Visit many famous places in Chennai such as the museum of Art and Bronze gallery which is closed on Fridays and Public holidays. After the drive through the flower and the fruit market, high court, Fort museum, Marina beach, Santhome cathedral and the snake park.

Kanchipuram:

Kanchipuram is a very ancient capital of the Pallavas which was as famous as a city with 1000 temples and still has 124 shrines left as a beautiful example of that ancient skill and artwork. The first temple is dedicated to Shiva which was built in the 7^th and the 8^th century and has many paintings of it on the walls. Temples of Ekambaswara, Kailasanatha, Sri Kamakshi and Varadarajaswamy are different places of interest to visit.

Mahabalipuram:

Mahabalipuram is famous for seven pagodas. Ancient rock Hewn temples are quite an example of Dravidian style of architecture.

Pondicherry:

Pondicherry is famous for places like Auroville, Panjavadi temple, Aurobindo Ashram, Manakkula Vinayakar temple, botanical gardens, Pondicherry museum, Chunnamar boating and Pondicherry beach.

Tanjore:

Thanjavur or Tanjore is an important hub of South Indian art, and structural design. The Great Living Chola Temples, which are under UNESCO World Heritage Monuments, are to be found in and around Thanjavur. The foremost among them, the Brihadeeswara Temple, is centrally located in the city. Thanjavur is also abode to Tanjore painting, unique to the region.

Madurai:

It is famous for places like the great Meenakshi temple that is devoted to the spouse of Lord Shiva with its lofty Gopurams.  The famous Tirumala Nayak Palace is a cordial building in the Indo Saracenic style and is famous for its work of Stucco in the domes and the arches. The Alagar hills and tirupara kundran rock temple are equally worth seeing.

Rameswaram:

Famous for its Temple built after Lord Rama as he worshipped Lord Shiva, when he returned from Sri Lanka, after killing Ravana.

Morning – We set out for the visit to Rameswaram Temple, commonly recognized as the Varanasi of the South, take a bath in the sea at Dhanushkodi is measured holy and spiritual.

Afternoon and Evening - Visit Sree Ramanatha Swami Temple, the passageway of the temple is the greatest in the Country. En route we will also make tourists visit Kothandaraswary Temple, Adam’s Bridge, Gandhamadana Parvatam

Food – South Indian cuisines and delicacies in the breakfast and you can have your lunch in any popular restaurant.

Late Night: Back to hotel at Madurai and stay overnight.

Day 8 Madurai

Morning – Late breakfast and leisure time.
