Mount Abu Family Tour Package - Package Itinerary

After arrival at Udaipur airport or railway station and meet with our representative and they will meet you with warm welcome and proceed to Mount Abu which is 163 m far away from Udaipur. Before reach Mount Abu you will stop for lunch at any enroute Restaurant/ Dhaba later you will continue your journey to Mont Abu. After reach you will transfer to hotel for freshen up and have some rest at your leisure, in the evening you will visit nearest market for shopping and buy some gifts for your children, after that you will come back to hotel. Overnight stay with dinner at Mount Abu hotel

 

Day 01: FOOD

After breakfast you will visit some famous places of Mount Abu which includes Dilwara Jain Temples, Toad Rock, Nakki Lake, after that you will visit Mother's Kitchen Restaurant for lunch later you will visit towards some more site seeing of Mount Abu which are Guru Shikhar and in the evening you will visit Sunset Point, after that you will come back to hotel. Overnight stay with dinner at Mount Abu hotel

 

Dilwara Jain Temples: Dating back 11th- 13th centuries make it a popular pilgrimage centre. Abu according to a legend stands for the son of Himalayan, deriving its name from Arbuada, the powerful serpent who rescued Nandi, the sacred bull of Lord Shiva, from a chasm. Mount Abu has been home to many sages and saints. Most famous of them was Sage Vashishtha who is believed to have created four agnikula Rajput clans from a fire-pit by performing a yagna or fire sacrifice, to protect the earth from the demons. The Yagna was performed besides a natural spring situated below Abu, emerging from a rock shaped like a cows head and hence the site was called Gaumukh.

 

Toad Rock: Toad Rock is situated to the south of Nakki Lake in Mount Abu and comprises of a huge rock that looks like a toad about to jump into the water. It is most famous and covinient place, this rock structure provides a great view of the lake and the surrounding greenery.

Other Attraction in Mount Abu

Sunset Point located in South West of Nakki Lake provides you a scenic view of the setting sun. Hundreds of people swarm this area in the evening amidst a carnival atmosphere. Food stalls, souvenir shops abounds the area. The scenic hills, tranquil surrounding, and the pleasant climate make it a favorite spot of the tourists.

It is the largest manmade lake at the height of 11, 00 meters in India then on the other hand it is romantically called the love lake of Mount Abu. The name Nakki is also derived from the romantic story of the aged sage Rasia Balam and the nubile teenager Kunvanri Kanya. The two lovelorn souls were prevented from tying their love in a nuptial knot, by the scheming parents and their conniving Gods.

Abu Road lies to the southeast of Mount Abu, at a distance of 27 km.  Prominent attractions of the town include Ganesh Mandir, Brama Kumari Ashram, Chandravati and Bhadrakali Temple.

This is the highest peak of the Aravali range with an altitude of about 1,722m above sea level. The trek to the top of the mountain is adventurous and fun.  The quiet and serene environment here makes this place a much sought after tourist spot.
