Anjuna Beach:   The beach is famous for its stunning natural beauty with swaying palms trees and soft powered white sands. The beach is marked by an unusual rocky formation overlying a cove of white sand and black rock that juts out into the Sea. This area was known as the Jewel of Anjuna and called "Ozran". Anjuna beach is a favorite haunt of the hippies who used to organize the famous rave beach parties.  Anjuna Beach is also an ideal place for full-moon parties held especially during Christmas and New Year. Vagator Beach: Vagator Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in north Goa. It is located in Bardez taluk of Goa about 21 km northwest of PanajiLocated away from the other touristy places in Goa, Vagator is clean and quiet. Vagator is split into two as it is separated by a headland. When you stand on the headland facing the sea, the beach on your right is the Big Vagator Beach or North Vagator Beach and the beach on the left is Ozran Beach which is popularly known as Little Vagator Beach The beach is also an excellent place to have a picnic without disturbance while you enjoy the sunset. Dona Paula: Dona Paula is a famous tourist destination and former village in the suburbs of Panaji, Goa. Initially called Oddavell, the villagers decided to rename the village as Dona Paula after Paula Amaral Antonio de Souto Maior, a historical figure in Portuguese India. She was the daughter of the Portuguese Viceroy of Jaffnapatnam, in Sri Lanka. She and her family arrived in Goa in 1644 and she married a Fidalgo from Spain in 1656. Dona Paula was a woman of charity and is known to have helped the villagers and worked a lot for their betterment.
