Bhopal Pachmarhi Holiday Package - Package Itinerary

On arrival at Bhopal airport, you will be picked up and check in to the hotel, rest for a while and leave for a sightseeing tour to visit the tourist attractions of the capital city of Madhya Pradesh. Visit the Laxmi Narayan Temple, Taj-ul Masjid, Shaukat Mahal, National Museum of Mankind and by the evening visit the upper and Lower Lakes.

After that return to the hotel and enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at your hotel.

After breakfast proceed to see unfinished temples of Bhojpur and see Highest Shivling in Bhojpur, spend some time on the river bank and proceed to Sanchi, Witness one of the oldest stupas of India, Sanchi Stupa which was built 2000 years ago.

Return to your hotel in the afternoon, freshen up and then leave for a visit to Sadar Manzil, Moti Masjid, the Upper and Lower Lakes.

Stay overnight at the hotel.

After breakfast you will be picked up from hotel and transferred to Pachmarhi. On arrival at Pachmarhi, check in to the hotel and after lunch you will visit Pandav Caves.

In the evening, you can go for horse riding or a camel ride. Stay overnight at the hotel in Pachmarhi.

After breakfast, proceed for a full-day guided sightseeing tour to the natural wonders of Pachmarhi, which includes Priyadarshini (Forsyth Point), Bee Fall, Handi Khoh and Fairy pool. After lunch, proceed to Dhoopgarh for a beautiful view of the sunset. Later in the evening, explore the beautiful market of Pachmarhi.

PACHMARHI Attractions Covered in Package

Handi Khoh: A grand gorge with a 300 feet towering cliff amid dense woodland, Handi Khoh in the region of Panchmarhi is gifted with spectacular panorama. The clinging rock face of this gulch is a haven of large beehives. A profound timbered jungle surrounds this exquisite place. This place is strongly allied with the myths and blessings of Lord Shiva.

Apsara Vihar (Fairy Pool): A usual bathing puddle shaped by a petite cascade, Apsara Vihar of Pachmarhi is positioned in close proximity to the Pandav fissures. Although next to the fall the pond is more intense, at the ending it is petty and this feature makes it a favorite picnic destination of visitors.

Pandava Caves: Nestled on a miniature hummock Pandava caverns in Panchmarhi are assumed to have been a sanctuary of the Pandavas for the period of their separation. Now a secluded memorial, Pandav grottos have been engraved from a stumpy hillock. These five caverns also housed a shelter to Buddhist preachers in the epoch of 1st century.

Bee Fall: A spectacular waterfall in the stream which also provides drinking water to Pachmarhi. It is also known as "Jamuna Prapat". The pools at above the waterfall in the stream are very popular. Must visit place at Pachmarhi.

Dhoopgarh: The highest point in the Satpura range at Pachmarhi, with a magnificent view of the surrounding ranges. A very popular spot for viewing sunsets. Must visit place at Pachmarhi.

BHOPAL Attractions Covered in Package

Sanchi Visit : - First you will visit Sanchi located 45 km northeast of Bhopal and visit stupas, monasteries, temples and pillars dating from 3rd century BC to 12th century AD. Sanchi is an ancient place of pilgrimage for Buddhists and its uniqueness lies in the fact that Buddha is not represented through figures, but through symbols. The lotus represents the Buddha's birth, the tree signifies his enlightenment and the wheel represents his attainment of nirvana (salvation). Buddha's presence is marked by the footprints and the throne. Sanchi was rediscovered by a British officer in 1818 and later in 1912 restoration work at the site was done in earnest.

Lower Lake Bhopal: The Lower Lake of Bhopal locally known as "Chhota Talab" is located in the tranquil surroundings of the magnificent hills. The lake is separated from the Upper Lake by an over-bridge. The lake also provides an opportunity for adventure water sports such as sailing, motor boating, rowing etc.

Upper Lake Bhopal: The Upper Lake of Bhopal is a huge water reservoir that lies in the Western part of the city. The lake is considered to be the biggest lake in Madhya Pradesh. Seeing this "Bada Talaab" one goes absolutely speechless. The lake is the major man-made drinking source for the residents of the city.

Museum of Mankind Bhopal : This Museum present an integrated story of the evolution of man and culture with special reference to India. It spreads over an area of about 200 acres on the Shyamla Hills in the city. This museum depicts the story of mankind in time and space.
