Day 01: Arrived at Patna airport or railway station
After arrival at patna airport or railway station meet with our representative and they will transfer you to hotel. After freshen up and get ready you will visit the famous places of Patna which includes Golghar, Jalan Museum, Nalanda University and Buddha Smriti Park, in the evening back to hotel. Golghar: Golghar is a fine specimen of the architectural splendor of the land. Captain John Garstin built Golghar in the year 1786 to use as a granary to store grain when famine hit the city. The architecture bears resemblance of the Stupa style. With 125 meters width and 3.6 meters thick Golghar also owned the pride of being the tallest building in Patna at that time. Jalan Museum: Jalan Museum is located near the banks of River Ganges. Constructed in the year 1919, the museum reflects the extraordinary effects taken by Diwan Bahadur Radha Krishna The building, which was damaged in an earthquake in 1934, was transformed into a beautiful museum. The collections in the museum sum up to nearly 10000 objects from various parts of the world. Some of the artefacts found here include old sculptures, idols belonging to various periods, furniture and many more.the special collections include palanquin of Tipu Sultan, Humayun’s sword, Chinese idols dating back to 7th century, Venice crystals and jade stones belonging to 200 BC

Buddha Smriti Park: The budhha stupa is vey famous piligrimagr center were most of the people visited from every corner of the world Buddha Smriti Park was inaugurated in the year 2010 by Dalai Lama. The park was promoted by the government of Bihar to commemorate Lord Buddha’s 2554th birth anniversary. Covering a massive 22 acres of land, the park is breathtaking to look at. The 200 feet tall stupa situated at the centre of the park is an important attraction. Relics from Japan, Thailand, Srilanka and South Korea are preserved in the glass case in the stupa.
Day 02: City tour of Patna

Patna Museum: Patna Museum is situated near city center It was constructed in the year 1917 and it is the oldest museum in the city. Influences of Mughal and Rajput style of architecture are evident in the construction of the museum. Though the museum possesses over 45000 artefacts, owing to space restraint, a minor percentage of the possessions are on display. Gandhi Jaivik Udyan: Sanjay Gandhi Jaivik Udyan is located off Bailey Road in Patna, Bihar The park is Patna's most frequented picnic spot, The zoo is currently home to over 800 animals of about 110 species, including tiger, leopard, clouded leopard, hippopotamus, crocodile, elephants, Himalayan black bear, jackal, black bucks, spotted deer, peafowl, hill myna, gharial, python, Indian rhinoceros, giraffe, zebra, emu, and white peacock the aquarium has about 35 species of fish, and the snake house has 32 snakes belonging to 5 species.

Sonepur Mela
The sprawling mela ground here with the pulsating market has the widest possible range of cattle and commodities. The area of shops sells all sorts of merchandise. Sonepur Fair is the only one of its kind where a large number of elephants are sold and trading must be took place for animals and cattles. Various folk shows, games and jugglers can be seen at the fair.
Day 04: City tour of Sonepur

Sangam: It is the confluence of Rivers Ganga and Gandak. The River Gandak originates from the glaciers at Nepal-Tibet border. The River drains Nepal, passes through Royal Chitwan National Park (Nepal), Valmiki Tiger Reserve (Bihar) and finally merges in River Ganga at Sonepur. It is also known as Gandaki, Kali Gandaki or Narayani River.
Vaishali: Vaishali is located on the shores of the Gandak River. It is a sacred place for Buddhists and Jains as the presiding deities of the region are Lord Buddha and Lord Mahavira. This place is believed to be the birth place of Lord Mahavira.

About Sonepur mela
Sonepur mela is also known as Harihar Kshetra Mela the famed cattle fair is held at Sonepur, in Northern Bihar on the banks of the River Ganga, it starts in a month of November till December and take place for one month. It gets underway on the auspicious Hindu holy occasion of Kartik Purnima Sonepur fair were elephants, camels, cows, buffaloes, horses, dogs, birds, sheep, rabbits, guinea pigs are traded. The Sonepur Fair has unique and historical importance. It is famous for its large gathering of pilgrims, elephants, horses races, chiriya bazaar (bird market), and one of the largest cattle and livestock market in India.
Why Sonepur cattle mela is celebrated
There is a top reason behind this fair why this fair is celebrated. In ancient times the Royal Rajahs and Nawabs used to camp here. Sonepur Fair has ancient origins back to the rule of India's first Emperor Chandragupta Maurya, who used to buy elephants and horses from it for his army. The Fair also commemorates the intervention of Lord Vishnu to end a great curse and long fight between elephant and crocodile in Hindu mythology. The elephant was saved, after bathing in the river and being attacked by the crocodile, by Lord Vishnu traditionally known as a cattle fair.
