Mandagadde Bird Sanctuary: Mandagadde Bird Sanctuary is an island located near the Mandagadde village which is 30 km from the Shimoga town in Shimoga district in the Indian state of Karnataka. It is basically a small island on River Tunga located at a distance of 32 Kms from the city. The Sanctuary is a home to several migratory birds like egret, darter, cormorant, snake-bird, etc. It is blessed with rich and varied flora and fauna.
