Day 01: Arrive at Delhi
Pick up from Delhi Airport and proceed to hotel, New Delhi: designed and built by the British in the 1920's it's a city of wide boulevards impressive Government buildings, green parks and gardens. First you will visit two monuments from’s past Humayun's Tomb and Qutub Minar. Then your drive takes you along the ceremonial avenue, Rajpath, past the imposing India Gate and Akshar Dham. Overnight stay at Delhi.
Day 02: Delhi sightseeing
After breakfast you visit Delhi sightseeing like, Jama Masjid, Lotus Temple, Jantar Mantar and Red fort, after that back to hotel. Overnight stay at Delhi
Red Fort: Home to Mughal Emperors for nearly 200 years, the Red Fort or Lal Kila was converted to barracks for the British colonial army. The iconic landmark recognized by its red sandstone architecture has a rich set of stories dating back to India's pre-independence era. This massive time-tested fortress today is the backdrop for large scale national events such as the Republic Day and Independence Day.
Jama Masijd: India's largest mosque, Jama Masijd a sight to behold is definitely among the places to visit in Delhi. The magnum opus mosque constructed by Mughal ruler Shah Jahan stands tall at 40 ft with 4 angles, 2 minarets and can contain 25,000 devotees.
Jantar Mantar: Among most popular places to visit in Delhi is the Jantar Mantar, an ancient observatory built by Maharaja Jaisingh of Udaipur in 1794 on the main Parliament Street at Connaught Place. The instruments at Jantar Mantar are undoubtedly fascinating for their ingenuity however the high-rise buildings around have obstructed accurate observations.
Bahai (Lotus) Temple: The ever-popular lotus-shaped Bahai Temple in Delhi is the last of the seven major Bahai temples around the world. A mesmerizing structure made of pure white marble, standing against a lush green landscape, the lotus depicts a symbol common to all religions.
Day 03: Delhi - Agra (210 km / 3.5 hours)
After morning breakfast proceed to Agra check in the hotel. In the afternoon reach and check in at your hotel. Then proceed for the city sightseeing tour visiting The Taj Mahal, which is entirely made of white marble and its walls are decorated with exquisite pietra dura (precious and semi precious stone inlay) work. Also visit Agra Fort (also called the Red Fort), which retains the irregular outline of the demolished mud-wall fort of the Lodis Then back to hotel and overnight .
Day 04: Agra – Jaipur via FATHEPURSIKRI sightseeing (240 km / 4.5 hours)
After morning breakfast proceed check out for hotel and drive to Jaipur on the way visit Fatehpur Sikri - built in Red Sandstone in honor of Saint Salim Chisti, who foretold the birth of 3 sons to emperor Akbar, an example of robust stability combined with originality each important edifice here represents a type by itself. Notable among them is the Diwane Khas, Punch Mahal, The Tomb of Salim Chisti, and the Buland Darwaza, then continue drive to Jaipur and check into hotel. and overnight at Jaipur.
Day 05: Jaipur Sightseeing
After breakfast start exploring the Pink City and Cover Amber Fort, Jaigarh Fort, Jal Mahal, City Palace and Jantar Mantar, in the evening enjoy the beauty of Hawa Mahal, and visit Pink city local market, Later back to hotel and overnight stay.
Amber Fort Palace - Amber is the classic romantic Rajasthani fort palace. Its construction was started by Man Singh I in 1592, and completed by his descendent Jai Singh I. Its forbidding exterior belies an inner paradise where a beautiful fusion of Mughal and Hindu styles finds it's ultimate expression. Continue sight- seeing.
City Palace - A delightful blend of Mughal and traditional Rajasthani architecture, the City Palace sprawls over one-seventh of the area in the walled city. It houses the Chandra Mahal, Shri Govind Dev Temple and the City Palace Museum.
Jantar Mantar- This is the largest and the best preserved of the five observatories built by Jai Singh II in different parts of the country. This observatory consisting of outsized astronomical instruments is still in use. HAWA MAHAL- The ornamental facade of this "Palace of Winds" is a prominent landmark in Jaipur. Their five-storey structures of sandstone plastered pink encrusted with fine trelliswork and elaborate balconies. The palace has 953 niches and windows. Built in 1799 by Pratap Singh, the Mahal was a royal grandstand for the palace women. Night stay in Jaipur.
Day 06: Jaipur - Cochin (By flight, 5 Hour via Mumbai)
Morning transfer to airport to board flight for Cochin. Arrive Cochin - is a vibrant city situated on the south-west coast of the Indian peninsula in the breathtakingly scenic and prosperous state of Kerala, hailed as 'God's Own Country'. Night stay in Cochin.
Day 07: Cochin - Thekkady ( By road approx 150 kms / 3 hours )
After breakfast at hotel, check out and proceed to thekkady. on arrival by noon, check into hotel, the most renowned destination is the periyar wildlife sanctuary at thekkady. here is the natural habitat of elephant, tiger, bison, spotted and samba deer, gaur, etc. the sanctuary is open throughout the year. later proceed for half day sightseeing tour at thekkady; visit includes spice plantations & spice market etc, evening game viewing by motorized boat at periyar lake (on your cost) & overnight thekkady.
Day 08: Thekkady - Alleppey ( By road approx 140kms / 3 hours)
Travel to Alleppey the Venice of the East and there awaits the fun of real backwater cruise in a houseboat with all meals on board. Enjoy the backwater cruise of Kuttanad backwaters, small villages surrounded by backwaters and much more. Overnight stay in the houseboat which has a well furnished bedroom with attached bath.
Day 09: Alleppey - Kovalam ( By road approx 160kms / 03hrs )
Breakfast at houseboat, driver will receive you at alleppey jetty for transfer to kovalam, upon arrival here check into hotel, rest of the day at leisure to enjoy beach activities, overnight poovar / kovalam.
Day 10: Kovalam
Breakfast at hotel, proceed for full day excursion to trivandrum to visit sri padmanabha temple, veli tourist village, sree chithira art gallery, zoos & finally kathakkali performance, overnight stay at kovalam
Day 11: Kovalam - Trivandrum ( By road approx 15kms /30 minutes)- Departure
After breakfast, then transfer to Trivandrum airport to board the onward flight.
