Day 1: Arrive at Shimla Airport and Enjoy Shimla Sightseeing
On arrival, we start a scenic drive from the Shimla airport to towards the town. After checking in at the hotel, visit the famous Mall road of Shimla. The Mall makes for a great getaway for food and shopping lovers.
Next, visit the Scandal Point and Jhakoo Temple on the Mall road. The Scandal point is where romance and love flourishes in the beautiful lavish green surroundings of Shimla. Believed to be holding the footprints of Lord Hanuman, the Jakhoo Temple is an ancient temple on a hillside.
Return to your hotel for a mouth-watering dinner. Overnight in the hotel.

Day 2: Full Day Sightseeing in Shimla
Post breakfast, set out for a day-long excursion to Kufri. It is a small but charming hill station at a short distance from Shimla.
Kufri is where the annual winter sports festival is held every year in February. It is the most popular sightseeing place in Shimla because of the adventures activities held here such as skiing and tobogganing where you slide downhill on a sled. Kufri has Himachal Pradesh’s oldest skiing slopes.
For wildlife lovers and nature enthusiasts, the Himalayan Nature Park is the place to be at. It is located on the outskirts of the town. The Park houses over 180 varieties of flora and fauna.
You can also opt for an excursion to Naldehra. It’s old English style cottages, spruce pines and popular golf course is a must see. The Golf course is the oldest in India.
Head back to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 3: Shimla to Manali
After an early breakfast, depart for Manali by road. While you drive to Manali, enjoy the 260 km. long road journey by breathing in the scenic beauty of enchanting Kullu Valley. Once you check in at a hotel in this beautiful hill station in Himachal Pradesh, head out for sightseeing.
Manali is known for the gushing River Beas that runs through it and of course the endearing landscape.
Head to the Manali sanctuary. It is set on a land whose path crosses through walnut, deodar, kail, maple and horse chestnut forests. Musk deer, brown bear, monal, leopard and snow leopard are some of the common animals seen here.
After spending an ecstatic day, drive back to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 4: Day Excursion to Rohtang Pass
After early breakfast, enjoy an alluring drive to Snow Point, before heading on the road to Rohthang Pass. In winter, the hill slopes are cladded with snow turning it into a perfect skiing slopes. This point is one of the must visit attraction in Manali. Rohtang Pass holds strategic importance and is known for its scenic beauty.
The Pass offers beautiful sights of peaks, glaciers, Lahaul Valley and the Chandra River. The twin peaks of Geypan can also be seen from Rohtang.
Later you can visit the very famous Solang Valley. It is famous as the preferred location for adventure activities in Himachal Pradesh.; there is no place better than Solang in Kullu Valley for those who love the rush of adrenaline. Indulge in skating, parachuting, paragliding and zorbing. The place’s apple orchards, lush greenery, snow-capped peaks and lakes attracts innumerable travellers.
Return to hotel and enjoy dinner and overnight in hotel.
Day 5: Explore Manali
Post a quick breakfast, head out to visit Hadimba Temple, Manu Mandir and the Vashisth Kund. Hadimba temple is also called the Doongri Temple. It is a pagoda like wooden temple that is four tiered, standing tall in between deodar trees with beautifully craved ornamental door.
Manu Mandir is located in the old Manali region. This may be the only temple of Manu in India. The path that leads to the temple premises is made up of greasy pebbled sand stones and is very enchanting.
Located across the Beas River, the Vashistha springs are about 3 km away from Manali. Set at an altitude of 1,982 meters, they are the natural sulphur hot springs.
Later, enjoy the evening on the mall road where you can buy handicrafts and souvenirs and handicrafts.
Overnight in hotel.
Day 6: Manali to Dalhousie (350 km / 8 hrs)
Post an early breakfast, take a long drive from Manali to Dalhousie. The drive covers a distance of 350 kms before finally reaching Dalhousie.
Check in at the hotel and set out in the evening to see the Kalatop Wildlife Sanctuary.
It is home to a wide variety of fauna and flora. Leopard, deer, bear, langur, Himalayan Black Marten, jackal, Barking Goral and countless beautiful birds can easily be spotted here.
Later, return to the hotel for a good night’s sleep.

Day 7: Explore Dalhousie
Once you finish breakfast, start your day by visiting Khajjiar. It is a beautiful small town that is also called the Switzerland of India or Mini Switzerland. Located at an altitude of 6,500 feet, the mesmerizing beauty of this area has greatly inspired and influenced many kingdoms throughout the years, including the Mughals and the Rajputs.
Next, visit the Panch pulla. It means five bridges. It is a waterfall that is surrounded by a cover of fresh, deodar trees and green pine. It is here where five streams come together and make this spot a sight for the sore eyes.
Then, visit the Chamera Dam. It is most famous for sight-seeing, speed boats, fishing and photography. It a famous tourist destination in Dalhousie, due to its exemplary year-round climate.
Day 8: Dalhousie to Dharamshala
Dharamshala is located amidst the tranquillity of the upper Himalayas. Post breakfast, take a 3 hour drive (120 kms) and reach Dharamshala. It is a beautiful city that has natural scenery and a lot of attractions to offer. The Central Tibetan Administration and residence of the Dalai Lama are both situated here making it very pertinent in Indo-Tibetan relations.
Once you reach Dharamshala, check in at the hotel and set out for some adrenaline pumping activities such as camping, paragliding and Trekking. These can be done in Triund and also at Kareri Lake. They are sure to sustain your adventure urges.

Day 9: Explore Dharamshala
After a delicious breakfast, head out to explore this beautiful hill station.
You can visit the Jwalamukhi Devi Temple, Dal Lake, Kangra Fort, Bhagsu waterfalls and Tea Gardens. It is believed that Sati's tongue fell at the Jwalamukhi Devi Temple and the goddess is apparent as small blue flames burning through a slit in the old rock.
The Dal Lake is the second largest lake in the state and it is integral to tourism. If you are a lover of history, visit the oldest dated fort in India, the Kangra Fort.
Bhagsu waterfalls and tea gardens are also very scenic and popular sightseeing places in Dharamshala. The waterfalls are a scenic 20 meter deep that run along a trail lined with street cafes.
Later, return to the hotel for a peaceful sleep.
Day 10: Dharamshala to Chandigarh
Today after breakfast, wave a goodbye to Dharmshala and take a long drive, approximately 250 kms., to Chandigarh. Check in and visit the well-known Rock Garden. Chandigarh rock garden is an epitome of innovation and creativity. It is a distinctive garden that comprises of various art objects. The noticeable thing about this place is that each of its artwork has been made by using urban and industrial waste.
The Sukhna Lake is adjoining the Rock Garden. It serves as an amazing picnic spot and is an appropriate place for pursuing water sport activities like yachting, boating and water skiing.
Return for an overnight at the hotel.

By Flight: The nearest airport to Shimla is situated at Jubbarhatti, 22 kms from Shimla has regular flights from Delhi but due to bad weather conditions, flights may be irregular. The Shimla toy train starts Jouney at 656 meters (2,152 ft) above sea level in Kalka and reaches Shimla at an altitude of 2,076 meters.
The route offers a panoramic feast of the picturesque Himalayas from the Shivalik foot hills at Kalka to several important points such as Dharampur, Solan, Kandaghat, Taradevi, Barog, Salogra, Summerhill and Shimla. The Railway has 919 curves, the sharpest being 48 degrees.The journey takes about five-and-a-half hours to reach Shimla.

Engage at Jakhoo Hill
Jakhu Temple: Jakhu Temple is very popular Temple in Shimla and knows for various reasons. t is believed that this temple holds the footprints of Lord Hanuman. It is located on the Jakhoo Hill, which is 2.5 km from the Ridge and offers beautiful views of the Shivalik Mountains and the nearby town of Sanjauli. The 108 feet tall idol of Lord Hanuman located at the top of the hill is a big attraction for tourists. Legend and myth suggests that the monkey Lord Hanuman rested here while on his search for the Sanjivini Booti (a kind of herb). He met sage Yaaku on the hilltop and then moved ahead in his journey.
