Then we the fascinating underground Dubai Museum housed in the Al Fahidi Fort, built in 1800 from sea rocks and gypsum to defend the city.

The museum housed the traditional khanjars (curved daggers) as well as musical instruments dated 300 B.C. Tourists can view the documentary film that feature the early life in Dubai, weapons, tombs, pots and jewelry found during the 3rd B.C. We continue our trip to the colorful textile market, shop at the gold Center.

We proceed from the hotel to the virgin desert outside of Dubai towards Al Aweer, the rise is approx. 45 minutes and you find yourselves in the stunning vistas of the golden sand & the splendor of setting sun. Here we start the dune bashing in the powerful Toyota Land Cruiser almost some times inclining as large at 90 degrees. This is a great experience with rush of blood & thrills. We do dune bashing for approx. 30 minutes. During the Dune bashing, we drive to the highest sand dunes in the desert with almost 80 degree decent & climb.
 

Dubai Desert Safari Tour – Camp Site 

The Trip to the desert is full of fun and roller coaster ride on the sand dunes. Take a pause and view the splendor of the beautiful sunset as it begins to lower on the sandy horizon. We continue our journey to the Bedouin Campsite in the heart of the desert and upon arrival refresh your self with soft drinks, mineral water, tea or coffee.

Freshly ground Arabic gawa (coffee) is served while you enter the camp. Take a camel for a ride or decorate your hand or feet with henna design. Relax and recline in the tents with carpet and pillows while waiting for the sumptuous BBQ dinner to be served.

Proceed for Abu dhabi, this tour starts with pick-up from the hotel in Dubai and will drive towards the destination for approximately 2 hours. First stop will be at Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque or Sheikh Zayed Mosque, the 3rd largest Mosque in the world and one of the best architectural landmarks of the capital.

Once we reached the top, we had a good view of the city of Al Ain as well as the terrain surrounding. There’s the green area, around it are huge rock boulders,  and there is also a an area full of sand. Very interesting view if you’re not used to seeing this combinations.

About Jebel Hafeet - Highest Mountain in Alain

Jebel Hafeet offers a nice vantage point to see Al Ain City below. This is the highest point of Al Ain and is a popular place to hang out and enjoy the cool climate. This was our next stop of our City Tour after exploring the hot springs of Green Mubazzarah.
