Europe Summer Vacation Tour - Itinerary

Day 01 - Reach Paris -  France

We begin the tour with the romantic city of France. After being greeted at the Paris airport, you will be transferred to your hotel where you can check in and freshen up to visit the fashion capital. After covering major attractions in Paris which include Arc de Triomphe, Opera House, Champs Elysees and many other attractions, we will move to the tour’s highlight Eiffel Tower. After viewing the panoramic view of the city and the lightings on the structure, we will proceed for a delicious romantic dinner at an Indian restaurant.

Day 02 - Paris Disney Tour

We begin the day with continental breakfast. This day is free for you to explore the city on your own. But if you have kids or if you would like to meet the Disney characters, you can opt for Disneyland tour. It is completely optional and depends on your personal interests. Alternatively, spend a day at Museum de Louvre or Disney Studios. Shopping perfumes and some designer collections is any pass time which can cost you some money. We end the day with some mouth watering Indian recipes at an Indian restaurant.

Day 03 - Trip to Brussels

After checking out from Paris, we take a road trip o Brussels. The Grand Place and the legendary Mannekin Pis statue are the first points for sight seeing. We don’t check in until night. We visit Atomium and Mini Europe on the way. An eventful day covering some eateries, shopping as well as some ancient streets of Brussels, you will be tired yet content at the end of the day. The tour of beautiful miniatures of world famous buildings will remain in your memory for rest of your lives. We check in to the hotel after having a stomach filling Indian food at local restaurant.

Day 04 - Heidelberg Site Seeing

Today after a continental buffet breakfast, we check out Cologne Cathedral, an ancient architecture and then move on to take a walk around the old city around Alstadt in Heidelberg.  After the walk, satiate your hunger at an Indian restaurant. Not a very action packed day and gives you enough rest.

Day 05 - Move to Switzerland

We check out and move on to Switzerland but on the way we visit the Black forest. The famous cuckoo clocks welcome us with their cuckoos and can be purchased as souvenirs. Before we check into our hotels at night, we have a pleasant walk around the Rhine falls and take dinner at an Indian restaurant.

Day 06 Lucerne Site Seeing

This day is the tour highlight and will cover some beautiful snow clad mountains. We visit Mt. Titlis and take a walk on its bridge and terrace. We also move on to see the amazing city of Lucerne which holds attractions like the world’s oldest wooden bridge and lot more. We end the day with some shopping and Switzerland chocolates top our shopping list for sure. We take you to some of the best places to shop and let you end your day with some delicious Indian food.

Day 07 - Tour Ends in Switzerland

Mannekin Pis Statue

It is lovely bronze statue of a peeing boy. He is about 24 inches in height and is passing urine in a fountain’s basin. It is as old as 1618. There are lot of legendary stories around the boy. Some say he urinated on some bombs planted by attackers and saved the city.

                            

Photostop at Atomium

There are 9 spheres, each of a size of a big house; it is about 18 meters in diameter. It was built in 1958 and is now open to public who can either take the elevator or escalator to reach the top. Mini Europe

Day 07 - Tour Ends in Switzerland

We end the journey by thanking one and all. The hosts guide the tourists on travel details. We check out and proceed to airport to return home, after a memorable Europe tour.

  • Timhotel Italie is a 2 star hotel that costs about 6,000 per night and has comfort single or comfort double rooms for tourists. It lies in shopping area called Place D'Italie and is a simple yet classic six storey building with beautiful iron rod windows & furniture. Wifi and breakfast is free.
  • Le Dauphin, 3 star hotel that costs about Rs.11,000 to Rs. 14,000 per night depending on room type which is either single or double room with air conditioner, room service and laundry facility. It is located near La Defense Esplanade. It is not a very big hotel but has modest facilities and a courteous staff who can talk in more than one language. Free breakfast & free Wi-Fi are the highlights.
  • Hotel Ducs de Bourgogne, 4 star hotel that costs about 16,000 to 17,000 per night for a standard room which is most popular. It is located near Louvre, Notre Dame & Palais Royal which are popular tourist destinationsThe hotel interiors is classic with antique furniture & paintings. Wi-Fi is provided free of cost.

Brussels Recommended Hotels:

  • Hotel La Madeleine is a 2 star hotel that costs about Rs. 6000 per night and has single rooms as popular class. It is a 5 storey building located very close to Museum of Fine Arts & Antiques Square. Breakfast is free but internet is chargeable.
  • Hotel Bloom is a 3 star hotel that cost Rs. 8000 per night approximately and has an option of Standard twin room and Standard King Room. It is located close to Jardin Botanique. It is a simple yet executive hotel which has lot of touristic places and shopping avenues near by. It provides free Wi-Fi.
  • Novotel is a 4 star hotel that costs Rs. 10,000 per night approximately and has options like standard and superior rooms.  It is located near Grand Place and is designed in ancient Spanish style. They provide free Wi-Fi.

Germany Recommended Hotels:

  • Hotel Ibis Heidelberg is a 2 star hotel with approximately Rs. 3000 as per night cost. They have standard twin and standard king as popular room options. It is 5 minutes from railway station and is centrally located. The interiors are modern and cheerful. They have various amenities from internet to spa but they are all payable.
  • Ramada Hotel Lampertheim is a 3 star hotel with modest cost of Rs. 4,000 approximately. It is located centrally and gives a good connection to highways. It has natural surroundings due to national park around.  Comfort room category is the recommended one. Breakfast is free and interestingly, it allows pets too.
  • Hotel Zum Ritter St. Georg is a 4 star hotel with Rs. 10000 as approximate charges for one night’s stay. It’s most popular room categories are superior single and standard double. It is a renaissance building and is historic in nature. It has paid internet facility.

Switzerland Recommended Hotels:

  • Hotel Ibis Luzern Kriens is a 2 star hotel but costs nearly Rs. 7000 per night for standard rooms because of the beautiful Mountain View and close proximity to sea. Internet is free.
  • Ibis Styles Luzern is a 3 star hotel with 110 rooms so availability is never an issue. It has lake and mountains near by for a good view for pleasant mornings. It is modern and recently renovated with Standard rooms and Queen Rooms costing nearly Rs.8000 per night. Free breakfast but paid internet are some key features.  
  • CASCADA Swiss Quality Hotel Luzern is a famous 4 star hotel with 7 storeys and proximity to the lake. It costs nearly Rs. 14000 per night and has an option of booking Economy single room or standard single room. Breakfast is free but internet is payable. Bar and laundry facilities are available.
