Hanoi Old Quarter: At the beginning of the 20th century the city consisted of only about 36 streets, most of which are now part of the old quarter. Each street then had merchants and households specialised in a particular trade, such as silk traders, jewellery, etc.

Van Phuc Silk Village: the centuries-old craft of silk production. This is a great chance to visit many silk shops and shopping for silk products at very good price. Enjoy an ancient view of a Northern Vietnamese village, with communal house and well, lotus pond, ancient banyan tree, and a market.

Bat Trang Pottery Village: It has been famous for its ceramics for a thousand years, particularly dinnerware and ornamental ware. Arrive Bat Trang, you visit Bat Trang Communal House (outside only) and take a walk to discovery ancient town of Bat Trang through narrow street to witness the art of making ceramic. Stop at local cottage industry and try to making your own ceramic product under guidance of artisans. After finishing your shape, you will visit the market to explore the variety of ceramic products while waiting for your product dried. Walk back to local cottage industry to complete your work by painting which is instructed under artisans.

Vietnam visa upon arrival

  • Passport details (Full name as appeared in your passport, date of birth, passport number, issued date, expried date) and arrival and departure dates for each individual are sent by e-mail or fax to Holiday Travel no later than 4 working days prior to departure date to Vietnam.

  • Holiday Travel submits the details to the Immigration Department, which usually takes 3 working days for processing.

  • The Immigration Department notifies Holiday Travel of the visa approval and return to Holiday Travel.

  • Holiday Travel sends a faxed copy of the approval to the agent or directly to the individual concerned.

  • Group or individual show this copy to the immigration officer/airlines counter at intermediate airport for check-in flight to any destination in Vietnam.

  • Upon arrival the group or individual will need to go to "LANDING VISA" counter where their visa will be processed. They need to fill in a form (02 passport sized photos required) and get the visa stamped by Immigration Officer. The visa stamping fee ($US 25 per person) is paid directly to Immigration Officer by you.
