Best food restaurants of the Locations:
1. Delhi
Rajdhani
This pristine, nicely decorated two-level place serves up excellent-value, food-of-the-gods vegetarian thalis with a fantastic array of Gujarati and Rajasthani dishes. It’s the same, sumptuous thali daily.
Bukhara
Widely considered Delhi’s best restaurant, this glam hotel eatery serves Northwest Frontier–style cuisine at low tables, with delectable melt-in-the-mouth kebabs and its famous Bukhara dhal. Reservations are essential.
Karim’s
Just off the lane leading south from Jama Masjid, Karim’s has been delighting carnivores since 1913. Expect meaty Mughlai treats such as mutton burrah (marinated chops), delicious mutton mughlai, and the breakfast mutton and bread combo nahari (₹125 half portion). There’s a second branch in Nizamuddin West .
2. Agra
Esphahan: Making a reservation is essential at Esphahan, Agra’s finest traditional Indian restaurant located inside the beautiful Oberoi Amarvilas hotel. Every evening, they have two sittings, one at 19.00 and the other one at 21.30, giving guests time to fully enjoy their meals. The menu might not be as extensive as in other places but the dishes are all exquisite and include the most succulent North Indian tandoor dishes. Also, their rice with Kerala shrimp curry is a must try on their menu. The atmosphere inside is very romantic, as you dine listening to live santoor players.
Pinch of Spice: The top Indian restaurants in Agra, which serve the richest curries and most succulent tandoori kebabs, are often located in hotels. Pinch of Spice is not, and as such is the best North Indian restaurant outside a five star hotel. The must-try at this restaurant is the murg boti masala, a chicken tikka in a very rich and somewhat spicy local gravy, but also the paneer lababdar, fresh diced cheese in a spicy sauce with onions. Dishes are all authentic, and the exclusive fine dining experience extends beyond the food to the service and ambience. The restaurant outlet at Fatehabad Road accommodates guests over three floors and overlooks the beautiful Taj.
Stuff Makers : Located on a beautiful rooftop terrace at the hotel Kamal, with a breath-taking view of the famous Taj Mahal, Stuff Makers is the perfect restaurant to enjoy the best of Agra’s cuisine. Not all dishes are Indian however. Guests can also opt for pancakes with honey for example. The restaurant is open all day, from 6.00 until 22.00 which makes it the perfect sport for breakfast, snacks, lunch and dinner. No matter at what time of the day you decide to experience this restaurant terrace, the atmosphere will be unique and enjoyable and the views unforgettable.
3. Jaipur
Sheesha: Sheesha is a sophisticated rooftop restaurant popular with couples and families, with a retractable awning should the weather gods intervene. The emphasis is on the tandoor ovens smoking away behind a glass panel. Carnivores will be in heaven (think mutton Punjabi and Murg kadai Peshwari) and vegetarians are well catered for. And yes, you can puff on an after-dinner sheesha.
Moti Mahal Delux: The famous Delhi restaurant now has franchises all over India delivering its world-famous butter chicken to the masses. The tantalising menu features a vast range of veg and nonveg, including some succulent tandoori dishes. Snuggle into a booth and enjoy the ambience, spicy food and a delicious pista kulfi (pistachio-flavoured sweet similar to ice cream) for dessert. Beer and wine available.
Little Italy: Easily the best Italian restaurant in town, Little Italy is part of a small national chain that offers excellent vegetarian pasta, risotto and wood-fired pizzas in cool, contemporary surroundings. The menu is extensive and includes some Mexican items and first-rate Italian desserts. There’s a lounge bar attached so you can accompany your vegetarian dining with wine or beer.
Events and Flair in the Location:
1. Delhi: Indian Food and Wine Show, Pongal / Makar Sankranti, Kite Flying Festival, Lohri, Delhi Book Fair, Surajkund Crafts Mela, Garden Tourism Festival / Flower Show, Summer Theatre Festival and Phoolwalon ki Sair.
2. Agra: Celebrate Valentine’s Day Overlooking the Taj Mahal, Chinese New Year Celebration, Exchange Offer with a Difference at Sanjay Place, Dimsum Festival, Delta Collection and Happy Hours.
3. Jaipur: Kids Eat Free, the ZEE Jaipur Literature Festival, Smoothie Bonanza, Final Party for Chuski Festival and Ladies Night
