Day 01: Delhi to Haridwar (Approx 222 km/ 5.5 Hours)
Upon arrival at Delhi airport or railway station meets with our representative and they will take you to Haridwar which is the perfect place of peace and religious environment. Enroute Muzzaffar nagar you may have for lunch at nearest good Hotel & Restaurant then we continue this journey to Haridwar. Upon arrival check in to hotel and get freshen up after that you are free at your leisure and may visit for shopping at nearest market, stroll for nearby places and eating out as your interest. Later in the evening attend Ganga aarti at Har ki pauri ghat.

After having a lunch in Invitation Restaurant we will visit Gau Ghat, Parad Shivling, Bharat Mata Mandir , Maya devi temple and Vishnu Ghat, in evening return to your later return to hotel.

Kumbh Mela is organized every 12 years when the planet Jupiter (Brihaspati) comes into the sign Aquarius (Kumbha). Makar Sankranti in celebrated January by around 1.5 lakh visitors every year followed by Mahashivratri that is attended by more than 2 lakh pilgrims. During Kanwar Mela in July-Aug the number reaches up to 20 lakh visitors traveling to Haridwar from different cities.

Winter (about 17°C): The winter season comes in the month of October and lasts till the end of February. The chill in the atmosphere is at its best in the months of December/January. The highest temperature at the place recorded is about 17°C. The minimum temperature during the season is about 6°C.
Summer (about 40°C): The month of March brings the summer. The summer season here is quite hot and high on humidity. The maximum temperature recorded here is about 40°C. Vaishno Devi Temple: The temple is marked by tunnels and caves that lead to the inner sanctum containing the shrine of Goddess Vaishno Devi and it is a replica of the Vaishno Devi temple in Kashmir.
Mansa Devi Temple: It is one of the most famous tourist attractions in Haridwar and can be reached by a cable car and it is presiding over the Bilwa Parvat is the temple of Mansa Devi. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Mansa which is the goddess who fulfills wishes and has two prime idols of the Goddess in the main temple; one with three mouths and five arms, while the other one has eight arms. Another reason for the temple being famous is the spectacular view from the cable car.
Daksha Mahadev Temple: Daksha Mahadev Temple was built by Queen Dhankaur in 1810 and rebuilt in 1962. The temple’s location is one of the three disputed sites in India claiming to be the place where Goddess Sati’s father Daksha Prajapati conducted a yagna, leading to a chain of events. this place is a must visit for all devotees coming to Haridwar reason Maha Shivratri here is filled with festivity and devotion with thousands of devotees coming here during this time.
Chandi Devi Temple: Chandi Devi Temple is perched on Neel Parvat and Built by King Suchat Singh. To reach the temple one has to trek 3.0 kms from Chandi ghat or have to take the cable car. According to legends, it is the same place where Goddess Chandi killed Chanda-Munda, an army chief of the Demon Kings Sumbha and Nishumba. It is also believed that the main deity in the temple was established by the great saint Adi Shankarcharaya in the 8th century.
Har Ki Pauri: One of the most popular places in Haridwar, which was built by King Vikramaditya. It is believed that Vikramaditya ordered for this ghat to be constructed in the memory of his brother Bharthari. The most famed spot here is the Brahmakund, which is thronged by devotees from all over the country. Another major attraction of Har Ki Pauri is the evening Aarti that is organized each evening with great zeal. It is in fact one of those events in Haridwar that one should not miss out on. After the Aarti, devotees float Diyas in the River Ganga, which looks stunning in the evening light.
Pavan Dham: One of the most visited pilgrimage sites in Haridwar which is famous for its unique temple architecture and craftsmanship. The temple was built in 1970 by Swami Vedantanand ji Maharaj and the temple is also famous for the elaborately adorned idols. The unique and well crafted mirror and glass work is a marvel to behold.
Parad Shivling : This Mercury Shivling is located in Harihar Ashram in Kankhal. The waigth of shivling is about 150 kg. There is also "Rudraksha tree" nearby.
Bharat Mata Mandir : This temple belongs to Mother India. It was inaugurated by Indira Gandhi on 15 May 1983 near river Ganges. The temple has eight stories (180 feet/55 m). Every floor depicts a period in the Indian history, from the time of Ramayan until India's freedom.
Maya devi temple: Haridwar was previously known as Mayapuri in reverence to this deity. The temple is a Siddh Peetha which is the places of worship where desires get fulfilled. It is one of three such Peethas located in Haridwar, the other two being Chandi Devi Temple and Mansa Devi Temple.
Chilla Wildlife Sanctuary: This Wildlife Sanctuary is spread across 249 sq km east of Ganges. This wildlife sanctuary is home to small cats, tigers, elephants and bears apart from various birds.
Vishnu Ghat: One of the sacred and the most visited Ghats in Haridwar; Vishnu Ghat is named after the Hindu deity Lord Vishnu. It is considered a sacred place as Lord Vishnu took bath at this spot and the water is said to relive all sins.
Gau Ghat: Located across Subhash Ghat, is among the sacred sites of Haridwar. This ghat got its name from those who come here to pardon the sin of slaughtering cows. In addition, the ghat is also visited by those who want to offer solace to their near and dear ones. Gau Ghat is the same ghat where the ashes of Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru and Indira Gandhi were immersed.

Thickened Badam Milk: Boiled in a large open pan, the milk is continuously warmed with all the dry fruits and is served in an earthen pot (kulad) that gives another dimension to the taste of that milk. The milk once put in the pot is garnished with the milk cream (malai) the milk is boiled to such an extent that it turns pink in color and is served with malai which adds n number of stars to the richness of the flavor of this drink. Enjoy a kulad (an earthen pot) of hot milk warmed with almonds, raisins, pistas, kesar and cardamom seeds for the refreshing.

Chaat: For yummy Golgappas, Dahi Vadas, Aloo Tikiyas and Kanji Vadas, visit Jain Chaat Bhandaar. Their spicy and tangy Papri Chaat is a must try and makes for one of the most famous street foods of Haridwar.

Kulfi: It is the most popular frozen milk based dessert in India, made by thickening the milk so that it’s denser and creamier and then freezing it. Traditionally, Kulfi is served with Falooda (noodles/vermicelli), but you can also try Matka Kulfi or Kulfi on a stick like an ice cream bar. As the cold and creamy Kulfi explodes in your mouth releasing wondrous sweetness are available in various flavours (Malai, Kesar, Pista, Rose, Elaichi and Mango) and the other kinds, its silky texture leaves a rich aftertaste lingering behind.

Ashram in Haridwar
Saptrishi Ashram : Saptrishi Ashram is an attractive and traditional, a bit rundown ashram about 5 kilometers previous to Haridwar. It is a beautiful place near Haridwar, where 7 great sages or Saptarishis, namely Kashyapa, Vashisht, Atri, Vishwamitra, Jamadagni, Bharadwaja and Gautam said to have meditated. Ganga, not wanting to agitate them and make possible each her simple approach prefers rather divides herself into seven conduits around each Rishi, and these are known by Sapt Sarovar and these Sarovar flows in the front of Sapt Rishi Ashrams which is positioned next to the Haridwar Rishikesh road.
Soham Ashram : The famed Soham Ashram was founded by the very important spiritual leader known by the name of Soham Swami. Soham Swami was a big spiritual leader and yogi of India. He was in this world previous to the 1st part of the 20th century. The original name of this saintly figure was Shayamakanta Bandopadhya. He was a believer and preacher of the Advaita Vedantic philosophy. The ashram that he built in Haridwar is situated at Bhupatwal. Soham Swami built an ashram named as Soham Ashram in both in Nainital and Haridwar.
Prem Nagar Ashram : Prem Nagar Ashram is one of the holiest cities in the country which is Established in 1944 by Yogiraj Satgurudev Shri Hans Ji Maharaj. The ashram was made by his own devotees, who toiled hard to make Shri Hans Ji Maharaj's vision come true. Maa Anandamayi Ashram: Anandamayi Ma Ashram is sited in Kankhal one of the five sub-cities of Haridwar, the ashram houses the smaadhi shrine of Sri Anandamoyi Ma (1896-1982), a noted saint of India. Twilight aarti and satsangs perform here, by the ashramvasi and the followers are fairly gripping.
Jairam Ashram : Jairam Ashram is situated on the Rishikesh road in Haridwar. It is to be found at Bhimgoda approximately 1 kilometer from Har-Ki-Pauri.
