Reach Delhi where our representative will meet you and your arrangement to reach Haridwar will be provided by a luxurious AC Volvo bus that starts from Kashmere Gate Metro station in the evening. Let us know your arrival time in Delhi in advance so that we can book your tickets according to your given schedule.

Reach Haridwar by road in 3-4 hours and get transferred in your hotel for overnight stay and dinner.

We leave for Mansa Devi temple after breakfast, this temple is one of the most important temples of the Haridwar and of a great significance to Hindu religion. Devotees visiting the temple tie threads on a sacred tree near the temple seeking blessings of the goddess for fulfillment of their wishes. They return to untie a thread from the same free once their wishes are fulfilled. A two minute ropeway ride to Mansadevi shows you the scenic beauty of Haridwar from a distance.

After Mansadevi we cover other religious spots including Bilkeshwar Mahadev, Bharat Mata Mandir, Kankhal, Bhimgoda Tank, Doodhadhari Barfani Temple, Suresvari Devi Temple, Pawan Dham, Parad Shivling, Anandamayi Maa Ashram & Patanjali Yogpeeth.

In Evening we visit Har-ki-Pauri (the footstep of God) - one of the most sacred ghats both in Haridwar and in India to witness Ganga Aarti Ceremony of the Holy River Ganges. Aarti is the beautiful ceremony filled with holy Vedic chants and bhajans. The lamps floating in the river add to the beauty of this aarti in the evening.

After Ganga aarti we return to hotel for overnight and dinner.

Popular Restaurants – Har Pauri area in Haridwar is famous for local snacks and sweet shops along with the hot parathas that is served as lunch. Sweets like Malpua, Rabri, Jalebi and snacks like Samosa and Kachori are a must try.

 

Today leave for Rishikesh after breakfast, here we will be staying in an ashram and follow a simple life away from the luxury of air conditioned hotels and dinner buffets. In afternoon you are free to visit the markets and temples around the Triveni ghat area and attend Ganga aarti in the evening.

After aarti we will be meeting a scholar and get introduction classes on the philosophy and theories of Hindu religion and lifestyle.

Chotiwala group of restaurants are very famous in the markets of Rishikesh. There are many cheap eateries available in the market and alongside the ghats that mostly serve vegetarian food.

 

We visit the yoga center of the ashram for yoga class that will provide relaxation of body & mind. After relaxation learn about breath awareness exercise and stretching exercise this will be followed by a yogic breakfast. Day will be spent on introduction classes on various classes on philosophies of Hindu religion and you’ll take part in different ashram activities like cooking and gardening. In the evening we will meet a meditation instructor who will teach the basics of meditation.

Dinner and overnight stay in ashram 

Day will start with relaxation and learning various forms of asanas. After breakfast you are free for the day and you can go for a rafting trip for half a day near Rishikesh. In evening you’ll participate in Ashram activities like bhajan, kirtan and satsang, later meet a scholar and get an introduction class on tantra.

The day will end with dinner in the ashram.

Early morning practice yoga. After this you’ll be free for the day to visit the town or taking spa and massage in the spa center. You’ll attend meditation and question answer session in the evening which you course will terminate after we’ll leave for Delhi where you’ll be dropped at railway station or the airport and trip will end.

Haridwar is the site of the Maha Kumbh Mela, held every 12 years.

Rishikesh is the birthplace of yoga, a very popular place to visit for meditation. Triveni Ghat Rishikesh

Triveni Ghat is situated bank of the holy river Ganges, is a sacred ghat in Rishikesh famous for the Ganga Aarti. Triveni words come from join of two words Tri means three and Veni means confluence.

This scared ghat used for bath for most of pilgrims. The main daily event of the attraction is the evening Aarti of Goddess Ganga also commonly called as "Maha Aarti". Triveni Ghat, a confluence of three holy significant Rivers the Ganges, the Yamuna and the Saraswathy, is a most revered sacred bathing spot in Rishikesh and is situated on the banks of Ganges River. The Ghat is considered to be the cremation ground of Lord Krishna.

Triveni Ghat has a market also where you can get gems, precious and semi-precious stones, knickknacks, clothes, puja items. Also shops for religious goods, kullu topis, Nehru jackets, kurtas, salwar kameez and jewellery, bangles on the narrow streets. Mansa devi temple in Haridwar

Mansa devi : According to legends Goddess Mansa devi was the daughter of Kashyap Rishi who was born from his mind and therefore become famous by the name 'Mansa devi'. Mansa devi is known as the wish fulfilling goddess. The Mansa Devi temple happens to be one of the oldest holy places in the town of Haridwar. It is visited by tourists from all corners of the world and the temple occupies a wonderful position atop the Bilwa Parvat.

Mansa Devi Temple: It is located at a distance of 800 mt. from Har ki Pauri and 2km. for Bus stand or Railway station. Mansa Devi Temple by taking local Buses, rickshaws, Tongas or by hiring taxis from Haridwar. The temple is mostly popular for having wishes fulfilled. While visiting the temple, you can never miss a visit to a holy tree which lies close by. Pilgrims don't forget to tie threads around this tree. It is said that tying threads around the tree can fulfill one's wishes by the grace of goddess Mansa Devi.

Shops and markets: Close to the Mansa Devi temple are located a number of shops. These shops sell a variety of things which you can use as offerings at the temple. Visitors can purchase incense sticks, garlands and fruit to offer to goddess Mansa Devi, spouse of Nag Raja Vasuki.
