Kalpeni Island, one of the most dazzling and alluring places in India is located north east of Kavaratti in Lakshadweep. The island possesses one of the biggest lagoons in the Lakshadweep Islands. The island is more prominent for its three islands known as Pitti, Tilakkam and Cheriyam and is the second nearest island after Androth Island. Kalpeni is 2800 m long and 1200 m wide.The popular drink available at the island is fresh coconut water for tourists.
