How to Reach Mumbai

By Flight: Mumbai’s airport is the Sahara International Airport and has many international airlines flying to Mumbai. Kolaba fort: The Kolaba or Kulaba Fort (or the Alibag Fort) is an old military fortification in India, now turned into a popular tourist destination and a protected monument. Constructed by Shivaji, the Fort was chosen by him to be one of his chief naval stations.

Akshi Beach: Akshi Beach white sands dotted by numerous Suru trees and an occasional spotting of birds, Akshi Beach at a distance of 5km from Alibaug, is a beach ideal for spending some slow paced, relaxed time as well as bird watching.  Kihim beach:  Kihim beach Situated 12 km away from Alibaug, the beach is almost perfect for beautiful romantic weekends. Fishing village Mandwa is located on the north coast of Alibag. Must see places in Lonavala 

Tikona: A prominent hill fort in Lonavala, Tikona is also one of its most important places to visit. Tikona literally means ‘Triangle Fort’. The summit of the fort being shaped like a pyramid, makes up for it being easily recognizable even from a distance. The fort is a trekking destination noted for the large doors, the temple of 'Trimbakeshwar Mahadev', a water tanks (seven water tanks) and some Satvahan caves. Trek organizers also commend the views of Pawna dam and the nearby forts of Tung, Lohagad and Visapur

Kamshet: Kamshet has emerged from being a small hamlet of little importance to being a mecca for adventure lovers and adrenaline seekers. The landscape is perfect for all adventure seekers. Especially for paragliding, trekking and hiking. Located at a short distance away from Lonavala. The calm and green hills and languid lakes make it an ideal holiday destination that is adorned every tiny embellishment of nature.

Pawna Dam: Pawna Dam is one of the most amazing places to see near Lonavala. Pratapgad Fort: This Fort is a must-visit to get a glimpse of the valor and courage of the Marathas. It was here that the mighty general of Bijapur, Afzal Khan was killed by Shivaji. The fort offers amazing views of the town lying below.

Panchaganga Temple: A unique temple with five stone conduits, it is believed to be fed by waters flowing from five holy rivers Krishna, Venna, Koyna, Savitri and Gayatri. These streams of water further join into the cow-face spout. The River Ganga is also believed to flow here once every 12 years.

Old Mahabaleshwar Temple: The town is said to derive its name from Lord Mahabali or Shiva, who is shown here as a self-made lingam in the shape of a rudraksha seed. It is also believed that a spring flows below the shivling.

Mapro Farm: This is the best place in Mahabaleshwar to try out a wide range of strawberry shakes, fruit salads and ice creams. You can also purchase fresh fruit squashes, lemonades and fruit juices to carry home

Lingmala Waterfalls: Mahabaleshwar is home to some extremely charming waterfalls. The Lingmala Falls atop the Venna Valley is extremely picturesque as the water cascades down almost 600 ft.

Dhobi Waterfalls: An extremely picturesque fall, the water cascades from into a deep valley before meeting the Koyna River.

Chinaman Falls: Another scenic picnic spot, the falls are accessible through the Tiger Path Road or from Babington Point by Carviali Road.

Wilson Point: A wonderful spot to enjoy spectacular sunrise and sunset views, three observation towers provide splendid views of the valleys around.
