How to reach Lonavala

By Flight: Lonavala does not have its own airport the nearest airport is Mumbai/ Pune airport which is well connected with various international cites. You need to touch down at either the domestic airport at Pune (66 kilometers from Lonavala) or the international airport at Mumbai (110 kilometers from Lonavala) and from there, take a cab or a train.

By Bus: You can drive from Mumbai/Pune highway to reach Lonavala which is 82 km far away from Mumbai.  Best to visit Lonavala by Mumbai and hire car/ Taxi to reach lonavala

By Train: Lonavala is well-connected by train as well. Local trains from Pune stop over at Lonavala and trains plying between Mumbai and Pune also stop at Lonavala. The nearest railway station is the Karjat Railway station.

But avoid to visit in Monsoon season because lonavala is full with greenery so rainfall occurs heavily here, so it is not correct to visit in monsoon season
