How to reach Singapore

By Air

By Train

Singapore is connected to Malaysia, Johor Bahru and Kuala Lumpur by rail, with a route to Bangkok. There are three trains per day, including a sleeper. Trains depart from and arrive at the Tanjong Pagar MRT station Singapore.

Best Time to Visit Singapore

True to its location in Southeast Asia, Singapore generally remains hot and humid all year round.

July-September: While tourists visit throughout the year, the festive season is a great time to explore the many facets of Singapore, especially around July when the Great Singapore Sale and the Singapore Food Festival take place.

Day 1:  Night Safari : Arrive at the fabulous Changi Airport in Singapore. Our local representative will be waiting outside the customs area to welcome and take you to your hotel. In evening, you will be taken for Night Safari Tour. Hop onboard the tram and psyche yourself for a 40- minute journey of wild animal encounters !Journey from the himalayan foothills to wild Equitorial africa, this tram ride offers live commentary. Get a chance to come up-close with lions, tigers, tapirs, deer and more ! Set in a forest clearing, the creatures of the night show a 20- minute animal presentation will introduce you to nocturnal animals, from the exclusive owl to nimble binturongs to intuitive civerts. Day 2:  Half day City tour  + Santosa Island : After breakfast, take a half day tour of Singapore City covering Merlion, Chinatown, Mount Faber And Gem stone factory. In the Afternoon you can enjoy your day at sentosa island. Visit underwater world an incredible one-stop destination for the family- providing hours of fun, leisure and learning for all. Featuring movie-themed rides and attractions, which are unique to Singapore, thrill seekers and families will be the first to experience many new rides and shows based on blockbuster hits. The young and young at heart will be entertained by Shrek and gang on an incredible 4-D adventure in the world’s first Far Far Away Castle. Thrill seekers can face warrior mummies on Revenge of the Mummy a psychological thrill ride in total darkness. Merlion Park

When you’re in the vicinity of the Merlion Park and One Fullerton, it’s hard to miss out on the iconic symbol, regarded as the pride of Singapore. What I like best about it is the spectacular 360 view on a clear night. It grants you views that stretches across to Indonesia and Malaysia.

3. Get romantic 200m in the air at KU DE TA

Price: $20++

Situated atop the 57th floor Marina Bay Sands tower, this lounge, bar and restaurant is the epitome of all things classy. Food is not fantastic but its the place you want to be seen at and the view is to die for.

It's a little harsh on the pockets for the young ones but a little indulgence goes a long way!

Tip for non-hotel guests: If you would pay $20 to visit the Sands Skypark, why not pay the same for a cocktail at Ku De Ta with the same view? No actually, the same view with a better atmosphere.

4. Wine & Dine aboard City-Sightseeing Boats

Price: $400++ (Private Boat)

For the really ambitious as this is not cheap.

You could privately charter a boat and spend the night on a cruise drinking up the bright lights of our fine city. Bring her favourite dishes along with a bottle of aromatic wine to give your partner the surprise of a lifetime! Costly but definitely blow-off-the-roof romantic.

5. Dine aboard the Jewel Cable Car

If dining in the Singapore flyer is not for you, an alternative is Cable Car dining. This may provide a more intimate experience since the Singapore Flyer cabins are shared. You feel more vulnerable here too, adding to the excitement.
