Day1: Arrival at Srinagar and check in at the House Boat

Guests are received at the Airport/Bus stand and are taken to the House Boat for Check-in. The guest can spend the day at their leisure sitting in the balcony attached to their houseboat or proceed to nearby  Lal Chowk for the souvenir shopping. There are some decent shops selling woolen shawls and a small woodwork articles in Lal Chowk( City cenre and main shopping market).Dinner is the traditional affair at the house boat itself.

Day2:Visit to the awe-inspiring Gardens and Shikara Ride on Dal Lake

After the breakfast at the House-Boat proceed to the “Marvels” created by the Mughals in 17^th century. Houseboats in Srinagar

With all the amenities of hotels, houseboats are the accommodations on the boat edged around the Dal Lake and Nagin Lake. Depending upon the amenities provided by the owner they are ranged from budget to luxuriously types by Department of tourism of Srinagar. Usually made from Cedar wood and serviced by the owner, the houseboats have sundeck attached to it as a sit out area. The interiors are furnished with carpets and rugs by the local craftsmen. The house boats range from 2-5 bedrooms with common dining and lobby area. The couple can have one of the many bedrooms while the whole houseboats are lent to bigger groups.

Nishant Bagh

Shalimar Bagh and Nishant Bag are adjacent to each other and are about 5.5 km away from the Dal lake and 11km from city centre.Nishant Bagh was curated by Asif Khan( relative of Shah Jahan) it was built in middle of seventeen centaury. With mountain in its backdrop and a Lake as a part of its landscape it is essentially a terrace garden with about 11 terraces.

Shalimar Bagh

As an ode of love for his queen NoorJahan, it was built by Mughal Emperor Shahjahan in 1619, before Nishant Bagh. Built with the influence of Persian architecture, it is the complex of fountains, terraces and cascading waterfalls. It is recommended to visit this Arcadia of Heaven in spring when the flowers blossoms and a carpet of green verdures are laid down by Mother Nature in this Garden.

Dal Lake

The venue for numerous song sequence of Bollywood movies Dal lake is the complex of lakes, numerous causeways and channels. Day 2 - Srinagar :

Day 4 - Srinagar - Pahalgam :
