Day 01: Arrive at Guwahati airport or railway station
After arrival at Guwahati airport or railway station and check in to hotel, After freshen up and get ready you will visit some famous excursion of Guwahati which includes Kamakhya Temple, Assam Rajyik State Museum, Guwahati Planetarium. Kamakhya Devi Temple: Kamakhya Temple situated some 5 km from the main city on the Nilachal Hill, is one of the most sacred Hindu Shrines of India. Day 02: Guwahati to Kaziranga National Park (193 km/4 Hours)

Full day at Kaziranga National Park, We will start early in the morning with an elephant safari for one hour followed by jeep safari in the central range of the park. Nameri National Park: Nameri National Park is a national park in the foothills of the eastern Himalayas in the Sonitpur District of Assam, India, about 35 km from Tezpur. Mawsmai Cave: the Mawsmai Caves are a major crowd puller that leaves tourists spellbound. These limestone caves have the distinction of being the only caves in Meghalaya that are lit enough to enable tourists to enjoy the natural formations in awe. The cave has a spacious opening but it soon squeezed into a small neck. The cave is a one way road- enters from one and goes out the other. Nohkalikai Falls: Nohkalikai Falls is the tallest plunge waterfall in India. How to Reach Guwahati
By Flight: Guwahati has Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport at Borjhar, about 20 km west of the center of the city. Gan Ngai: Gan Ngai is the greatest festival. Earlier it used to be celebrated for seven days but now it is celebrated for five days. It is a post harvesting festival which is celebrated in the month of December-January every year. The people of the tribes place 3 cuisine stones close to the fireplace so that they can accomplish the tribe’s health, good harvest and prosperity.
Tuluni Festival: Tuluni Festival is most significant festival celebrated by the Sumi Naga tribe of Nagaland. During the Tuluni Festival there are prayers and offerings that are given to Litsaba, who is the deity of fruitfulness who gives life and protection to the crops.
Nazu Festival: One of the most enjoyable and colorful festivals of Nagaland, celebrated by the Pochury Tribe there is the Nazu Festival. The whole outlook of the festival is les of rituals and more of pure entertainment and competition. There are dances and music performed by the tribal folks.

Khasi peoples : The Khasi people are an indigenous tribe, the majority of who live in the State of Meghalaya which is in the north eastern part of India, with a significant population in the border areas of the neighboring state of Assam. Jaintias: Jaintia tribe - a sub tribe of 'Khasi', are the inhabitants of Meghalaya. They have been residing in Jaintia hills and belong to the Proto Australoid Monkhmer race. The tribe is famous for artistic weaving, wood-carving and cane and bamboo work. These are also the main crafts of the tribe.
Tribal in India and their lifestyle
Indian tribal people play a key part in constructing the cultural heritage of India. They occupy a major part in the history of India as they are considered as the true habitants of India. The tribal people are scattered in different parts of India and they form a considerable number of the population of India. The same term "Adivasi" is used in Sri Lanka to refer to the native Vedda people. The word is also used in the same sense in Nepal as is another word "Janajati", although the political context differed historically under the Shah and the Rana dynasty of Nepal. These Indian tribal groups of people have been notified to occupy more than one State. More than half of the Indian tribal population is concentrated in the states of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, Orissa, Jharkhand and Gujarat, whereas in Haryana, Punjab, Delhi, Puducherry and Chandigarh no community has been notified as a specific tribal group.
Types of Tribes

Foraging Tribes: Foraging Tribes is a combination of smaller kin or non-kin communities linked by a common culture that usually act as one. Nomadic Tribes: Horticultural Tribes: Nomadic Tribes hunted and gathered, but also pillaged in order to survive and prosper. Nomadic Tribes were usually dominated by males and often practiced plural marriages
Agrarian Tribes (communities): An agrarian system is the dynamic set of economic and technological factors that affect agricultural practices. It is premised on the idea that different systems have developed depending on the natural and social conditions specific to a particular region. They have been the most common form of socio-economic organization for most of recorded human history.
Industrial Tribes: Industrial Tribes were built around career which connected them, for economic opportunities in the cities and suburbs. The more capital you could get invested, the better your tribe fared (at least for a while) versus other tribes. Your tribes probably included a community fundraiser club, donors to the post office Christmas food drive, PTA or home school co-op (or both), church committees, car pool group, racquetball partners, biking team, local theatre, the kids’ choir, lunch with your friends, Cubs or Yankees fans, and the list goes on and on and on.
Northeast Indian Tribes
North East Indian tribes have originated from the ethnic groups of Tibeto-Burmese, proto Austrioloids and some groups of Indo Mongoloids. The trend can be seen in the looks, traditions that are visibly followed by these communities. They also show a cultural bridging with the neighbouring countries. North-East tribes constitute a major part of Indian tribal community. They are all scattered over all the states of North East. Arunachal Pradesh consists of around 25 types of tribes. Nagaland has around more than 16 major tribes even. Some examples of prominent tribes are Garo, Khasi, Jaintia, Adi, Nyishi, Angami, Bhutia, Kuki, Rengma, Bodo and Deori. Traditional food of Nagaland
A typical Naga meal consists of a meat dish, a boiled vegetable dish or two, rice and a chutney (Tathu). Nagas tend to prefer boiled edible organic leaves. Some common dishes are "fermented bamboo shoot" (made from the tender shoot of the Bamboo tree) with fish and pork.

The climate of Meghalaya varies with the altitude. It is neither too warm in summer nor too cold in winter. The average annual rainfall is about 1,150 cm.

Kaziranga National Park is a national park in the Golaghat and Nagaon districts of the state of Assam, India. A World Heritage Site, the park hosts two-thirds of the world's Great One-horned Rhinoceroses. Kaziranga also boasts the highest density of tigers among protected areas in the world and was declared a Tiger Reserve in 2006. The park is home to large breeding populations of elephants, wild water buffalo, and swamp deer. Kaziranga is also recognized as an Important Bird Area by Birdlife International for conservation of avifaunal species. Compared to other protected areas in India, Kaziranga has achieved notable success in wildlife conservation. Located on the edge of the Eastern Himalaya biodiversity hotspot, the park combines high species diversity and visibility. Kaziranga is a vast expanse of tall elephant grass, marshland, and dense tropical moist broadleaf forests, crisscrossed by four major rivers, including the Brahmaputra, and the park includes numerous small bodies of water. Kaziranga has been the theme of several books, songs, and documentaries. The park celebrated its centennial in 2005 after its establishment in 1905 as a reserve forest.
