When to visit – winters is the best time to visit here between the months of September and March when the weather is calm and nice. Summers are extremely hot between April and June while during July and August there is heavy rain in monsoons.

Itinerary for UNESCO Heritage Sites tour package in North India

Day 01 :-Arrive Delhi.

Arrive Delhi and get transferred to hotel. Leave for tour of Delhi and visit the Raj Ghat - the cremation sites of Mahatma Gandhi , Jama Masjid followed by Red Fort and Chandni Chowk. In New Delhi visit the Qutub Minar built by Qutub-ud-Din Aibek in 1199, Humayun's Tomb, India Gate (War Memorial Arch ), Lakshminarayan Temple - a modern Hindu Temple. And later visit towards President's House, Parliament House, Government Secretariat Buildings & Connaught Place shopping centre. Overnight stay in Delhi.

Day 02 :-Delhi - Agra

Check out from Delhi hotel and drive to Agra. On reaching visit the world famous Taj Mahal built by the Moghul Emperor Shah jahan in 1630 for his Queen Mumtaz Mahal to make her memories forever live. Later visit the Red Fort containing the Halls of Public and Private Audience known as Divan-e-aam and Divan-e-Khaas. Overnight stay in Agra.

Day 03 :-Agra - Gwalior

Check from hotel after breakfast and drive to Gwalior. Afternoon visit the Man Mandir, Gujari Mahal that today stands as an archaeological museum, Later you’ll be taken to the Fort followed by Temples of Sas-Bahu, Teli Ka Mandir, Jai Vilas Palace, Tomb of Gaus Mohammad & the Mausoleum of Tansen. Overnight stay in Gwalior.

Day 04 :-Gwalior -Khajuraho

Check out from hotel and drive to Khajuraho upon arrival get transferred in Khajuraho hotel. Leave for city tour in afternoon.

The world famous Khajuraho temples were built by the Chandela kings between 950 AD and 1050 AD. The most important are the Chaunset Yogini Temple dedicated to Goddess Kali, The Mahadev Temple, Chitragupta or S Bharatji Temple with a lovely image of 11 headed Vishnu, Vishvanath and Nandi Temples, Lakshmana Temple, Visha Temple of Shiva, which is the largest & most typical of temples.

Visit the Eastern group of temples that consist of the Parasvanath Temple - the only Jain Temple surviving at Khajuraho that has excellent sculptures on the outer walls of the Sanctum, the Javeri Temple dedicated to Vishnu. The other temples in this group are those dedicated to Brahma, Yamuna and Adinath.Return for overnight stay in Khajuraho.

Day 05 :-Khajuraho - Orchha

Check out from hotel in Khajuraho and drive to Orchha, upon arrival get shifted to the hotel and later leave for sightseeing.

Orchha's grandeur has been captured in stone, frozen in time & a rich legacy to the ages. The heritage city consists of many palaces and the temples built by its Bundela rulers in the 16th and 17th century stand today in pristine glory. Overnight stay and dinner in Orchha.

Day 06 :-Orchha - Bhopal

Drive to Bhopal after breakfast and checking out from hotel in Orchha. After some rest visit Bhopal for city tour. You’ll be taken to Upper & Lower Lakes of the Bhopal city followed bytour of Laxmi Narayan Temple, Birla Museum, Kilol Park, Kamla Park, Moti Masjid, Sadar Manzil & Taj-ul-Masjid. Day 07 :- Bhopal - Morning tour Bhimbetka and Sanchi (68 kms from Bhopal)

Leave for excursion to Bhimbetka & Sanchi after breakfast accompanied with a guide.

In Bhimbetka about 700 rock shelters belonging to the neolithic age, have been discovered. Over 500 caves have paintings of pre-historic man.68 kms from Bhopal,

Visit the Stupas with circular domes and railings around them; Ashoka Pillar, Gupta temple built in the 4th century and the Great Bowl carved of one piece of stone. The museum displays number of sculptures found in the area.

Return to hotel for overnight and dinner in Bhopal.

Day 08 :-Bhopal - Ujjain - Indore

Check out from hotel in Bhopal and drive to Indore enroute visiting Ujjain. Ujjain is one of the holiest and oldest Cities of India. Ujjain is famous for its Jyotirlinga shrine at Onkareshwar, it is one of the seven sacred Cities of India. Once in 12 years, the mammoth KUMBH MELA festival is held here. The ancient shrine of Mahakala is among its attraction.

Continue driving for Indore and check in to hotel for overnight and dinner.

Day 09 :-Indore – Mandu - Indore

Today after breakfast leave for excursion of Mandu accompanied with an experience guide. Mandu is also known as city of joy is famed for story of love of King Š Baz Bahadur, for his consort, Rani Rupmati. Originally the capital of the Hindu Parmar Kings in the 13th century it was later captured by the Sultans of Malwa.

Return to Indore for overnight stay and dinner.

Day 10 :- Indore – Delhi

Check out from the hotel and drive for Delhi. Upon reaching your trip shall end.

The Urs festival is an annual festival held at Ajmer which commemorates the death anniversary of the Sufi saint Moinuddin Chishti. It is held over six days and features night-long dhikr/zikr qawwali singing.
