Day 1: Delhi – Katni (By train)
On arrival at Delhi railway station our representative will transfer you to Katni Railway Station for onwards journey. Later in the evening you will pick train (H.nizzamuddin Jabalpur superfast) at 17:50 for Katni. Overnight in train.
Day 2: Katni - Bandhavgarh (100 km. / 2 hr 30 min.)
On reaching katni railway station at 6:35 early in the morning. Later proceed for Bandhavgarh national park which is known for highest tiger density in all over the world. Check in resort, later you may have delicious lunch. After that you may go for local tribe village tour and take photography at these places. Overnight stay at resort in Bandhavgarh.
Day 3: Morning / Evening Jungle safari in Tala, Magdhi zone
Early morning after have tea/coffee in resort, you will visit for Jungle safari in Tala zone which is start by 6 am. Our gypsy will pick you from resort and take you for Jungle safari. Tala is the richest zone in terms of biodiversity, mainly tigers with their amazing wildlife sanctuary. Morning Jungle safari ends by 10:30 am, later come back to resort and have breakfast. At your leisure you may enjoy swimming, indoor games and different activities of your resort.
After post lunch, you will go for evening Jungle Safari in Magdhi zone which starts by 2:30 pm. After visit all the zonal area of Jungle safari you would be returning at about 5:30 pm. Tea/Coffee Biscuits would be served in the evening. Later take dinner and overnight stay at resort in Bandhavgarh
Day 4: Morning Jungle safari in Khitauli and Evening Bird photography tour
Early morning move for jungle safari in Khitauli zone of Bandhavgarh. Enjoy the amazing sightseeing of forest with jungle safari and photography of stunning views. Later come back to resort and have breakfast. After post lunch you may go for bird watching tour and take some good photography of rare visible birds. Overnight stay at resort in Bandhavgarh.
Day 5: Bandhavgarh – Kanha National Park (250 km. / 4hr / 30 min.)
After breakfast checkout of from resort and proceed for Kanha National Park. Upon arrival check in resort and rest of the day free at your leisure. After lunch you may go for photography of nearest local views of park. Later take dinner and overnight stay at resort in Kanha National Park which is another wonderful place to jungle safari and photographic place of tigers very closely. Overnight stay at resort.
Day 6: Morning / Evening Jungle safari in Mukki and Kanha zone
Early morning visit in Mukki zone for jungle safari and photography which is the most popular zone of all due to favourable tiger and wildlife sightings. This is an ideal zone to look for Tigers for photography. After that come back to resort and have breakfast. Later in the evening you will go for jungle safari in Kanha zone which is a premium zone where you may take photos of beautiful Jungle with wild animals. Later have dinner and overnight stay at resort.
Day 7: Morning / Evening Jungle safari in Kisli and Sarhi zone
Begin this morning with jungle safari of Kisli zone which lies adjacent to Kanha Zone and has the same habitat type for watching tigers and photography of wildlife scenes. Later come back to resort and after post lunch visit for evening jungle safari in Sarhi zone which is a recent addition to tourism infrastructure at Kanha. The area consists of dense mixed forests and is considered as most scenic for photography. Later take dinner and overnight stay at resort in Kanha.
Day8: Kanha National Park – Jabalpur (140 km. /4 hr.)
After breakfast check out from the resort and you will drive to Jabalpur railway station to board train for Delhi. Pick train (Jabalpur – Nizzamuddin super fast ) at 17:30 and you will reach Delhi next morning by 11:50. Overnight in train
Best time to visit Bandhavgarh / Kanha National Park
Every year Indian National Parks is open for visitors from the 15th of October to till 30th of June. As per the climate of Central part of India, the peak season for Bandhavgarh and Kanha National Park is during winters which are October to March. Most of the tourists visit the park between November and March, mainly because the summer's heat is unbearable. The period between November and February is excellent for visiting Bandhavgarh and Kanha national park as the rain fall during monsoon rejuvenated all the nature & vegetation. During the time period from March to May most of the vegetation at National Park gets dried & Tiger Sighting is relatively easier than it is in winters and it is the best time to photo shoot of tigers and other wild animal.

Places to visit in Bandhavgarh
Baghel Museum: The museum is located 100 meters away from the reserve (park) and is being famous for keeping the belongings of Shikargarh, or a game preserve that the tourists certainly want to discover at Bandhavgarh. The timings to visit the Baghel Museum are: 10 am to 3 pm and 5 pm to 8 pm.
Three Cave Point: one of the most fascinating point in Bandhavgarh National Park is the three cave point that can be easily visible from the Ganesh Hillock road. This beautiful location has many beautiful carvings that typically signify the perfect blend of the architectural techniques that were prevalent in the ancient times. Today, this place is perfectly being the ideal home for many wild animals including leopards, tigers and sloth bears.
Jwalamukhi Temple: It is the temple of the goddess Jwalamukhi situated in the bank of river “Charan Ganga”. About 11 km away from Bandhavgarh, this temple is also 10th century founding.
Fossil National Park: About 110 km away from Bandhavgarh, the Fossil National Park s named so since it brings all its floras in the fossil form that existed in India anywhere between 40 million and 150 million years ago. This park is being spread over an area of over 274,100 square meters. The fossil plants are found in three villages at the buffer area of the national park. The Standing, petrified trunks of trees have been categorized as Gymnosperms and Angiosperms- Monocotyledons and palms and some of them have also being identified as Bryophytes.
Village Tala: One of the most reiterated location the tourist prefer to visit in Bandhavgarh, the Tala Village brings the total reflection of an Indian village which still brings the most ethnic way of living. There are many captivating glimpses a tourist can explore while spending a day at this village. The modest dwellings, the mud clustered houses, elders smoking hookahs sitting on a cot are such magnificent scenes that brings a standstill on the time. The lowest region of Bandhavgarh, the Tala Village brings many fascinating landscapes all around the location. Places to see in Kanha National Park
Bamni Dadar: It is also known as the sunset point is quite popular among tourists. Most tourists visit Bamni Dadar to get the wonderful view of the setting sun and this is also one of the beautiful area in the park, Animals that can be sighted around this pont are typical of the mixed forest zone: sambar, barking deer, gaur and the four-horned antelope etc
Kanha Museum: Kanha Museum inside the park is another interesting place to visit. The museum is the right place to understand the topography and other interesting aspects of the park.
Sonf Meadows: Sonf village was the first one to be moved out from Park area for making spreading the tiger reserve in Kanha. As the people being moved away from the reserve, within few years few barasingha descended here and they began to breed successfully. The thick and extensive cover of tall grasses protected the barasingha fawns from predators. Similar to Sonf, there are few other meadows also where the earlier villages were there.
Kanha Meadows: The Kanha Meadows is one of the most popular visit place in Kanha. As many times tourist have spotted the tiger hunting its prey. In Large meadows you can witness the herbivores, and therefore carnivores are also there.
Shravan Tal: There is a small water pond in the reserve which is popularly known as sharan tal. As per the belief of local villagers, that it was named because of the history that the dutiful son shravan Kumar came here to fetch water to his blind Parents. Kings Dasharatha (father of Shri Rama) has mistakenly shooted shravan Kumar with his bows arrows as they thought there is a wild animal drinking water from the pond.
Shravan Chita: Shravan Chita is the so called place where the dutiful son shravan Kumar, was cremated. It was a mythological belief that the King Dasharatha, who was on a hunting expedition happen to be near to the spot where shravan Kumar went to fetch water for his blind parents. The spot is at a centre of the park when you enter from Kisli gate and moves towards Kanha. Large number of herbivores and carnivores animals and birds use to come here as the water availability in this pond is throughout the year.
Lapsi Kabar:This place is around 04 km from Kanha. It was a real fact that a guide cum naturalist had a face to face encounter with the king of the Jungle. The guide cum naturalist was accompanying the guest during the jungle safari. He fought bravely with the tiger but in the end paid with his life. The gravestone is the memorial for his courage.
Dasharatha Machan: While you are near the shravan tal, you can see opposite to it the mountain like structure called as shravan machan. As the Indian mythology says that from this point the doomed arrow to dutiful son Shravan Kumar. The Hill on which the machan existed is known as Macha Dongar.
