After arrival at Bagdogra airport or railway station and meet with our representative they will greet you with warm welcome and proceed towards Charkhole village. Charkhole is a very small village on the hilltop and famous as offbeat destination where the nature welcomes with its abundant beauties and varieties. Upon arrival check in to cottage of Charkhole and spend some melodious time in cottage, you may have lunch(local food) at same cottage. By the evening you will visit for nature walking leisurely in and around the village and to watch the lifestyle of the villagers along with enjoying the spellbound natural beauty. After that you will return back to Cottage and overnight stay with dinner at Charkhole village

After breakfast start your blessing day in wonderful land filled with natural beauty and awareness. You may have half day have to explore Lava and Loleygaon which is places which are full of natural beauties and offer full blown view of Eastern Himalayas. After visit you may stop for lunch at any food zone in village, later you will continue your tour towards Rishyap and Kolakham, they both are also beautiful village of Himalayan range. After that you will come back to Chota Mangwa village and you may have lunch at cottage. By the evening visit for nature walk at village and old monasteries in Chota Mangwa. By the evening return back to cottage and overnight stay with dinner at Lamahatta cottage

About Chota Mangwa

Chota Mangwa a small hilly village in secluded environment of Darjeeling district, west Bengal, distance from Darjeeling city only 35 K.M. It will take around half hours short driving to Chota Mangwa from Darjeeling city. Placed wonderfully with both side views and orange gardens and citrus plantations surrounding the small quiet village, Chota Mangwa is rapidly growing as a hot tourist destination.

How to Reach Charkhole

By Flight: Bagdogra is nearest airport to reach Charkhole it is about 86 km away from each other. All major flights are available

By Train: Nearest railway station is New Jalpaiguri or NJP. Direct cars are available from NJP, Siliguri and Bagdogra airport.

By Bus: Direct cars are also available from Lava, Lolegaon and Kalimpong to Charkhole

Places to see in Chota Mangwa

 A trip to the orange orchards at Chota Mangwa to see the oranges in full bloom, picking them and enjoying orange juice fresh from the orange garden is an experience worth of a lifetime. Chota Mangwa is an eco-tourism village, where the farmers mainly practice organic culture in terrace cultivation.  Beside oranges, loads of yellow hued, sweet and juicy lemons (Mausambi) also grow in Chota Mangwa.

Food to eat in West Bengal

Runglee Rungliot Tea Garden

Runglee Rungliot is one of the oldest brands of Duncans, named exclusively after the garden it is grown in near Takdah and Teesta Bazaar.  Legend has it those years ago, in search of the finest tea, a Buddhist monk stepped into our garden. Inhaling the aroma, and observing the light colour, he exclaimed ‘Runglee Rungliot’, which meant, ‘this far and no further’. Thus the name of the Tea Garden, Runglee Rungliot Tea Garden has ample amount of chinery plants along with it's own brand clonal bushes. Most of the people are a fan of AV2 cultivar, but here we bring you a very specialized tea made from "RR" cultivar. RR here denotes Runglee Rungliot, a clonal type which actually grows here. A lovely tea having its own fine characteristics quite different from AV2. One finds we are proud of this 2016 Second Flush.
