After morning grub, drive to Jalori Pass. Situated about 3120 meters above the sea level, it is an eminent thrill for trekkers. Jalori Pass offers you a captivating panorama of the snow-capped mountains and the Kullu Valley. In winter, the routes are covered with the white sheet of snow.

 

Alongside trekking, this place can be visited for nearby attractions like Serolsar Lake and Budhi Nagin Temple. Serolsar Lake is famous for its crystal clear water and the temple alongside dedicated to Goddess Budhi Nagin. You can also enjoy the vicinity covered with the lush green oak trees while trekking to Sarolsar Lake.

 

After exploring Jalori Pass, travelling throughout a 1500 years old fort is purely profound. The glorious Chehni Kothi is an old fort, which was built with stone blocks and wooden beams. It is believed that in earlier time it was the adobe of the king from Kullu known as Rana Dhadhia. That is the reason this fort is also famous as Dhadhia Kothi. It is acclaimed for being the only soaring structure in the entire Himalayan range. A long time ago the grandness of this fort used to be 15 storeys. But, due to the massive earthquake that took place in 1905, the high of this castle has restrained down to 10 floors.

After exploring Tirthan Valley for nearly three days, it is time to head towards Prashar Lake. After crossing the Pass, take a detour from the main road to Prashar. From here on, each small turn on the hilly road will take you higher and higher. It is a 3 storey temple built by King Bansen in the 14th century, whereas the Lake was built in the 13th century. The Prashar Lake has a floating island in it.
