Twin Peaks: It is around 900 feet in height and is the second highest peak. It was known as Los Pechos de la Choco’ by Spanish people. Literally translated, it means breasts of a maiden. It is famous for its picturesque view of Bay area. Its flora, fauna and overall biodiversity is also a must-see.

Golden Gate Park: It is nearly 1000 acres of land which consists of gardens, lakes, monuments and walking trails. It lost its title of largest bridge to a bridge in New York but it is still visited by tourists from around the world. Its construction started in 1933 and lasted almost 4 years. It connects San Francisco to Marin County.

Fisherman Wharf: It is coastal place which has lot of fishing fleet, sea lions, seafood eateries and small gift shops. San Francisco’s famous cable cars have this place as one of their stops. From here, one can go to see Alcatraz and Angel Island. Alcatraz is also known as The Rock which can be seen easily from any place in Fisherman’s Wharf. It is known for its bird sanctuary.

Yosemite National Park

Tunnel View: It opened in 1933. It is known to give a beautiful view of the National Park such that one can see El Captain on the left, Half dome in the centre and Bridalveil Fall on the right. The view is so breathtaking that artists from over the world have travelled to capture the beauty on their canvas.  

BridalVeil Falls

It is waterfall which has 188 metres of height. It is not seasonal so tourists can view it any time of the year. It has many beliefs and a story surrounding its existence which makes it’s an interesting place to visit. Some people believe that its mist when inhaled improves chances of marriage.

Yosemite Falls

It is the highest waterfall in North America and 6^th highest in the world. It is nearly 2400 feet in height. Best time to visit is the spring season because the water levels rise and the speed and gush of the fall are more. It is divided in 3 parts namely Upper Yosemite Fall, Middle Cascades and Lower Yosemite Falls.

It is the largest casino in Clark County. Mirage has 3000 odd rooms and is famous for its artificial volcano, a Cirque du Soleil and a secret garden.

Grand Canyon

It gives a breathtaking view of natural surroundings carved by River Colorado. It is huge, beautiful and colourful. One can enter through South Rim or North Rim. While South Rim is accessible at any point of the year, North Rim is open only from May to October. One has an option of checking of the beauty of the place by sitting on a Yak. The other extreme is taking an air borne helicopter ride.

Grand Canyon National Park

It is one of the oldest parks and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is spread across nearly 12 lakhs acres of land. Tourists can visit the south rim and north rim only. Rest of the terrain is very rough and inaccessible.

Package Itinerary

Day 01

You land at San Francisco and are greeted by our tour guides at the airport. You check into the hotel and freshen up. We quickly have a filling breakfast and move on to complete the city tour. We cover Civic centre, Twin Peaks, Golden Gate Park, Golden Gate Bridge and Fisherman Wharf. We have dinner at an Indian restaurant and come back to the hotel for an overnights stay. 

Day 02

After having an American breakfast, we check out from our hotel. We prepare to see Yosevite National Park, one of the most beautiful spots in America. With huge rocks, waterfalls, mountains, flora & fauna, this place are a must-see. Click lots of photographs and enjoy the expedition with special focus on Tunnel View, BridalVeil Falls & Yosemite Falls. We check into Fresno’s hotel and stay over.

Day 03

We check out from our hotel after having a delicious breakfast. We begin our journey to Las Vegas, Sin City. This city is the tour highlight and we ask our guests to make the most of this one day. They can begin by seeing Las Vegas Strip and end the day with some Casino fun. MGM Grand or Mirage can be covered within the tour.  We then stop by an Indian restaurant and have a delectable dinner. We check into our Las Vegas hotel and take rest after a long day.

Day 04

Today is the last day of sight seeing. We have breakfast and move on with our backpacks to see one of the seven natural wonders of the world. Grand Canyon promises to give you a spectacular view with vastness, colour & beauty. We also visit Grand Canyon National Park before we call it a day and head to our Indian speciality restaurant for dinner. We then spend another night at our Las Vegas Hotel.

Day 05

We check out, have breakfast buffet and head to airport. Your guide will help you with all reminders and important instructions for your travel. We hope to see you again.

• Super 8 El Cerrito is a 2 star hotel that costs about 6,000 per night and has standard rooms for tourists. It is a 3 storey building near Bart station. It gives very basic amenities but is clean and spacious. It gives free breakfast & free Wi-fi.

• Opal Hotel, 3 star hotel that costs about Rs.15,000 per night depending on room type which is either single or double room with air conditioner, room service and laundry facility. It is located in Cathedral Hill neighbourhood. It is a modern hotel but the building belongs to 1908 Victorian era.

• Intercontinental Mark Hopkins, 4 star hotel that costs about 30,000 per night for a deluxe room which is most popular. It is located on Nob hill and provides an amazing view of the bay area. It is a European style hotel and provides amenities like restaurant and gym.

Fresno:

• University Inn is a 2 star hotel that costs about Rs. 4000 per night and has single rooms as popular class. It is located near California State University and is at close proximity to the airport. It has an outdoor pool and laundry service available. They provide free breakfast and free Wi-fi.

• University Square is a 3 star hotel that cost Rs. 6000 per night approximately and has an option of Standard rooms. It is located just opposite Fresno State University and is 15 minutes away from convention centre. They provide airport shuttle, free breakfast and free Wi-fi. They have outdoor pool, gym and spa too.  

• It is a relatively small space so there are not many 4 star or luxury options.

Las Vegas:

• Super 8 Las Vegas Strip Area is a 2 star hotel with approximately Rs. 3000 as per night cost. They have standard rooms with king bed or queen bed. It is a 3 storey building and is located very close to the convention centre. It is also only one black away from The Strip. It has pool, airport shuttle, laundry and free Wi-fi facilities.

• Fortune Hotel & Suites is a 3 star hotel with modest cost of Rs. 5,000 approximately. It is a non casino hotel and is located 2 miles away from McCarran International Airport, 2 blocks away from the Strip and in close proximity to the Convention Centre. Queen Room & King Room are two most popular room categories. It has pool, gym, Wi-fi, restraurant, business centre & airport shuttle services.

• Las Vegas Marriott is a 4 star hotel with Rs. 11000 as approximate charges for one night’s stay for popular deluxe guest rooms. It’s most popular room categories are superior single and standard double. It is a seven storey building very close to Las Vegas Convention Centre. It is half mile away from the Strip. It has gym, laundry, pool, parking, internet, restaurant and bar.  

Flights & Navigation Details:

India to San Francisco: 25 hours journey (1 stop over) covering 13000 kms via British Airways or Virgin Atlantic will cost about Rs. 45,000 per adult. There are no direct flights.

San Francisco to Yosemite: Travel by road in an A/c coach. It takes nearly 3 to 4 hours to cover the distance if one goes non stop. It is roughly 174 miles journey by road.

Fresno to Last Vegas: Travel by road in an A/c coach. It is about 5 hours journey for an approximate 400 miles drive.

Las Vegas to Grand Canyon: Travel by road in an A/c coach. It is about 6 to 7 hours journey for an approximate distance of 223 miles.

Las Vegas to India: 26 hours journey ( 1 stop ) covering 8400 miles via Qatar Airways or United will cost about Rs. 46,000 per adult

Fresno:

• Tandoori Night: It is located on Blackstone Ave. Chicken Tikka Masala & Garlic Naan are good recipes to try. It is neither cheap nor over priced.
• Royal Taj Fine Indian Cuisine: It is located on 1^st St. Its lunch buffet is a good value for money deal. Its Malai Kofta & Veggie Samosas are delicious.
