Church of Sacred Heart of Jesus: The blessing of the church and the first mass were held at the western wing of the present church by Mgr. Gandhi on 17, December 1907 and the new parish surrounding this church was established on 27, January 1908. The extremely beautiful stained glass window depicts the life of Jesus. Raj Niwas: Raj Nivas  is the official residence of the Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry. It is located in Puducherry's capital city of Pondicherry. The present lieutenant governor of Puducherry is Dr. Kiran Bedi. Raj Niwas is known as the ‘Palais du Gouvernement’, which was built during 18th century. It is now the residence of the Lt. Governor of Pondicherry, which is open to common public. There is an old court inside the complex, which houses the Legislative Assembly.

The Pondicherry Museum is situated in the Bharathi Park and is known for its unique collection of sculptures. In the union territory of Pondicherry, this township runs on the principles of peace, harmony, sustainable living and 'divine consciousness' which was the philosophy of the Mother of Sri Aurobindo Society, Mirra Alfassa.
