City palace:  city palace Located in the heart of the Pink City Jaipur, the City Palace was where the Maharaja reigned from. This palace also includes the famous 'Chandra Mahal' and 'Mubarak Mahal', and other buildings which form a part of the palace complex. The palace is located towards the northeast side of central Jaipur and has many courtyards and buildings. The City Palace reflects Rajput, Mughal and European architectural styles although the palace was designed to Vaastushastra treatise. Some of the famous gates are the 'Udai Pol', 'Jaleb Chowk', 'Tripolia Gate' and 'Virendra Pol', which also happen to be the various entrances to the palace. These are all richly decorated.

Jantar Mantar : The Jantar Mantar in Jaipur is considered to be the largest of the five observatories and also houses the world's largest sundial.The term 'Jantar Mantar' is derived from the Sanskrit terms 'Yantra' and 'Mantra' meaning 'instruments' and 'formula' respectively. The term 'Yantra' was replaced with 'Jantar' which means 'magical'. The Jantar Mantar houses various architectural and astrological instruments that have caught the interests of astronomers, historians and architects around the world.

 

After Breakfast you will proceed for Jodhpur which is 37 km far away from jaipur. After reach you will visit Kesar Heritage Restaurant for lunch later you will visit famous places of Jodhpur which includes Jaswant Thada, Moti Mahal and Sukh Mahal and Phool Mahal, in the evening back to hotel. Moti Mahal: Moti Mahal is the largest period room of the Mehrangarh Museum. It was built by Raja Sur Singh. Moti Mahal was where the king used to sit on his throne and meet all his subjects. The palace has the Sringar Chowki, The Royal Throne of Jodhpur. The Moti Mahal has five alcoves leading to hidden balconies. It is believed that the balconies were built for the five queens of the Maharaja to enable them to listen in on court proceeding.

Phool Mahal:  Maharaja Abhaya Singh built the Phool Mahal. It is one of the grandest Mehrangarh Fort period rooms. It is believed that the Phool Mahal was a private and exclusive chamber of pleasure. Dancing girls are believed to perform here for the pleasure of the Maharajas. The gold for the Mahal came from Ahmedabad in Gujarat. The paintings, royal portraits and the ever-popular raga mala of the Mahal came during the reign of Jaswant Singh II.

 

After breakfast you will proceed for Jaisalmer which is 285 km far away from Jodhpur. After reach you will visit for lunch in Hotel Tokyo Palace later you will be transfer to hotel for some rest, in the evening you will visit some places of Jaisalmer which are Patwon ki Haveli , Nathmal ki Haveli, Salim singh-ki-Haveli. Patwon ki Haveli: Patwon ki Haveli is actually a complex of 5 havelis built next to each other by the 5 sons of Guman Chand, a trader in textiles and precious metals. These multi-storeyed buildings were constructed at the beginning of the 18th century from the golden-yellow Jaisalmeri stone and have mud floors and wooden ceilings ensuring perfect temperature inside, regardless of the weather outside. The exterior stonework is so unimaginably magnificent, that I am going to show you what I saw rather than attempt a write-up which will not even capture its essence.

Nathmal ki Haveli:  Diwan Nathmal ki Haveli, which is partly inhabited today, has a special feature its roof has been cast by binding stone pieces without using beams and brackets. This haveli, too, has a beautiful façade with stone elephants on both side of the platform of the haveli, ornamental latticed balconies, and partly bloomed lotus flowers, floral patterns on intricate lattices and minute birds and animals.

 

After breakfast take a half-day sightseeing tour and visit Jaisalmer Fort, Jain temple and havelis, Rest of the day at leisure. Take a drive to the Sam sand dunes in the evening. Overnight stay at the same tent.

Sam Sand Dunes: To have a feel of the desert, you need to undertake Desert Safari. Sam Sand Dunes is the ideal location to set off for the Desert Safari. You will love the safari on camelback that would take you along crests and troughs and you could watch the picturesque sunset on the desert. Jeep safaris are available as well. Desert festival is organized in the months of February and March. If you are around this time, you would not want to miss the folk dances, camel races and other cultural events conducted here.

Jaipur:

Birla Mandir: The Birla Temple, originally known as Lakshmi Narayan Temple, and is situated below the Moti Dungri Fort in Jaipur. Hawa mahal: The renowned 'Palace Of The Winds', or Hawa Mahal, is one of the prominent tourist attractions in Jaipur city. Jaipur’s most distinctive landmark, the Hawa Mahal is an extraordinary, fairy-tale, pink sandstone, delicately honeycombed hive that rises a dizzying five storeys. It was constructed in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh to enable ladies of the royal household to watch the life and processions of the city.

 

Jal mahal: Jal Mahal (meaning "Water Palace") is a palace located in the middle of the Man Sagar Lake in Jaipur city, the capital of the state of Rajasthan, India. The palace and the lake around it were renovated and enlarged in the 18th century by Maharaja Jai Singh II of Amber. "The Jal Mahal palace has got an eye-popping makeover. Traditional boat-makers from Vrindavan have crafted the Rajput style wooden boats. A gentle splashing of oars on the clear lake waters takes you to Jal Mahal.

Jaswant Thada:  Jaswant Thada is a royal mausoleum and a classic example of the Rajputana style of architecture. With the imposing white marble and absolute beauty, this landmark in Jodhpur leaves you awestruck. Jaswant Thada is enriched with its amazing grandeur, beautiful gardens and intricately carved facades. The cenotaph of Maharaja Jaswant Singh displays portraits of the rulers and Maharajas of Jodhpur. The main memorial has been built like a temple. To visit the Thada you have to go through the rocky hills. This also lends a mystic aura to the whole visit. Jaisalmer:

Jaisalmer Fort: Jaisalmer Fort is famously known as Golden Fort of Rajasthan. It was constructed by Raja Jaisal, Rajput ruler in the year 1156 AD. It ranks amongst the largest forts in the world. The golden and yellow mixed sandstone offer magical look to the Fort. Rising from the desert sands like a mirage, the fort is a real sight with its 99 turrets during night. The Fort stands tall and proud displaying the magic of Rajasthani architecture.

 

Bada Bagh: Bada Bagh means ‘Huge Garden’. Maharawal Jait Singh’s period saw its construction, which was in the beginning of 16th century. His son Lunakaran completed the construction after the death of his father. The garden served as a memorial where the nobles and their families were cremated. The garden offers a stunning view. The place is isolated. If you visit the place during sunrise and sun set, you are guaranteed of beautiful moments, which you cannot avoid clicking.

Salim singh-ki-Haveli: The haveli has a distinct architecture. The roof has been constructed in the form of Peacock. The haveli is situated beside the hills near the Jaisalmer Fort. People claim that Salim Singh made two additional floors in order to make it as high as the fort but the Maharaja did not take this attempt in good spirit. He ordered the extra floors to be torn down. Nevertheless we do not find enough evidence to corroborate the story.

Sound and Light Show: Sound and Light Show at Jantar Mantar and Amer Fort is also a enjoy full and memorable activities in the evening time. The show has been set in a very exotic location, with the giant panoramic view of the Amber Fort & Palace Complex in the front, the rising Jaigarh on the left, the hills at the back and the gallery itself in the Kesar Kiyari Complex of Maota Lake.
