AMBER FORT PALACE - Amber is the classic romantic Rajasthani fort palace. Its construction was started by Man Singh I in 1592, and completed by his descendent Jai Singh I. Its forbidding exterior belies an inner paradise where a beautiful fusion of Mughal and Hindu styles finds its ultimate expression. 

 

CITY PALACE - A delightful blend of Mughal and traditional Rajasthani architecture, the City Palace sprawls over one-seventh of the area in the walled city. It houses the Chandra Mahal, Shri Govind Dev Temple and the City Palace Museum.

 

JANTAR MANTAR - This is the largest and the best preserved of the five observatories built by Jai Singh II in different parts of the country. This observatory consisting of outsized astronomical instruments is still in use.

 

HAWA MAHAL - The ornamental facade of this Palace of Winds; is a prominent landmark in Jaipur. Their five-storey structures of sandstone plastered pink encrusted with fine trelliswork and elaborate balconies. The palace has 953 niches and windows. Built in 1799 by Pratap Singh, the Mahal was a royal grandstand for the palace women.

Stay overnight in Jaipur.  

Have a lavish breakfast in the hotel and then head to Pushkar. It is believed that Lord Brahma (The creator of the world) performed his Vedic yagna in Pushkar in search for his abode on earth. Pushkar is also world famous for its Pushkar fair held every year in the month of October. People from different parts of the country gather here to buy and sell cattle of different breeds.

3 months Single Entry Tourist Visa is issued to Chinese nationals as per the MOU on Simplifying visa procedures between Republic of India and People's Republic of China.

6 Months or 1 year Single/Multiple entry Tourist visa is issued to Foreign Applicants depends on their Nationality, Documentation & Decision taken from the Indian mission

Required Documents

  • Visa Application form (No column to be left unfilled) duly signed along with photograph pasted at the designated space

  • Copy of the passport

  • Copy of the Chinese ID Card ( both sides)

  • Copy of the air ticket for return /onward journey

  • Undertaking from the applicant regarding financial standing stating that he/she has sufficient funds for the visit.

  • Detailed itinerary duly signed by the applicant

As per new notification from The Embassy, Following Documents are not required:

1) Original letter from a company or school

2) Bank guarantee certificate

1) A referral fee of 689 RMB per applicant will be charged for citizens of chinato applying for visa to India.

Amber Fort

The Pink City of Jaipur was designed and constructed by the architecture Lal Chand Ustad .The Hawa Mahal is one of the well known geniuses offering by Lal Chand Ustad. Hawa(Air) Mahal is the well ventilated airy structure with 900 small windows to keep the interiors cooler than outside. It was used by the Royal ladies and their aides to watch the war and festive processions from the windows.

Jantar Mantar

An integrated complex of Astronomical structures depicts the early stage of astronomy.Commisioned by Raja Jai Singh in the times of Emperor Akbar, it is one of the five observatory built to understand cosmological concepts. It has instruments architectural structures to tell time and constellation. It is frequented by the historians and students of Vedic sciences. Temples

This holy city is said to house approx 2,300 temples. The very famous temples for worship include the Kashi Vishwanath Temple of Shiva, the Sankat Mochan Hanuman Temple, and the Durga Temple, popular for monkeys that dwell in the adjacent large trees. The Kashi Vishwanath Temple, which is one of the 12 Jyotirlinga shrines in India, is also called the ‘Golden Temple’.

Being a replica of the Pashupatinath Temple in Kathmandu, the national capital city of Nepal, this temple is built of terracotta, wood and stone in the Nepali style of Pagoda architecture. As this temple owns sculptures with the similarity of ones showed in the Khajuraho Group of Monuments, it is also referred to as the Mini Khajuraho.

The Ghats in Varanasi, which are world famous embankments built in steps of stone slabs along the banks of the river Ganges, are counted among the most visited tourist attractions in this destination. The very renowned Ghats in this holy city include the Dashashwamedh Ghat, the Manikarnika Ghat, the Assi Ghat, the Panchganga Ghat, and the Jain Ghat. Ramnagar Fort

Constructed of cream colored Chunar sandstone in the 18th century by Kashi Naresh Raja Balwant Singh, the Ramnagar Fort, which is situated close to the sacred river Ganges on the eastern bank of this river and opposite the Tulsi Ghat, is a typical example of the style of the Mughal architecture. This fort has open courtyards, carved balconies, and picturesque pavilions. Within the complex of this fort, you can also visit the Maharaja Banaras Vidya Mandir Trust Museum. This museum has the collection of textiles, the old Palkis, pieces of decorative arts, manuscripts and furniture.

Dhamek Stupa

Having its impressive height of 128 ft and the diameter of 93 ft, the Dhamek Stupa, which is constructed of a blend of stone and brick, is the most famous tourist attraction in Sarnath. This structure has the adornment of the intricate carvings of flowers related to the Gupta origin.

Ashokan Pillar

Originally surmounted by the ‘Lion Capital of Ashoka’, the Ashokan Pillar, which was damaged during the invasions of the Turkish, can be viewed at the Sarnath Museum at present. The base of this Lion Capital of Ashoka can still be seen at its original location.

Sarnath Archaeological Museum

Here, you can visit the Sarnath Archaeological Museum. This museum showcases a plethora of images and relics of Buddha and Bodhisattva. All these specimens were found after the excavations made at Sarnath. In this museum, you can also explore the ‘Lion Capital of the Ashokan Pillar’, the emblem of the Republic of India at present.

Fateh Sagar

Udaipur city is famous as Lake City or City of Lakes and it is also known as Venice of the East. Your visit to Udaipur is incomplete till you have not enjoyed the heart throbbing views of its lakes. Gulab Bagh is the life line of Udaipur; it is the Green Heart of the city which provides clean and fresh air to the residents of Udaipur. The two major attractions of Gulab Bagh which would certainly grab the sight of kids are the Gulab Bagh Zoological Garden and the Mini Train. Since Gulab Bagh is quite spread in very large area, it would be a better idea to enjoy the Mini Train Ride which would cover the entire circumference of Gulab Bagh. The train ride would make your Gulab Bagh visit memorable.

Dudh Talai

Like Fateh Sagar, Dudh Talai is another place in Udaipur which would offer of enjoying the lake side view. This place is situated near the famous Pichhola Lake. Unlike Fateh Sagar you won’t find enough space to roam around the confines of the lake Pichhola. Still you can enjoy boating and camel ride over here. This is not the end, yet there is one more adventure to go. Just near Dudh Talai there is a rope way to visit Karni Mata Temple on a small hillock. The rope way offers an amazing view of the entire Pichhola Lake, City Palace and Jagmandir. The view from the top is amazing at day and as well as at night. At the top of hillock at temple you could see the entire Udaipur city spreading its wings. The sunset point won’t allow you getting back to your home.

Sajjan Garh

The Sajjan Garh is a hilltop extravagant place in the Udaipur overlooking the Pichhola Lake. It was named after Maharana Sajjan of the Mewar Dynasty and was built 1884. For nature and wild life lovers it is the perfect place look upon. The Sajjan Garh offers a panoramic view of the city’s surrounding and its lakes. The place has been taken under control of the Forest Department and has been open for public over past few years. The place provides a magnificent view of Sun Set and it is very famous for it. The area of the Sajjan Garh has been developed as a wild life sanctuary. Wild animals like panther have been watched many times in the area by the local villagers of the nearby area. Sajjan Garh is also known as Monsoon Palace.

City Palace

City Palace is located at the heart of Udaipur and it was built by Maharana Udai Singh Ji. The palace is situated at the bank of Pichhola Lake. It is certainly would be a place to visit who has a keen interest in history of Rajasthan. The famous Jagdish Temple is close to it and from the Palace one can have the beautiful view of Lake Palace and Jag Mandir which are both located in midst of the Pichhola Lake. The major part of the City Palace has been converted into museum which displays a diverse range of preserved monuments and armor. The museum exhibits a wide collection of weapons, gears, clothes furniture etc.

Gateway of India

The objective of this 85 feet tall structure was to commemorate King George, the Fifth’s visit to Mumbai. Incidentally, the last of British soldiers that were to leave India after independence, departed through Gateway of India. The architecture is a perfect blend of three styles, namely Hindu, Islam and European Gothic styles. You could take ferry from here to visit Elephanta Caves.

Marine Drive

Marine Drive is in the heart of Mumbai and hence you can have easy access to it from anywhere in Mumbai. It is 3km long and it borders Arabian Sea forming a bay. The stretch is ‘C’ shaped that links Nariman Point and Babulnath. The place offers spectacular view of sunset. Tourists are attracted to Marine Drive where they could stroll in the walkway and experience the cool breeze.

Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus

This was earlier known as Victoria Terminus. The construction was completed in the year 1897. UNESCO has declared the terminus as World Heritage Site in the year 2004. The building is a representation of architecture of various cultures including traditional Indian, Victorian and Gothic. Though it is a terminus to board and get off trains, you cannot help marveling at the stunning architecture of the building. Whether you intend to take a train or not, this is a must visit site in Mumbai.

Haji Ali Shrine

Located in the heart of Worli, Haji Ali Shrine reflects the Indian Muslim architecture. The 85 feet tall structure is located in 4500 meters area of land. The Shrine is constructed with marble that matches the marbles used in the construction of Taj Mahal. The pillars of the Shrine are artistic and the mirror work in the monument is stunning. The stupendous architecture of the Haji Ali Shrine attracts people of various religions and beliefs.

Siddhivinayak Temple

Siddhivinayak Temple is one of the most visited places of worship in Mumbai. Many politicians, Bollywood celebrities frequent this temple to seek blessings of Lord Ganesha. Basilica of Our Lady of the Mount

Basilica of Our Lady of the Mount has a history that can be traced back to the 16th century. This Roman Catholic Church is famous for two statues of Blessed Virgin Mary, which have interesting legends behind them. An annual feast for the Birth of the Virgin Mary is held with great festivity on the first Sunday after 8th september and is followed by the famous Bandra fair. Both christians and hindus attend this church in large numbers.
