Pick up from Amritsar Airport / Railway station and then you will drive to Dharamshala. After 4:30 hrs of journey check into hotel later visit for local sightseeing of Dharamshala which includes nearby shopping  places and you may stroll for a while. Overnight stay at hotel and delicious dinner with all possible conveniences.

 

In morning after breakfast check out from hotel and visit the famous sightseeing of Dharamshala. Firstly you will visit some local sightseeing like waterfall  Tibetan monasteries, Bhagsunag, Dalai Lama temple, visit Cricket Stadium, War memorial, St. John Church, etc. In evening come back to hotel have Dinner and overnight stay in hotel.

Bhagsu Waterfall: Bhagsu Falls is a beautiful waterfall, situated in the small village of Bhagsu, behind the Bhagsunath Temple. During monsoon, this waterfalls turns into a 30 ft cascade, alongside a mountain that features slate graffiti.

How to reach Palampur

Chamunda devi temple: This temple is dedicated to Goddess Chamunda, offers enchanting views of the Dhauladhar mountains. The Baner Khud which flows alongside the temple, and the Pathian and Lahla forests. Situated in Jadrangal village in Kangra area, the temple is located on the right bank of Baner Khad  which is a tributary of Beas river.

Tashi jong monastery: Tashi Jong in Tibetan means 'Auspicious Valley'. It is  a Buddhist spiritual monument, placed in the monastery along with a wide variety of Tibetan artifacts, paintings and other magnificent articles. The roof of the monastery is curved, mounted with red-golden colored ornamentation which looks like prayer flags. The walls are adorned with paintings, representing the different facets of Tibetan art and culture.

Brijeshwari Temple: Brijeshwari Temple is also known as Vajreshwari Temple, The temple is dedicated to Goddess Parvati or Brajeshwari, who is worshipped here in the form of a Pinid. This spectacular temple was invaded by many times by several extremists and thus, in the intervening years the temple was rebuilt and renovated several times and during the festival of Lohri the temple is decorated with a layer of butter.

Pong Lake Sanctuary: Located at a distance of 36 km from Palampur in Kangra, this sanctuary is one of the perfect instances of preservation of rich flora and fauna and rare species of animals. Situated on the banks of the River Beas, it houses many animals like sambar, nilgai, barking deer, wild boar and leopard, around 220 species of migratory birds and at least 27 varieties of fish. Dhauladhar Trek

Dhauladhar trek, lies on its southern spur in above the Kangra Valley, which divides it from Chamba. The highest peak in the range is the Hanuman ji Ka Tiba, or 'White Mountain', about 5,639 m or 18,500 ft high. There are several peaks which are close to 5,180 m (17,000 ft).

This is a beautiful remote locations and village surrounding the Dhauladhar ranges where one can view the flora and fauna and observe various village lives. You will be walking in the foothills of Dhauladhar Mountains and passing through several remote tribal villages. We make few visits to the family houses in the villages and get to know the local culture and tradition. Dhaualadhar are themselves a mountain range quite apart from any other mountain range in the Himalayas. It is the outer most part of Himalayas. The rock faces of this granite range are so sharply cut that they fail to hold snow for long as a result you see snow in the gullies and on top. During the trek we walk through many Gaddi tribal villages. Gaddi is a semi nomadic shepherd tribe whose main occupation is agriculture and rearing of sheep and goat. Bundla Tea Estate located at 2 km from the town of palampur. This is one of the most beautiful tea estates of Palampur, which covers Bundla, Aima and Lohna Panchayat. The road to Neugal Cafe from the town leads from this estate. The lush green tea gardens are at its best in the monsoon. People can be seen plucking tea from April till October. The old Bundla Tea Estate complex, which is over 200 years old can be seen from the road.
