What to eat

Hyderabad is famous for its non-vegetarian delicacies, Hyderabadi Dum Biryani, Gosht, Hyderabadi Haleem, Mirchi ka Salan etc are really famous here.

4 day/3 night Itinerary for Hyderabad Srisailam Ethipothala waterfalls tour package

Day 1 – Arrive Hyderabad

Arrive at Hyderabad station/airport from where our representatives will pick you and transfer to the hotel for check in, afternoon free to visit the town or shopping. We will visit Golconda Fort in the evening and enjoy sound and light show. Overnight and dinner in hotel.

Day 2 - Hyderabad – Srisailam (233 km/5 hr)

We check out from hotel and drive to Srisailam after breakfast. Srisailam is one of the most important pilgrimage centers of Lord Shiva in India, and it's one of the twelve Jyotirlingas. This village is situated in the Rishabgiri Hills on the banks of River Krishna in Kurnool district of Andhra Pradesh.

After offering prayers in Mallikarjuna Swamy temple we move to Bramaramba devi temple. This temple is named so because you can hear bee whizzing noise when enter the temple.

From here we visit SakshiGanapathi temple located on 1.5 miles away from Srisailam it is believed that the details of devotees visiting Srisailam will be recorded by him and provided as witness to Lord Shiva. From here we visit nearby places like Vitalesvara temple, Shivaji spurthi kendram, Hatakeswaram and Sikhareswaram.

Day 2 – Srisailam – Nagarjunasagar Dam (173 kms/4 hr)

We check out from hotel early morning and  proceed to Akkamahadevi caves located on 11 kms from Srisailam, to reach these caves one has to take a boat ride. From here we continue our drive for Nagarujunasagar dam. In the way we stop at Mallela Tirtham waterfalls that is located in the Nallamala Forest in Andhra Pradesh, India. The River Krishna flows through this forest. It is located around 58 KM from Srisailam, from here we proceed to Nagarjunasagar via Devarkonda. Nagarjuna Sagar Dam is built across Krishna River. It is one of the earliest irrigation and hydro-electric projects in India. The dam has also created one of the largest man-made lakes in the world. Nagarjuna Sagar also offers picturesque surroundings and exquisite natural sceneries to the visitors.

Day 3 – Nagarjuna Sagar – Euthopothila waterfalls (11 kms)

We start early morning from Nagarjuna Sagar and drive towards Ethipothila Waterfalls. Ethipothala Falls is a 70 feet (21 m) high river cascade, situated on the Chandravanka river, a tributary of the River Krishna. Ethipothala is also famous for a crocodile breeding centre where you can get a fascinating glimpse of these reptiles from close quarters and observe their behavior in their natural habitat.

We spend the day at these waterfalls and surrounding areas after which we leave for Hyderabad by road for overnight and dinner.

Day 4

Our trip ends at Hyderabad, you’ll be dropped at Railway Station/Airport for your further journey.
