Start the tour from Mumbai Airport / Railway station and drive to Alibag. It is around 100 km and take 2-3 hours to arrive. After arrival visit some local sightseeing of Alibag like Alibag Beach, Kihim Beach, Nagaon beach. In between your visit have lunch and some rest at Fulora Resturant. After that check into hotel, rest of the day is for your leisure and overnight stay at Hotel.
Alibag Beach: Among all the beaches, Alibaug Beach has the blackest sand deposits. There is a mazhar of Ali Shah Bawa in the middle of the town and the beach has been named after him. Tourists can have a beautiful view of the Kolaba Fort from this beach
Nagaon beach: Nagaon Beach is a beautiful beach situated 7 km from Alibaug on Alibaug-Revdanda route in the Raigad District of Maharashtra. The beach is surrounded by suru trees and cypress grove and is visited by number of tourists for its clean water. Water sports like boat ride, kayaking and island trips can also be enjoyed by the tourists.
Kihim Beach : The Kihim Beach is 12Km from Alibaug. The Kihim Beach retains its natural beauty as it is an undiscovered land. Beautiful migratory and resident birds are found in abundance at the beach, which attract tourists in large number.Kolaba Fort is situated in the vicinity of the beach and can be seen from a distance. Travellers visiting the sight can see tents with modern facilities present at the beach.

After breakfast proceed to visit other local sightseeing of Alibag like Kulaba Fort, Kanakeshwar Forest, Mandwa Beach, Akshi Beach, Vikram Vinakyak Temple, Undheri Fort, In between your visit have lunch and some rest at Fulora Resturant. In evening came back to hotel and overnight stay at hotel.
Kanakeshwar Forest : The beautiful, dense and majestically mesmerizing lush green Kanakeshwar Forest is known for its richness and abundance of flora and fauna. Poisonous snakes, Panthers, Leopards, Wild boars can be spotted here roaming around the forest.
Mandwa Beach: Mandwa Beach is located 20 km north of Alibaug and is thronged by number of tourists. The village of Mandwa, which is also located nearby, attracts visitors due to the presence of dense coconut trees. Chaul is also a popular tourist spot situated near the beach.

Places to visit around Alibaug
Akshi Beach: The beach is frequented by tourists in large number as a variety of birds and different flora can be seen at the beach. Akshi Beach has clean water and is ideal for swimming purposes. It is a white sand beach with numerous suru trees present along the coast
Vikram Vinakyak: Vikram Vinakyak is 20Km from Alibag. This temple is situated across the Revdanda Bridge and is surrounded by beautiful garden and fountains. Located on a small hillock, the temple can be reached by climbing the well paved stairs.
The Kaneshwar Devasthan: This Temple is a well-known Shiva Temple. It is located about 12 km away from Alibag and is situated at a height of a dizzying 900 feet, atop a hill. Worshippers and pilgrims set upon a journey of a 500 stairs-climb that takes them to the imposing deity of Lord Shiva. The temple was constructed by Raja Ramdev Yadav. The temple premises are beautifully done. It consists of several small temples dedicated to Sri Hanuman, Sri Balram Krishna and Sri Paleshwar. There’s also a Bheem Kunda – a flower garden – and a Nagaar Khana. A fair is organized on the auspicious event of Karthik Poornima annually here.
Someshwar temple: Someshwar Temple is an ancient Hindu temple in Akshi, which is situated at a distance of 3 km from Alibaug. It was built by Satavahana rulers and the structure reflects the architectural style of their ruling period
Best Time to Visit Alibag
November to July is the best time to visit Alibaug to enjoy the beaches. Between August to October one can enjoy clear rainy days exposing the lush green beauty of Alibaug. But do note that boat service between Mumbai and Alibaug is not functional during the rainy season.
Nagaon Beach Alibaug Water sports
Nagaon Beach is nice clean beach. The slope is gentle so you can go considerable deep into the sea waters. There are water sports available. You can get cricket bat, badminton rackets, football on rent on hourly basis. 300 Rs deposit 20 Rs per hour charges. Quite worth. There are changing rooms and hot water available for bath at 20-30 Rs charge. For lunch/dinner you get good food at Mahesh lunch home. The fish there is very tasty. The only drawback of the beach is it is very crowded. Being near and easily reachable from Mumbai and Pune people throng on weekends.

By Train: The Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus railway station is Mumbai's main rail head. It is well connected to all major cities and is also the main railway station for the local trains running within the city. Mumbai is well linked with other parts of the country by a huge network of trains.
