Best time to visit –There are two very distinct seasons in Peru, wet and dry. May through October are considered the driest months of the year, with by far the greatest number of visitors in July and August. One can visit the country between May and September too.
From June to September days are clear and often spectacularly sunny, with chilly or downright cold nights, especially at high elevations. For trekking in the mountains, including the Inca Trail, these are by far the best months.

Day 1 Delhi – Lima (B/L/D)
Fly from Delhi for your destination in Lima where upon arrival at meet our representatives at the airport who’ll transfer you to selected hotel.After rest leave for sightseeing tour of Lima that will consists of Archbishop palace of Lima where the official residence and office of Peru's president, sits on the banks of the Rimac River. Proceed to Torre Tangle palace that is distinguished by two finely worked balconies in dark wood. These balconies (or miradors) adapt the European architecture to vernacular Peruvian tradition. Also visit Cathedral of Lima and wals of the ancient city. Return to hotel for overnight and sightseeing.

Day 2: Lima / Puno (B/L/D)
Check out from the hotel after breakfast and transfer to Lima airport. Upon arrival in Juliaca you’ll be transferred to selected hotel in Puno. Later you’ll bevisiting the "Chullpas" of Sillustani, where the ancient Aymaras used to bury their high priests in cylinder-shaped tombs. Breakfast.
The sightseeing tour shall continue and you’ll be visiting Puno Cathedral and Yawari. Puno Cathedral is an Andean Baroque cathedral in the city of Puno in south-eastern Peru. It is the seat of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Puno.
Return to the hotel and rest of the day shall be free for leisure.

Day 3 - Lake Titicaca (B/L/D)
Leave from hotel and proceed for Lake Titicaca for a motor-boat ride on that magnificent lake Titicaca (with a surface area of 8,300 km2) to visit the unique floating islands of the Uros which is the home for a "Water Tribe" for 100 of years now. Their lifestyle is based on the benefits of a unique plant: the totora reed (Scyrpus totora). They use it to build their homes, boats and even the floating islands they live on, periodically adding new layers of reeds.
From here continue to the natural island of Taquile on Lake Titicaca inhabited by quechua-speaking natives who have developed, through generations, both an efficient and original social system and a fine hand weaving technique.

Raqchi had a great reputation as an important destination for pilgrims, a fact that explains the warehouses and other buildings around the temple that served as dwellings for priests, servants and farmers. Also visit to the largest and most beautiful temple built to commemorate Wiracocha Pachayachachi (maker of the wall), built on the splendor time of the Inca Empire, under the ruling of Inca Pachacutec who unified the Indians territory with a well organized administration and also established the use of the Quechua language on the people conquered by him. Day 4 Puno- Arequipa
Check out from the hotel after breakfast and get transferred to the airport for your connecting flight. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. The city of Arequipa is the 3rd largest city in Peru and one of major importance in southern Peru. Commonly known as "The White City" for its numerous and magnificent temple constructions, convents, homes and palaces using white stone, this white rock is of volcanic origin and is intricately sculpted. It is a picturesque place that combines the beauty of the green countryside with the overwhelming presence of volcanoes and snow-covered mountains.

Later leave for local sightseeing accompanied with our English speaking guide who’ll take you to the Convent of Santa Catalina, a fascinating relic of colonial times.
The most important and impressive monument religious construction of Perú, it was founded on September 1579, for Santa Catalina de Siena vocation. Its narrow streets, gardens and squares have Spanish names and remind the old neighbourhood of Granada and Sevilla. There are museums with important pieces like porcelain, religious ornaments, sculptures, pictures of different colleges.

Day 5 Arequipa – Colca
Check out from the hotel after breakfast at the hotel and depart for a full day journey to the Colca Valley. Several stops will be made for photographing the vicuñas in Pampa Cañahuas. Arrive at Chivay and transfer to your hotel.

Day 6 Colca – Cusco
Check out from hotel after breakfast at the hotel and depart by bus to Cusco with stopovers at Racchi and Andahuaylillas.
Evening arrive in Cusco and transfer to your hotel. Cusco, a Peruvian region with the most beautiful views till endless sights. The city is the oldest city in western hemisphese that is surrounded by six mountains more than 6,000 meters high. It is the cradle of the Inca civilization. The city of Cusco is located exactly in the western part of the river Watanay valley, at an altitude of 3,400m. (Plaza de Armas) and is considered one of the highest cities in the world.

Day 7 – Cusco Sightseeing
After breakfast enjoy proceed for city tour with our English speaking guide who’ll take you to Koricancha, a wonderful Ceremonial construction built during the Incas heyday. Afterwards, we will visit the Cusco Cathedral. At the Cathedral, see the beautiful old paintings, including the famous painting of the Last Supper. Later on, drive on to the northern outskirts of Cusco, towards the Inca buildings such as Sacsayhuaman.

Here, take a walk through the huge Inca walls, built with massive rocks weighing up to 180 tons, well-fitted with absolute perfection. Then, move onto another important Inca site known as Qenqo, a strange place with subterranean passages, hiding in its interior perfect carved stone s where the Incas probably mummified their dead. Later drive further up to visit the Inca Baths of Tambomachay and the military lookout point of Pucapucara, and finally back to Cusco.

Day 8 - Cusco – Urubamba – Cusco
After breakfast leave for full day excursion to Urubamba, the Sacred Valley of the Incas. The Sacred Valley of the Incas and the Urubamba are used inter-changeably to describe the valley that runs from east of Pisac to Ollantaytambo at the western end of the Valley. It is a narrow, winding valley with spectacular snow capped peaks constantly in view.
At the eastern end of the valley is Pisac. Best known for its Sunday market, there are now smaller markets on Tuesday and Thursdays. There is also an impressive set of ruins perched on the mountainside overlooking the valley. Stroll and bargain at the handicrafts market of Pisac.
After lunch continue to the archaeological complex of Ollantaytambo, an important Inca construction built during the Inca's heyday. This is an extraordinary Inca place where, besides the ruins, you can also see an amazing rock formation representing the Inca god Wiracocha.

Day 9 Cusco - Machu Picchu
Check out from the hotel and for an early transfer to the station for a 3-hour train ride to Machu Picchu. Mysterious Machu Picchu, often called “The lost City of the Incas” is a stunning sight that will amaze and astound any visitor, and since it was not plundered by the Spanish when they conquered the Incas, it is especially important as a cultural site and is considered a sacred place. It was recently voted as one of the New Seven Wonders of the World.
Upon arrival, embark on a guided tour of the citadel. Visit the Main Plaza, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Solar Clock, the Royal Quarters, the Temple of the Three Windows & cemeteries.

Day 10Machu Picchu - Cusco
Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy morning at leisure to explore on your own. You can opt to visit the Machu Picchu Citadel or hike the Huayna Picchu to receive the cosmic and tellurics energy that the Sacred Apu has (Entrance tickets not included for the second visit).
The hike to Huayna Picchu starts at the Sacred Rock and passes through a gate that is open from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. This - one to two - hour walk is steep but the path is in excellent shape, though the last 20 meters include a steep rock slab that is climbed with a ladder and a rope. The Incas built terraces here, and the airy summit offers a perfect view of the entire complex, which spreads out before the summit like a map. The view is unique and make for excellent scenic photographs.
After lunch check out from the hotel and return to Cusco by train. Overnight at Cusco.
Day 11 - Cusco - Lima
This morning, after breakfast check out from the hotel and transfer to the airport for your flight to Lima. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. Enjoy the morning at leisure to explore Lima on your own.
Afternoon, get ready to be dazzled with a visit to the Gold Museum. See a spectacular collection of Ancient Gold and the "Arms of the World Collection" from various pre-Colombian civilizations, some more than 3000 years old. Metal pieces &jewelry of incalculable value in Gold, Silver & precious stones used by the Incas - the children of the Sun god and monarch of the vast Inca Empire - are shown in this collection.

The Gold Museum also hosts a valuable collection of old & modern weapons that ranks among the best in the world. The halls in this section show the Arms of the World collection of armours, uniforms and various ancient war tools and weapons from various ages in the world. Some of them are dated as long ago as 1300 B.C.

Day 12 Lima - Departure

After breakfast enjoy proceed for city tour with our English speaking guide who’ll take you to Koricancha, a wonderful Ceremonial construction built during the Incas heyday. Afterwards, we will visit the Cusco Cathedral. At the Cathedral, see the beautiful old paintings, including the famous painting of the Last Supper. Later on, drive on to the northern outskirts of Cusco, towards the Inca buildings such as Sacsayhuaman.
Here, take a walk through the huge Inca walls, built with massive rocks weighing up to 180 tons, well-fitted with absolute perfection. Then, move onto another important Inca site known as Qenqo, a strange place with subterranean passages, hiding in its interior perfect carved stone s where the Incas probably mummified their dead. Later drive further up to visit the Inca Baths of Tambomachay and the military lookout point of Pucapucara, and finally back to Cusco.

Day 8 - Cusco – Urubamba – Cusco
After breakfast leave for full day excursion to Urubamba, the Sacred Valley of the Incas. The Sacred Valley of the Incas and the Urubamba are used inter-changeably to describe the valley that runs from east of Pisac to Ollantaytambo at the western end of the Valley. It is a narrow, winding valley with spectacular snow capped peaks constantly in view.
At the eastern end of the valley is Pisac. Best known for its Sunday market, there are now smaller markets on Tuesday and Thursdays. There is also an impressive set of ruins perched on the mountainside overlooking the valley. Stroll and bargain at the handicrafts market of Pisac.
After lunch continue to the archaeological complex of Ollantaytambo, an important Inca construction built during the Inca's heyday. This is an extraordinary Inca place where, besides the ruins, you can also see an amazing rock formation representing the Inca god Wiracocha.

Day 9 Cusco - Machu Picchu
Check out from the hotel and for an early transfer to the station for a 3-hour train ride to Machu Picchu. Mysterious Machu Picchu, often called “The lost City of the Incas” is a stunning sight that will amaze and astound any visitor, and since it was not plundered by the Spanish when they conquered the Incas, it is especially important as a cultural site and is considered a sacred place. It was recently voted as one of the New Seven Wonders of the World.
Upon arrival, embark on a guided tour of the citadel. Visit the Main Plaza, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Solar Clock, the Royal Quarters, the Temple of the Three Windows & cemeteries.
Dinner and overnight at Machu Picchu.
Day 10Machu Picchu - Cusco
Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy morning at leisure to explore on your own. You can opt to visit the Machu Picchu Citadel or hike the Huayna Picchu to receive the cosmic and tellurics energy that the Sacred Apu has (Entrance tickets not included for the second visit).
The hike to Huayna Picchu starts at the Sacred Rock and passes through a gate that is open from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. This - one to two - hour walk is steep but the path is in excellent shape, though the last 20 meters include a steep rock slab that is climbed with a ladder and a rope. The Incas built terraces here, and the airy summit offers a perfect view of the entire complex, which spreads out before the summit like a map. The view is unique and make for excellent scenic photographs.
After lunch check out from the hotel and return to Cusco by train. Overnight at Cusco.
Day 11 - Cusco - Lima
This morning, after breakfast check out from the hotel and transfer to the airport for your flight to Lima. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. Enjoy the morning at leisure to explore Lima on your own.
Afternoon, get ready to be dazzled with a visit to the Gold Museum. See a spectacular collection of Ancient Gold and the "Arms of the World Collection" from various pre-Colombian civilizations, some more than 3000 years old. Metal pieces &jewelry of incalculable value in Gold, Silver & precious stones used by the Incas - the children of the Sun god and monarch of the vast Inca Empire - are shown in this collection.
The Gold Museum also hosts a valuable collection of old & modern weapons that ranks among the best in the world. The halls in this section show the Arms of the World collection of armours, uniforms and various ancient war tools and weapons from various ages in the world. Some of them are dated as long ago as 1300 B.C.
Return to your hotel. Overnight at Lima.
Day 12 Lima - Departure
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
