

When to visit Kanha National Park

The park is open daily from 15th of October to 30th June. The opening hours are scheduled to accord roughly with the seasonla variations in climate, as well as with the length of the day at different seasons. There is always a mid - day break, so that employees may eat lunch and rest and the animals may have respite too, The opening timing for Kanha National Park is :

Baiga :- Baiga is a tribe found in Madhya Pradesh and population 250,000, Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand states of India. The Baigas mainly live in dense forest and hilly regions of Mandla, Dindori, Shahadol, Umaria, Balaghat and Amarkantak in Madhya Pradesh. They are considered as an offshoot of the Bhumias of Chhota Nagpur. They have sub-castes – Bijhwar, Narotia, Bharotiya, Nahar, Rai Bhaina, and Kadh Bhaina. Their population as of Census 2001/2011 was 390,000.

Bheel :- The term Bhil is probably derived from “Bil”, a Dravidian term used for a bow. There is a saying in Sanskrit- Bhidanti Iti Bhillah”, which means a Bhil is the one who pierces. Bhil is the third largest tribe of India. They are spread in Madhya Pradesh, Gujrat, Rajsthan and Maharashtra. In Madhya Pradesh they mainly live in Jhabua, Thandla, Petalawad, Alirajpur, Jobat, Narkundi, Bag, Chhota Udaipur, Dhar, Barwani, Khargone, Talod, Shahada, Sirpur, Amjhera and Ratlam areas. Gond :- The term Gond is considered a corrupt form of Kond. In Telugu Kond means a forest covered mountain. Gond is an important and the largest tribe of India. Madhaya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh have their largest concentrations. Dense population Gond tribes heavily resides in the areas  of Betul, Hoshangabad, Chhindwara, Balaghat, Shahadol, Mandla, Sagar and Damhoh districts of Madhya Pradesh.
