Dalhousie, Himachal Pradesh, is a honeymooner’s paradise. Dalhousie, Himachal Pradesh, India is the very beautiful Hill Station in Himachal Pradesh. It is named after the British governor General of the 19th century, Lord Dalhousie. Dalhousie is a gateway to the ancient Chamba Hill State, now Chamba District of the Himachal Pradesh, India.
Spectacular snow-covered Dhauladhar mountains are also visible form this enchanting town. Dalhousie was popular with the British Army personnel in 1860's. By road Dalhousie is about 550 km from Delhi, 52 km from Chamba via Banikhet and 43 km via Khajjiar and the nearest railheads at Pathankot & Chakki bank railway station are approximate 85 km. The summer temperatures are mild and light woolens / cottons are recommended & in winter, the temperature can drop to freezing point when heavy woolens are required.
Chamera Dam Boating site

Punjpulla
Punjpulla, a picturesque spot with a natural tank and water flowing under small bridges from which the place takes its name. At Punjpulla, there is a 'Samarak' in the memory of Sardar Ajit Singh. On the way to Punjpulla is Satdhara springs gurgling with refreshing water.
Kalatope Sanctuary
The spot commands a beautiful and grand panoramic view of the surrounding landscape and eye travels wide over hill and dale, field and forest, smooth and ruggedness. The place comes under a Wild life sanctuary known as Kalatope Khajjiar Sanctuary.
Khajjiar
Referred as the Mini Switzerland of India is one of the finest Saucer shaped meadows lined by tall Deodar Trees and a Lake in the middle with over a 500 year old Wooden Nag Temple near to the Lake.
Bhadrakali Mata Temple
The mighty Bhadrakali temple of Bhalai Mata, the local deity, is much respected and revert place of Chamba district. It is known fact that a visit to the shrine grants all wishes that one might have in mind. It is a worth seeing site and must be visited.
Bholani Mata

The town has four old churches like St. John's Church ( 1853 ), St. Francis' Church ( 1894 ), St. Andrew's Church ( 1903 ) and St. Patrick’s Church ( 1909 )
Jandri Ghat
Just 2kms is the place of the rulers of erstwhile Chamba State, is located and surrounded by tall pine trees, is a place worth visiting. Jandari Ghat commands a panoramic view of snow covered Pir Panjal Range and other surrounding hills.
