How to reach Goa

The main spices grown here are cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, turmeric, ginger, basil, nutmeg and pepper plantations and are quite popular as a major tourist attraction. The plantations use organic methods of cultivation and farming and are known to produce many of Goa's fantastic aromatic spices.At the spice plantations in Goa one can explore the fields the farms. A guide is known to explain about all the spices and plants also tell about their medicinal properties. One can also see men climbing Betel Nut trees which are very tall and how they maintain a balance whilst plucking betel nut fruits from those swaying trees.The spice plantations are known to be managed by people who excel in the technical know how of farming spices and who have comprehensive knowledge. Calangute Beach: Also called the ‘Queen of beaches’, Calangute is the largest beach in north Goa. Calangute along with Candolim, Baga and Anjuna form part of the beach stretch extending from just outside Panaji city to Fort Aguada Calangute is Goa’s busiest and most commercialized beach town Its sand shelves steeply and could be risky for children. However, the beach is large enough to accommodate the thousands of tourists that visit during the high season.  Calangute is more of a family destination. Nightlife in Calangute is tame, as night clubs and bars shut down at 10 pm. The beach is popular among tourists due to the availability of restaurants, clubs and shopping activities. Calangute is also famous for its water sport activities. One can experience para-sailing, water surfing, banana ride, jet-ski.

Anjuna Beach:   The beach is famous for its stunning natural beauty with swaying palms trees and soft powered white sands.
