Day 01: Arrived at Gwalior airport or railway station
Arrived at Gwalior airport or Railway station and meet with our representative and they will transfer you to hotel. After freshen up and get ready you will visit for city tour which includes Gwalior Fort, Saas Bahu Temple, Memorial Of Tansen and Teli Ka Mandir. In the evening visit the Sound Light Show in Gwalior - In the evening witness the spectacular sound and light show where the history of Gwalior and its warriors is narrated. Later in the Day , visit Jehangir Mahal built by Raja Bir Singh Ju Deo, Raj Mahal and Chaturbhuj temple. Orchha's fort complex, the entrance of which is a multi-arched bridge, has three impressive palaces placed in an open quadrangle.
The Raj Mahal was built by Madhukar Shah, the religious predecessor of Bir Singh Ju Deo. One of the city's greatest attractions is the Chaturbhuj Temple, which is situated right opposite the Raja Mahal. Dedicated to the four-armed deity, Chaturbhuj (Chaturbhuj literally means four-armed), the temple has plenty of light and space inside, a feature unusual for a Hindu temple.

Day 03: Orchha to Khajuraho (178 kms / approx. 5 hour drive)
Early morning, drive to Khajuraho. On arrival, check into your hotel in Khajuraho. In the afternoon proceed on a temple tour visiting the Kandariya Mahadeo Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva.
The other temples of interest are Chausath Yogini, Chitragupta etc. each with its own history and presiding deity. The most awesome and the largest temple in Khajuraho, Kandariya Mahadev Temple is built in around 1025–1050 AD. A typical sandstone structure, the temple is dedicated to Shiva with a linga at the center of the Garbha Griha. The elaborately engraved main shrine is bejeweled with more than 800 images, of which most of them are three feet high. The most elegant and famous temple also houses some of the fantastically ornate frescos on its wall, which speaks out the artistic grandeur of the bygone days.
Chausath Yogini, is the oldest surviving temple in the group (900 A.D.), this is the sole granite temple dedicated to Goddess Kali. Only 35 of the original 65 cells remain and no image of Kali has survived : not surprisingly, since this is the earliest surviving shrine of the group dated to 900 AD. Another Kali temple, which was originally dedicated to Lord Vishnu, is the Devi Jagdambe temple.
An ancient shrine, dedicated to Lord Surya, Chitragupta Temple faces eastwards to the rising sun. A 11th century old monument this temple enshrines an impressive 5 ft high image of Lord Surya in a standing posture driving a chariot of seven horses. Fabulously carved walls, which depicts voluptuous and full figured sura-sundaris, erotic couples, image of lord Vishnu in the 11 headed form, Chitragupta Temple really provides a rare feast to the viewer.

Day 04: Khajuraho - Panna - Khajuraho (60 kms / approx. 2 hour drive)

If you are lucky, you could sight tigers and panthers along with herds of chinkara, sambar and several other wildlife species. The spectacular Pandav Falls en route and other waterfalls in the area are popular picnic spots.

How to Reach Gwalior
By Air : Gwalior is well connected by air from Bhopal, Mumbai, Delhi and Indore.
By Rail : The easiest way to get to Gwalior is definitely by train. Gwalior lies on the main rail routes between Delhi-Mumbai and Delhi-Chennai and is a halt for a number of north-south and north-west bound trains. The journey to Gwalior from Delhi is comfortably short as two superfast trains, the Taj Express and the Shatabdi Express have daily morning services to Gwalior. Both trains return to Delhi each night, making it ideal for day-trippers. The ride by the Shatabdi takes around 3 hours from Delhi and by the Taj Express, approximately 41/2 hours. Both trains travel via Agra, which is just an hour and half away.
By Bus: You could drive into Gwalior from the rest of India and Madhya Pradesh. There are regular bus services connecting major cities including Agra (118 km), Bhopal (423 km), Delhi (318 km), Indore (486 km), Khajuraho (280 km) and Sanchi (344 km) to Gwalior. But the state run transport buses are not very comfortable or quick, though the low cost of fares often compensates the budget traveller.
