Manikaran Hot Springs: Manikaran is approx 45 km from Kullu, The spring is situated near the bank of Parvati River. The Manikaran gurudwara, the Sikh shrine, at Manikaran in Himachal, is directly on the swift-flowing Parvati River. They have constructed a tank called the Guru Nanak Ha Har Sarovar and assert, "Continued bathing in this tank can lead to the eradication of a number of diseases related to pain." Warm baths in Manikaran relieve aching muscles and arthritic joints.

Vashishth Hot Spring: Vashisht is 6 km. from Manali located in the Kullu district. Vashisht Hot water springs is another major tourist attraction in Kullu-Manali Himachal. The temperature of the water varies from 110°F to 123°F. Almost 3,000 people take a dip in the tanks every day. A separate tank is also reserved for the females. Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation has built ‘Turkish type baths’ about 500 meters below Vashisht village to tap the spring’s immense curative potential. The hot water is brought through pipe and stored in a huge water tank and then channeled through pipes to the bathrooms of the HPTDC.

Tattapani Hot Spring District Mandi: Located 51 km from Shimla and 29 km from Naldera, Tattapani is a famous tourist resort located in the Mandi district. Located on the right bank of river Satluj, it is nestled at an altitude of 656 meters. This natural spring is pure and has curative power for various bodily ailments. The spring contains the mineral sulphur which contributes to the healing properties. The water level of the spring keeps changing with the fluctuation in the water level of the river. Literary ‘Tatta-pani’ means hot water.

Hot Bath in Lord Badrinath: Below this shrine, in the Garhwal Himalayas, there are two public baths fed by hot springs: one for men and the other, more secluded, for women. They are very popular. In fact many pilgrims believe that if you want Lord badri, the deity of Badrinath, to grant a boon then it's best to bathe in one of the public baths before entering the temple. The water is hot enough to send small spirals of steam up into the chill Himalayan air. The Tourist Bungalow and some of the hotels have standing arrangements with water-carriers to supply water from the sacred hot springs to guests in their bathrooms.

Tapovan Kund at Joshimath: There is a famous public pool at Tapovan, near Joshimath. Here the water is hot, clear and quite odourless. It supposed to have healing properties for broken bones.
