7 day Trip Itinerary for Gujarat Jain Pilgrimage tour package
Day 1 – Ahmedabad
Our representatives will pick you up from Railway station/Airport and will transfer you to the hotel. We will visit Hathising Jain temple in Ahmedabad. This temple is built in a large compound consisting of 52 temples. This temple was is dedicated to 15th Jain Trithanakara Shree Dharmnath. The temple is known for its architectural and intricate carvings on the walls of the temple.
Day 2 –Ahmedabad – Mahudi – Vadanagar – Taranga Hill - Kumbhariyaji - ShamlaJi temple.
Today we will leave early morning after breakfast and visit Mahudi. It is a major Jain Pilgrimage located 35 kms away from Gandhinagar and at a distance of 70 kms from Ahmedabad. Shri Ghantakarna Mahavir temple here is visited by millions of pilgrims of Jain religion. From here we will proceed to Vadanagar that is at a distance of 40 km from Mahudi and is located in Mehsana region. This is another Jain pilgrimage with historic significance as well. It consists of 12th century Torans, Solanki period gates with intricate designs, lake, old havelis and Jain temples. Kumbhariyaji and Dilwara Jain temple are two of the popular Jain temples here.
Taranga Hill is 20 km away from Vadanagar, this place has caves where Buddhist monks used to live thousands of years ago. Taranga hill is famous for Buddhist sculptures and statues. From here we will proceed to Kumbharyaji that is situated in Ambaji. Ambaji is famous for one of the 51 Shaktipeeths, Kumbharyaji is nearby the Ambaji temple and is a series of Jain Temples with intricate marble carvings. The Main Deity here is a 7 feet high, white colored idol of Bhagawan Neminatha in the Padmasana posture.
From here we will return to Ahmedabad for overnight stay and dinner in hotel.
Day 3 – Ahmedabad – Bhavnagar
Today we will check out from Hotel and drive for Bhavnagar, upon arrival you’ll be transferred to the hotel for check in after which we will visit the city for sightseeing. Takhteshwar Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva and Gandhi Smriti. We will later return to hotel for overnight and dinner.
Day 4 –Bhavnagar – Palitana
We will check out from the hotel early morning after breakfast we will drive to Palitana, the most important place of Jain pilgrims. This entire region is decorated with around 5100 big and small temples. We will also be going for a trek to Mount Shatrunjaya where there are many small temples and a museum

Day 5 –Palitana – Somnath
Today we will check out from hotel and drive for Somnath. In our way we will visiting Swaminarayan Temple and Bhuvneshvary Ayurvedic Library in Gondal.
Swaminarayan temple was constructed in 1934 by Shastriji Maharaj there are many idols of different gurus and imporatant figures that include Dhami, Guru Parampara, Dham, Mukta, Ghanshyam Maharaj and Sukh Shayya.
Bhuvaneshwari Ayurvedic Pharmacy was Founded in 1910 by Gondal’s royal physician, this pharmacy manufactures ayurvedic medicines and the entire operation can be seen in the premises.
From here we will drive for Somnath and upon reaching we will check in hotel. Later we will visit Somnath temple and then return hotel for overnight stay and dinner.
Day 6 - Somnath –Dwarka
Today we check out from hotel and drive for Dwarka, upon reaching we will check in for stay in hotel. We will spend our day visiting temples here and then return to the hotel for overnight and dinner.

Dwarakadheesh temple: This is the main temple dedicated to Lord Krishna is famous for the structure along with Morning and Evening aarti.
Nageshwar Temple: This temple is built in a forested region that is popularly known as Daruka van. Its references can be traced in one of the famous Sanskrit Shlokas that describes the locations of 12 important Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva.
Gopi Talav: A famous place where it is said that Lord Krishna used to play with Gopis
Bet Dwarka: This is an island,that is said to be the original site of Lord Krishna’s Dwarkapuri.
Rukmini temple: This temple is situated at a distance of 2 Kms from Dwarakadheesh temple is the temple dedicated to Rukmini Devi Ji, the wife of Shri Krishna.
Day 7 – Dwarka – Ahmedabad
Today we will drive for Ahmedabad after checking out from the hotel where the you’ll be dropped at Railway station/airport and the trip will end.
