Ladakh Honeymoon Package Itinerary - 8 Days - 7 Nights Tour Package Itinerary

 

Day 01 

Delhi to Leh

Our representative will meet & greet and transfer you  to the Hotel. Welcome drink on arrival. We recommend you completely relax for the rest of the day to enable yourselves to acclimatize to the rarefied air at the high altitude. Lunch & dinner at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 02

 Leh (Full day monasteries tour)
 

Post breakfast at the hotel we will proceed  for full day excursion of Thiksey Monastery and witness the 800 years old Gompa . It is better to visit early morning to see sunrise and praying ceremony. Also visit Hemis Monastery which is one of the biggest in this region. While returning to Leh visit Shey Palace  the 15th Century Summer Palace & Monastery of Leh's Royal Family. Packed lunch will be provided. In the evening return to the hotel for dinner & overnight.

Day 03

Leh (KhardungLa pass – 43 Kms. & City tour of Leh)
 

After breakfast drive to Khardung la, the highest motorable road in the world at 5600 meters. The views from the top of the pass are amazing. This road carries on to the Nubra Valley. Return to the hotel for hot lunch. After lunch we take you for a tour of Leh city visiting Sangkar, Shanti Stupa a Buddhist white-domed stupa on a hilltop in Chanspa,  built by Japanese Buddhist Bhikshu Gyomyo Nakamura , Leh Palace sculpted in the mold of Potala Palace of Lhasa and is located on the Namgyal Hill in Leh. It overlooks Leh and has many cultural influences, dating back to centuries.Leh Palace was the tallest building in the world when it was built in 1553. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 04

Leh to Kargil
 

After breakfast time free till departure. Later check-out and drive to Kargil. On arrival in Kargil check-in at the hotel. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 05

 Kargil – Srinagar (Via Sonmarg). 
 

In the morning after breakfast drive to Srinagar via Sonmarg. Sonmarg - which is one of the most beautiful drive from Srinagar. You may take a pony ride (at your own cost) to Thajiwas Glacier where snow remains round the year.On arrival drop at Houseboat. Welcome drink on arrival. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay & dinner in the houseboat.

Day 06

 Srinagar. 

After breakfast visit the Mughal Gardens, Chashmi-e Shahi (The Royal Spring), Nishat (The Garden of pleasure) & Shalimar Bagh (Abode of Love). In the afternoon enjoy a Shikara ride on the Dal Lake. Overnight stay & dinner in the houseboat/hotel.

Day 07

Srinagar / Gulmarg / Srinagar (112 Kms). 
 

After breakfast full day excursion of Gulmarg - the most beautiful summer resort in the valley. It is popular for its highest golf course and skiing in winters. You can enjoy a pony ride and also enjoy a Gondola ride (cable car) to Kangdogri / Alpatar (at your own cost). Return to the houseboat/hotel by evening for overnight stay.

Day 08

Departure from Srinagar. 
 

After breakfast time free till departure. Transfer by car to Srinagar airport for departure to next destination.
