Trips/Walks around Kasol

•     Malana - You can either trek all of it or drive to the water dam point and then trek. The trip will start from Jari (10 KM from Kasol towards Bhuntar). Please read about Malana before you plan a trip.

•     Kalga and Pulga - Two beautiful villages, about an hour walk each from Barshaini (the last point on the bus route Manali - Kullu - Bhuntar - Jari - Kasol - Manikaran - Barshaini) Note: If you are planning to do these as a day trip, make sure you get back to Barshaini by 5PM, the time of the last bus - there are delays almost everyday and this last bus finally departs around 530PM. In case you miss it, you can get a taxi for about 600 Rs (same factors will apply as mentioned above in the post)

•     Kheerganga - heard its good but planned to skip it due to lack of time. The route is through Barshaini.
